Sura 13 - Ar-Ra'd

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
13:1
المر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ ۗ وَالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ الْحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Alif Lam Mym Ra. (A.L.M.R.) Hizi ni Ishara za Kitabu. Na uliyo teremshiwa kutoka kwa Mola wako Mlezi ni Haki. Lakini wengi wa watu hawaamini.
*Alif, Lām, Mīm, Rā. These are the signs of the Book. That which has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, but most people do not believe in it.
13:2
اللَّهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu aliye ziinua mbingu bila ya nguzo mnazo ziona, ametawala kwenye Ufalme wake, na amefanya jua na mwezi yamt´ii, kila kimoja kinakwenda kwa kiwango maalumu. Anayapanga mambo, na anazipambanua Ishara ili mpate kuwa na yakini kukutana na Mola wenu Mlezi.
*It is God who raised the heavens without any pillars that you see, and then presided over the Throne. He disposed the sun and the moon, each moving for a specified term. He directs the command, and elaborates the signs that you may be certain of encountering your Lord.
13:3
وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا ۖ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
*Na ndiye aliye itandaza ardhi na akaweka humo milima na mito. Na katika kila matunda akafanya dume na jike. Huufunika usiku juu ya mchana. Hakika katika haya zimo Ishara kwa watu wanao fikiri.
*It is He who has spread out the earth and set in it firm mountains and streams, and of every fruit He has made in it two kinds. He draws the night’s cover over the day. There are indeed signs in that for people who reflect.
13:4
وَفِي الْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُتَجَاوِرَاتٌ وَجَنَّاتٌ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَىٰ بِمَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِي الْأُكُلِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
*Na katika ardhi vimo vipande vilivyo karibiana, na zipo bustani za mizabibu, na mimea mingine, na mitende yenye kuchipua kwenye shina moja na isio chipua kwenye shina moja, nayo inatiliwa maji yale yale. Na tunaifanya baadhi yao bora kuliko mengine katika kula. Hakika katika hayo zimo ishara kwa watu wanao tia mambo akilini.
*In the earth are neighbouring terrains of diverse kinds and vineyards, farms, and date palms growing from the same root and from diverse roots, all irrigated by the same water, and We give some of them an advantage over others in flavour. There are indeed signs in that for a people who exercise their reason.
13:5
وَإِنْ تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ أَإِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ الْأَغْلَالُ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
*Na kama ukistaajabu, basi cha ajabu zaidi ni huo usemi wao: Ati tukisha kuwa mchanga kweli tutakuwa katika umbo jipya? Hao ndio walio mkufuru Mola wao Mlezi. Na hao ndio watao kuwa na makongwa shingoni mwao, na hao ndio watu wa Motoni. Humo watadumu.
*If you are to wonder, then wonderful is their remark, ‘When we have become dust, shall we be ushered into a new creation?’ They are the ones who defy their Lord; they shall have iron collars around their necks, they shall be the inhabitants of the Fire, and they will remain in it.
13:6
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلَاتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
*Na wanakuhimiza ulete maovu kabla ya mema, hali ya kuwa zimekwisha pita kabla yao adhabu za kupigiwa mfano. Na hakika Mola wako Mlezi ni Mwenye msamaha kwa watu juu ya udhalimu wao. Na hakika Mola wako Mlezi ni Mkali wa kuadhibu.
*They would press you for evil sooner than for good, though there have already gone by before them exemplary punishments. Your Lord is indeed forgiving to mankind despite their wrongdoing, and your Lord is indeed severe in retribution.
13:7
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ ۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ
*Na wale walio kufuru husema: Mbona hakuteremshiwa muujiza kutoka kwa Mola wake Mlezi? Hakika wewe ni Mwonyaji, na kila kaumu ina wa kuwaongoa.
*The faithless say, ‘Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ You are only a warner, and there is a guide for every people.
13:8
اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنْثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ۖ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِمِقْدَارٍ
*Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mimba abebayo kila mwanamke, na kinacho punguka na kuzidi matumboni. Na kila kitu kwake ni kwa kipimo.
*God knows what every female carries in her womb, and what the wombs reduce and what they increase, and everything is by precise measure with Him,
13:9
عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعَالِ
*Yeye ndiye Mwenye kujua yanayo onekana na yasio onekana; Mkuu Aliye tukuka.
