Sura 15 - Al-Hijr

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
15:1
الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُبِينٍ
*Alif Lam Ra. (A.L.R). Hizi ni Aya za Kitabu na Qur´ani inayo bainisha.
*Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the signs of the Book and a manifest Quran.
15:2
رُبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
*HUENDA ikawa walio kufuru wakatamani wange kuwa Waislamu.
*Much will the faithless wish that they had been Muslims.
15:3
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Waache wale, na wastarehe, na iwazuge tamaa. Watakuja jua.
*Leave them to eat and enjoy and to be diverted by longings. Soon they will know.
15:4
وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَعْلُومٌ
*Na hatukuuangamiza mji wowote ule ila ulikuwa na muda wake maalumu.
*We did not destroy any town but that it had a known term.
15:5
مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
*Hawawezi watu wowote kuitangulia ajali yao, wala kuchelewa.
*No nation can advance its time nor can it defer it.
15:6
وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
*Na walisema: Ewe uliyeteremshiwa Ukumbusho! Hakika wewe ni mwendawazimu.
*They said, ‘O you, to whom the Reminder has been sent down, you are indeed crazy.
15:7
لَوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
*Mbona hutuletei Malaika ikiwa wewe ni miongoni mwa wasemao kweli?
*Why do you not bring us the angels should you be truthful?!’
15:8
مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُنْظَرِينَ
*Sisi hatuwateremshi Malaika ila kwa sababu ya haki, na hapo hawatapewa muhula.
*We do not send down the angels except with due reason, and then they will not be granted any respite.
15:9
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
*Hakika Sisi ndio tulio teremsha Ukumbusho huu, na hakika Sisi ndio tutao ulinda.
*Indeed We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed We will preserve it.
15:10
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Na hakika tulikwisha watumia Mitume mataifa ya mwanzo.
*Certainly We sent [apostles] before you to former communities,
15:11
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
*Na hakuwafikia Mtume ila walimkejeli.
*and there did not come to them any apostle but that they used to deride him.
15:12
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
*Na kama hivi ndivyo tunavyo ingiza katika nyoyo za wakosefu.
*That is how We let it pass through the hearts of the guilty:
15:13
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Hawayaamini haya, na hali ya kuwa umekwisha wapitia mfano wa watu wa kale.
*they do not believe in it, and the precedent of the ancients has already passed.
15:14
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَابًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
*Na lau tungeli wafungulia mlango wa mbingu, wakawa wanapanda,
*Were We to open for them a gate of the sky, so that they could go on ascending through it,
15:15
لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَسْحُورُونَ
*Basi wangeli sema: Macho yetu yamelevywa, bali sisi wenyewe tumerogwa.
*they would surely say, ‘Indeed a spell has been cast on our eyes; indeed, we are a bewitched lot.’
15:16
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
*Na hakika tumeweka katika mbingu vituo vya sayari, na tumezipamba kwa wenye kuangalia.
*Certainly We have appointed houses in the sky and adorned them for the onlookers,
15:17
وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ
*Na tumezilinda na kila shetani afukuzwaye.
*and We have guarded them from every outcast Satan,
15:18
إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُبِينٌ
*Isipo kuwa mwenye kusikiliza kwa kuibia, naye hufuatwa na kijinga cha moto kinacho onekana.
*except someone who may eavesdrop, whereat there pursues him a manifest flame.
15:19
وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَوْزُونٍ
*Na ardhi tumeitandaza na humo tumeweka milima, na tumeotesha kila kitu kwa kiasi chake.
*And We spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and We grew in it every kind of balanced thing,
15:20
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَنْ لَسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
*Na tumekujaalieni humo vitu vya maisha yenu, na ya hao ambao nyinyi sio wenye kuwaruzuku.
*and made in it [various] means of livelihood for you and for those whom you do not provide for.
15:21
وَإِنْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِنْدَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ
*Na hakuna chochote ila asili yake inatokana na Sisi; wala hatukiteremshi ila kwa kipimo maalumu.
*There is not a thing but that its sources are with Us, and We do not send it down except in a known measure.
15:22
وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
*Na tunazipeleka pepo za kupandishia, na tunateremsha kutoka mbinguni maji, kisha tukakunywesheni maji hayo. Wala si nyinyi mnayo yaweka.
*And We send the fertilizing winds and send down water from the sky providing it for you to drink and you are not maintainers of its resources.
15:23
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
*Na Sisi ndio tunao huisha na tunao fisha. Na Sisi ndio Warithi.
*Indeed it is We who give life and bring death and We are the inheritors.
15:24
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
*Na tunawajua walio tangulia katika nyinyi, na tunawajua walio taakhari.
*Certainly We know the predecessors among you and certainly We know the successors,
15:25
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na hakika Mola wako Mlezi ndiye atakaye wakusanya. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye hikima na Mjuzi.
*and indeed it is your Lord who will resurrect them. Indeed, He is all-wise, all-knowing.
15:26
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ مِنْ حَمَإٍ مَسْنُونٍ
*Na tulimuumba mtu kwa udongo unao toa sauti, unao tokana na matope yaliyo tiwa sura.