*the Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, the All-great, the All-sublime.
13:10
سَوَاءٌ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَسَرَّ الْقَوْلَ وَمَنْ جَهَرَ بِهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍ بِاللَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌ بِالنَّهَارِ
*Ni sawa anaye ficha kauli yake kati yenu na anaye idhihirisha, na anaye jibanza usiku na anaye tembea jahara mchana.
*It is the same to Him whether any of you speaks secretly, or does so loudly, or whether he lurks in the night, or is open to view in daytime.
13:11
لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَالٍ
*Kila mtu analo kundi la malaika mbele yake na nyuma yake linamlinda kwa amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu habadili yaliyoko kwa watu mpaka wabadili wao yaliyomo naf- sini mwao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anapo watakia watu adhabu hakuna cha kuzuia wala hawana mlinzi yeyote badala yake.
*He has guardian angels, at his front and rear, who guard him by God’s command. Indeed, God does not change a people’s lot, unless they change what is in their souls. And when God wishes to visit ill on a people, there is nothing that can avert it, and they have no protector besides Him.
13:12
هُوَ الَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَيُنْشِئُ السَّحَابَ الثِّقَالَ
*Yeye ndiye anaye kuonyesheni umeme kwa khofu na tamaa, na huyaleta mawingu mazito.
*It is He who shows you the lightning, inspiring fear and hope, and He produces the clouds heavy with rain.
13:13
وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي اللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ
*Na radi inamtakasa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kumhimidi, na Malaika pia, kwa kumkhofu. Naye hupeleka mapigo ya radi yakampata amtakaye. Nao wanabishana juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Yeye ni Mwenye adhabu kali!
*The Thunder celebrates His praise, and the angels, too, in awe of Him, and He releases the thunderbolts and strikes with them whomever He wishes. Yet they dispute concerning God, though He is great in might.
13:14
لَهُ دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُونَ لَهُمْ بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا كَبَاسِطِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَالِغِهِ ۚ وَمَا دُعَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ
*Wa kuombwa kweli ni Yeye tu. Na hao wanao waomba badala yake hawawajibu chochote; bali ni kama mwenye kunyoosha viganja vyake kwenye maji ili yafike kinywani mwake, lakini hayafiki. Na maombi ya makafiri hayako ila katika upotovu.
*Only to Him belongs the true invocation; and those whom they invoke besides Him do not answer them in any wise— like someone who stretches his hands towards water desiring that it should reach his mouth, but it does not reach it— and the invocations of the faithless only go awry.
13:15
وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَالُهُمْ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ ۩
*Na viliomo mbinguni na katika ardhi vinamsujudia Mwenyezi Mungu tu vikitaka visitake. Na pia vivuli vyao asubuhi na jioni.
*To God prostrates whoever there is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and their shadows at sunrise and sunset.
13:16
قُلْ مَنْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلْ أَفَاتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِي الظُّلُمَاتُ وَالنُّورُ ۗ أَمْ جَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ خَلَقُوا كَخَلْقِهِ فَتَشَابَهَ الْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ
*Sema: Ni nani Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi? Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu. Sema: Basi je, mnawafanya wenginewe badala yake kuwa ni walinzi, nao hawajifai wenyewe kwa jema wala baya? Sema: Hebu kipofu na mwenye kuona huwa sawa? Au hebu huwa sawa giza na mwangaza? Au wamemfanyia Mwenyezi Mungu washirika walio umba kama alivyo umba Yeye, na viumbe hivyo vikawadanganyikia? Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Muumba wa kila kitu. Na Yeye ni Mmoja Mwenye kushinda!
*Say, ‘Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?’ Say, ‘God!’ Say, ‘Have you, then, taken others besides Him for protectors, who have no control over their own benefit or harm?’ Say, ‘Are the blind one and the seer equal? Or, are darkness and light equal?’ Have they set up for God partners who have created like His creation, so that the creations seemed confusable to them? Say, ‘God is the creator of all things, and He is the One, the All-paramount.’
13:17
أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَابِيًا ۚ وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّارِ ابْتِغَاءَ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَاعٍ زَبَدٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ وَالْبَاطِلَ ۚ فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاءً ۖ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ
*Ameteremsha maji kutoka mbinguni. Na mabonde yakamiminika maji kwa kadiri yake. Na mafuriko yakachukua mapovu yaliyo kusanyika juu yake. Na kutokana na wanavyo yayusha katika moto kwa kutaka mapambo au vyombo hutokea povu vile vile. Namna hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu ndivyo anavyo piga mifano ya Haki na baat´ili. Basi lile povu linapita kama takataka tu basi. Ama kinacho wafaa watu hubakia kwenye ardhi. Hivi ndivyo Mwenyezi Mungu anavyo piga mifano.
*He sends down water from the sky whereat the valleys are flooded to their capacity, and the flood carries along a swelling scum. And from what they smelt in the fire for the purpose of making ornaments or wares, there arises a similar scum. That is how God compares truth and falsehood. As for the scum, it leaves as dross, and that which profits the people stays in the earth. That is how God draws comparisons.
13:18
لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ
*Walio muitikia Mola wao Mlezi watapata wema. Na wasio muitikia, hata wangeli kuwa navyo vyote viliomo katika ardhi na mfano wa hivyo, bila ya shaka wangeli vitoa kujikombolea! Hao watapata hisabu mbaya kabisa, na makao yao ni Jahannamu. Na hapo ni pahala pabaya mno!
*For those who answer the summons of their Lord there shall be the best of rewards. But as for those who do not answer Him, even if they possessed all that is on the earth and as much of it besides, they would surely offer it to redeem themselves with it. For such there shall be an adverse reckoning, and their refuge shall be hell, and it is an evil resting place.
13:19
أَفَمَنْ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ الْحَقُّ كَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْمَىٰ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
*Je! Anaye jua ya kwamba yaliyo teremshwa kwako kutoka kwa Mola wako Mlezi ni Haki ni sawa na aliye kipofu? Wenye akili ndio wanao zingatia,
*Is someone who knows that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, like someone who is blind? Only those who possess intellect take admonition
13:20
الَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَنْقُضُونَ الْمِيثَاقَ
*Wale ambao wanatimiza ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wala hawavunji maagano.
*—those who fulfill God’s covenant and do not break the pledge solemnly made,
13:21
وَالَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوءَ الْحِسَابِ
*Na wale ambao huyaunga aliyo amrisha Mwenyezi Mungu yaungwe, na wanaikhofu hisabu mbaya.
*and those who join what God has commanded to be joined, fear their Lord, and are afraid of an adverse reckoning
13:22
وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
*Na ambao husubiri kwa kutaka radhi ya Mola wao Mlezi, na wakashika Sala, na wakatoa, kwa siri na kwa uwazi, katika tulivyo wapa; na wakayaondoa maovu kwa wema. Hao ndio watakao pata malipo ya Nyumba ya Akhera.
*—those who are patient for the sake of their Lord’s pleasure, maintain the prayer, and spend out of what We have provided them, secretly and openly, and repel others’ evil conduct with good. For such will be the reward of the ultimate abode:
13:23
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ بَابٍ
*Nayo ni Bustani za milele, wataziingia wao na walio wema miongoni mwa baba zao, na wake zao, na vizazi vyao. Na Malaika wanawaingilia katika kila mlango.
*the Gardens of Eden, which they will enter along with whoever is righteous from among their forebears, spouses and descendants, and the angels will call on them from every door:
13:24
سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
*(Wakiwaambia) Assalamu Alaikum! Amani iwe juu yenu, kwa sababu ya mlivyo subiri! Basi ni mema mno malipo ya Nyumba ya Akhera.
*‘Peace be to you, for your patience.’ How excellent is the reward of the ultimate abode!
13:25
وَالَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ
*Na wale wanao vunja ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu baada ya kuzifunga, na wanakata aliyo amrisha Mwenyezi Mungu yaungwe, na wanafanya fisadi katika nchi: hao ndio watakao pata laana, na watapata Nyumba mbaya.
*But as for those who break God’s compact after having pledged it solemnly, and sever what God has commanded to be joined, and cause corruption on the earth —it is such on whom the curse will lie, and for them will be the ills of the ultimate abode.
13:26
اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ وَفَرِحُوا بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَاعٌ
*Mwenyezi Mungu humkunjulia riziki amtakaye, na humkunjia kwa kipimo. Na wamefurahia maisha ya dunia. Na uhai wa dunia kwa kulingana na Akhera si kitu ila ni starehe ndogo.