*Certainly We created man out of a dry clay [drawn] from an aging mud,
15:27
وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ مِنْ نَارِ السَّمُومِ
*Na majini tuliwaumba kabla kwa moto wa upepo umoto.
*and We created the jinn earlier, out of a piercing fire.
15:28
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ مِنْ حَمَإٍ مَسْنُونٍ
*Na Mola wako Mlezi alipo waambia Malaika: Hakika Mimi nitamuumba mtu kwa udongo unao toa sauti, unao tokana na matope yaliyo tiwa sura.
*When your Lord said to the angels, ‘Indeed I am going to create a human out of a dry clay [drawn] from an aging mud.
15:29
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
*Basi nitakapo mkamilisha na nikampulizia roho yangu, basi mumwangukie kumsujudia.
*So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down in prostration before him.’
15:30
فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
*Basi Malaika wote pamoja walimsujudia,
*Thereat the angels prostrated, all of them together,
15:31
إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
*Isipo kuwa Iblisi. Yeye alikataa kuwa pamoja na walio sujudu.
*but not Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated.
15:32
قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
*(Mwenyezi Mungu) akasema: Ewe Iblisi! Una nini hata hukuwa pamoja na walio sujudu?
*He said, ‘O Iblis! What kept you from being among those who have prostrated?’
15:33
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُنْ لِأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ مِنْ حَمَإٍ مَسْنُونٍ
*Akasema: Haiwi mimi nimsujudie mtu uliye muumba kwa udongo unao toa sauti, unao tokana na matope yenye sura.
*Said he, ‘I will not prostrate before a human whom You have created out of a dry clay [drawn] from an aging mud.’
15:34
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
*(Mwenyezi Mungu) akasema: Basi toka humo, kwani hakika wewe ni maluuni!
*He said, ‘Begone hence, for you are indeed an outcast,
15:35
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
*Na hakika juu yako ipo laana mpaka Siku ya Malipo.
*and indeed the curse shall lie on you until the Day of Retribution.’
15:36
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنْظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
*Akasema (Iblisi): Mola wangu Mlezi! Nipe muhula mpaka siku watapo fufuliwa.
*He said, ‘My Lord! Respite me till the day they will be resurrected.’
15:37
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنْظَرِينَ
*(Mwenyezi Mungu) akasema: Hakika wewe ni katika walio pewa muhula
*Said He, ‘You are indeed among the reprieved
15:38
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ
*Mpaka siku ya wakati maalumu.
*until the day of the known time.’
15:39
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Ilivyo kuwa umenitia makosani, basi nahakikisha nitawazaini hapa duniani na nitawapoteza wote,
*He said, ‘My Lord! As You have consigned me to perversity, I will surely glamorize [evil] for them on the earth, and I will surely pervert them, all
15:40
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
*Ila waja wako walio safika.
*except Your dedicated servants among them.’
15:41
قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
*Akasema: Hii Njia ya kujia kwangu Iliyo Nyooka.
*He said, ‘This is the path [leading] straight to Me.
15:42
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ
*Hakika waja wangu, wewe hutakuwa na mamlaka juu yao, isipo kuwa wale wapotofu walio kufuata.
*Indeed, as for My servants you do not have any authority over them, except the perverse who follow you,
15:43
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Na bila shaka Jahannamu ndipo pahali pao walipo ahidiwa wote.
*and indeed hell is the tryst of them all.
15:44
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِكُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَقْسُومٌ
*Ina milango saba; na kwa kila mlango iko sehemu walio tengewa.
*It has seven gates, and to each gate belongs a separate portion of them.’
15:45
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
*Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika Mabustani na chemchem.
*Indeed the Godwary will be amid gardens and springs.
15:46
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ
*(Wataambiwa:) Ingieni kwa salama na amani.
*‘‘Enter it in peace and safety!’’
15:47
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِمْ مِنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ
*Na tutaondoa chuki iliyo kuwamo vifuani mwao, wawe ndugu juu ya viti vya enzi wameelekeana.
*We will remove whatever rancour there is in their breasts; [intimate like] brothers, [they will be reclining] on couches, facing one another.
15:48
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُمْ مِنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
*Humo hayatawagusa machofu, wala hawatatolewa humo.
*Therein neither weariness shall touch them, nor will they [ever] be expelled from it.
15:49
نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
*Waambie waja wangu ya kwamba Mimi ndiye Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*Inform my servants that I am indeed the All-forgiving, the All-merciful,
15:50
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الْأَلِيمُ
*Na kwamba adhabu yangu ndio adhabu iliyo chungu!
*and that My punishment is a painful punishment.
15:51
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَنْ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
*Na uwape khabari za wageni wa Ibrahim.
*And inform them about the guests of Abraham,
15:52
إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنْكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
*Walipo ingia kwake na wakasema: Salama! Yeye akasema: Hakika sisi tunakuogopeni.
*when they entered into his presence and said, ‘Peace!’ He said, ‘We are indeed afraid of you.’