*God expands the provision for whomever He wishes and tightens it. They rejoice in the life of this world, but compared with the Hereafter the life of this world is but a trifling enjoyment.
13:27
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ
*Na wanasema walio kufuru: Kwa nini hakuteremshiwa muujiza kutoka kwa Mola wake Mlezi. Sema: Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu humwacha kupotea amtakaye, na humwongoa anaye elekea kwake,
*The faithless say, ‘Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘Indeed, God leads astray whomever He wishes, and guides to Himself those who turn penitently to Him
13:28
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُمْ بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
*Wale walio amini na zikatua nyoyo zao kwa kumkumbuka Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika kwa kumkumbuka Mwenyezi Mungu ndio nyoyo hutua!
*—those who have faith, and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of God.’ Behold! The hearts find rest solely in God’s remembrance!
13:29
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ طُوبَىٰ لَهُمْ وَحُسْنُ مَآبٍ
*Wale walio amini na wakatenda mema watakuwa na raha na marejeo mazuri.
*Those who have faith and do righteous deeds —happy are they and good is their ultimate destination.
13:30
كَذَٰلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ فِي أُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهَا أُمَمٌ لِتَتْلُوَ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ
*Ndio kama hivi tumekutuma kwa umma ambao wamekwsiha pita kabla yao umati nyengine, ili uwasomee tunayo kufunulia, na wao wanamkufuru Rahmani, Mwingi wa Rehema! Sema: Yeye ndiye Mola wangu Mlezi. Hapana mungu isipo kuwa Yeye. Juu yake nimetegemea, na kwake ndio marejeo yangu!
*Thus have We sent you to a nation before which many nations have passed away, so that you may recite to them what We have revealed to you. Yet they defy the All-beneficent. Say, ‘He is my Lord; there is no god except Him; in Him alone I have put my trust, and to Him alone will be my return.’
13:31
وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَىٰ ۗ بَلْ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا ۗ أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ لَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا تُصِيبُهُمْ بِمَا صَنَعُوا قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِنْ دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
*Na kama ingeli kuwako Qur´ani ndiyo inayo endeshewa milima, na kupasuliwa ardhi, na kusemeshewa wafu, (basi ingeli kuwa Qur´ani hii). Bali mambo yote ni ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Je, hawajajua walio amini kwamba lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ange penda bila ya shaka angeli waongoa watu wote? Wala walio kufuru hawaachi kusibiwa na balaa kwa waliyo yatenda, au ikawateremkia karibu na nyumbani kwao, mpaka ifike ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu havunji miadi yake.
*If only it were a Qur’ān whereby the mountains could be moved, or the earth could be toured, or the dead could be spoken to . . . . Indeed, all dispensation belongs to God. Have not the faithful yet realised that had God wished He would have guided mankind all together? The faithless will continue to be visited by catastrophes because of their doings, or they will land near their habitations, until God’s promise comes to pass. Indeed, God does not break His promise.
13:32
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ
*Na hakika walifanyiwa kejeli Mitume walio kuwa kabla yako. Na nikawapururia wale walio kufuru, kisha nikawashika! Basi ilikuwaje adhabu yangu!
*Apostles were certainly derided before you. But then I gave respite to those who were faithless, then I seized them; so how was My retribution?
13:33
أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ ۗ وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ ۚ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ بِظَاهِرٍ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۗ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّوا عَنِ السَّبِيلِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ
*Je! Anaye isimamia kila nafsi kwa yale iliyo yachuma...? Na wamemfanyia Mwenyezi Mungu kuwa na washirika! Sema watajeni. Au ndio mnampa khabari ya yale asiyo yajua katika ardhi; au ni maneno matupu? Bali walio kufuru wamepambiwa vitimbi vyao na wamezuiliwa njia. Na ambaye Mwenyezi Mungu amemwacha apotee basi hana wa kumwongoa.
*Is He who sustains every soul in spite of what it earns [comparable to the idols]? Yet they ascribe partners to God! Say, ‘Name them!’ Will you inform Him concerning something He does not know about on the earth, or concerning what are mere words? Indeed, their scheming is presented as decorous to the faithless, and they have been barred from the right way; and whomever God leads astray, has no guide.
13:34
لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ
*Wanayo adhabu katika maisha ya dunia, na adhabu ya Akhera hapana shaka ina mashaka zaidi. Na wala hawatakuwa na wa kuwalinda na Mwenyezi Mungu.
*There is a punishment for them in the life of this world, and the punishment of the Hereafter will surely be harder, and they have no defender against God.
13:35
مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ أُكُلُهَا دَائِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا ۚ تِلْكَ عُقْبَى الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا ۖ وَعُقْبَى الْكَافِرِينَ النَّارُ
*Mfano wa Bustani waliyo ahidiwa wachamngu, kati yake inapita mito, matunda yake ni ya daima, na pia kivuli chake. Huu ndio mwisho wa wale walio walio jilinda. Na mwisho wa makafiri ni Moto.
*A description of the paradise promised to the Godwary: streams run in it, its fruits and shade are everlasting. Such is the requital of those who are Godwary, and the requital of the faithless is the Fire.
13:36
وَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَمِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ مَنْ يُنْكِرُ بَعْضَهُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَلَا أُشْرِكَ بِهِ ۚ إِلَيْهِ أَدْعُو وَإِلَيْهِ مَآبِ
*Na tulio wapa Kitabu wanafurahia uliyo teremshiwa. Na katika makundi mengine wapo wanao yakataa baadhi ya haya. Sema: Nimeamrishwa nimuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu, na wala nisimshirikishe. Kuendea kwake Yeye ndiyo ninaita, na kwake Yeye ndio marejeo yangu.
*Those whom We have given the Book rejoice in what has been sent down to you, and some of the factions deny a part of it. Say, ‘I have indeed been commanded to worship God and not to ascribe any partner to Him. To Him do I summon [all mankind] and to Him will be my return.’
13:37
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا ۚ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ بَعْدَمَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا وَاقٍ
*Na ndio kama hivi tumeiteremsha Qur´ani kuwa ni hukumu kwa lugha ya Kiarabu. Na ukifuata matamanio yao baada ya kukujia ilimu hii, hutakuwa na rafiki wala mlinzi mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu.
*Thus We have sent it down as a dispensation in Arabic; and should you follow their base desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have against God neither any friend nor defender.
13:38
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ
*Na hakika Sisi tulikwisha watuma Mitume kabla yako, na tukajaalia wawe na wake na dhuriya. Na haiwi kwa Mtume kuleta miujiza isipo kuwa kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Kila kipindi kina hukumu yake.
*Certainly We have sent apostles before you, and We appointed for them wives and descendants; and an apostle may not bring a sign except by God’s leave. There is a written ordinance for every time:
13:39
يَمْحُو اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ وَعِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ
*Mwenyezi Mungu hufuta na huthibitisha ayatakayo. Na asili ya hukumu zote iko kwake.
*God effaces and confirms whatever He wishes and with Him is the Mother Book.
13:40
وَإِنْ مَا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ وَعَلَيْنَا الْحِسَابُ
*Na ikiwa tukikuonyesha baadhi ya tuliyo waahidi au tukakufisha kabla yake, juu yako wewe ni kufikisha ujumbe na juu yetu ni hisabu.
*Whether We show you some of what We promise them, or take you away [before that], your duty is only to communicate, and it is for Us to do the reckoning.
13:41
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَأْتِي الْأَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
*Je! Hawakuona kwamba tunaifikia ardhi tukiipunguza nchani mwake? Na Mwenyezi Mungu huhukumu, na hapana wa kupinga hukumu yake, naye ni Mwepesi wa kuhisabu.
*Have they not seen how We visit the land diminishing it at its edges? God judges, and there is none who may repeal His judgement, and He is swift at reckoning.
13:42
وَقَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلَّهِ الْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الْكُفَّارُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
*Na walipanga walio kuwa kabla yao, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye mipango yote. Yeye anajua inayo chuma kila nafsi. Na makafiri watajua ni ya nani nyumba ya mwisho Akhera!
*Those who were before them also schemed; yet all devising belongs to God. He knows what every soul earns. Soon the faithless will know in whose favour the outcome of that abode will be.
13:43
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا ۚ قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتَابِ
*Na walio kufuru wanasema: Wewe hukutumwa. Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu anatosha kuwa shahidi baina yangu na nyinyi, na pia yule mwenye ilimu ya Kitabu.
*The faithless say, ‘You have not been sent by God.’ Say, ‘God suffices as a witness between me and you, and he who possesses the knowledge of the Boo