15:53
قَالُوا لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِيمٍ
*Wakasema: Usiogope. Sisi tunakubashiria kijana mwenye ujuzi.
*They said, ‘Do not be afraid. Indeed we give you the good news of a wise son.’
15:54
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَىٰ أَنْ مَسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
*Akasema: Mnanibashiria nami uzee umenishika! Basi kwa njia gani mnanibashiria?
*He said, ‘Do you give me good news though old age has befallen me? What is the good news that you bring me?’
15:55
قَالُوا بَشَّرْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْقَانِطِينَ
*Wakasema: Tunakubashiria kwa haki; basi usiwe miongoni mwa wanao kata tamaa.
*They said, ‘We bring you good news in truth; so do not be despondent.’
15:56
قَالَ وَمَنْ يَقْنَطُ مِنْ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلَّا الضَّالُّونَ
*Akasema: Na nani anaye kata tamaa na rehema ya Mola wake Mlezi ila wale walio potea?
*He said, ‘Who despairs of his Lord’s mercy except the astray?!’
15:57
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
*Akasema: Hebu nini amri yenu, enyi wajumbe?
*He said, ‘O messengers, what is now your errand?’
15:58
قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُجْرِمِينَ
*Wakasema: Hakika sisi tumetumwa kwa kaumu ya wakosefu!
*They said, ‘We have been sent toward a guilty people,
15:59
إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Isipo kuwa walio mfuata Luut´i. Bila ya shaka sisi tutawaokoa hao wote.
*[who shall perish] except the family of Lot. We will indeed deliver all of them,
15:60
إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا ۙ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
*Ila mkewe. Tunakadiria huyo atakuwa miongoni watao bakia nyuma.
*except his wife, [who], We have ordained, will indeed be among those who remain behind.’
15:61
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ آلَ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
*Basi wale wajumbe walipo fika kwa Luut´i,
*So when the messengers came to Lot’s family,
15:62
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُنْكَرُونَ
*Alisema (Luut´i): Hakika nyinyi ni watu msio juulikana.
*he said, ‘You are indeed strangers [to me].’
15:63
قَالُوا بَلْ جِئْنَاكَ بِمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
*Wakasema: Bali sisi tumekuletea yale waliyo kuwa wakiyafanyia shaka.
*They said, ‘Indeed, we bring you what they used to doubt.
15:64
وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
*Na tumefika kwako kwa Haki, na hakika sisi tunasema kweli.
*We bring you the truth, and indeed, we speak truly.
15:65
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُوا حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
*Basi ondoka na ahli zako usiku ungalipo, nawe ufuate nyuma yao, wala yeyote kati yenu asigeuke nyuma. Na mwende mnapo amrishwa.
*Take your family in a watch of the night; and follow in their rear, and none of you should turn round, and proceed as you are bidden.’
15:66
وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ الْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُصْبِحِينَ
*Na tukamfunulia hukumu hiyo, ya kwamba hata wa mwisho wao hao ikifika asubuhi atakuwa kesha katiliwa mbali.
*We apprised him of the matter that these will be rooted out by dawn.
15:67
وَجَاءَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
*Na wakaja watu wa mji ule nao furahani.
*The people of the city came, rejoicing.
15:68
قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ضَيْفِي فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ
*Akasema: Hakika hawa wageni wangu, basi msinifedheheshe.
*He said, ‘These are indeed my guests. Do not bring dishonour on me.
15:69
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ
*Na mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu, wala msinihizi.
*Be wary of Allah and do not humiliate me.’
15:70
قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Wakasema: Sisi hatukukukataza usimkaribishe yeyote?
*They said, ‘Did we not forbid you from [defending ] strangers?’
15:71
قَالَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ بَنَاتِي إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ
*Akasema: Hawa binti zangu, ikiwa nyinyi ni watendaji.
*He said, ‘These are my daughters, [marry them] if you should do anything.’
15:72
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
*Naapa kwa umri wako! Hakika hao walikuwa katika ulevi wao, wakihangaika ovyo.
*By your life, they were bewildered in their drunkenness.
15:73
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
*Ukelele ukawatwaa wakipambaukiwa.
*So the Cry seized them at sunrise,
15:74
فَجَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ
*Na tukaigeuza nchi juu chini, na tukawanyeshea mvua ya mawe ya udongo wa Motoni.
*and We made its topmost part its nethermost, and rained on them stones of shale.
15:75
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
*Hakika katika hayo zipo ishara kwa waaguzi.
*There are indeed signs in that for the percipient.
15:76
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُقِيمٍ
*Na miji hii ipo kwenye njia inayo pitiwa.
*Indeed it is on a standing road,
15:77
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Hakika katika hayo ipo ishara kwa Waumini.
*and there is indeed a sign in that for the faithful.
15:78
وَإِنْ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ لَظَالِمِينَ
*Na hakika watu wa Kichakani walikuwa wenye kudhulumu.
*Indeed the inhabitants of Aykah were [also] wrongdoers.
15:79
فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُبِينٍ
*Kwa hivyo tukawaadhibu. Na nchi mbili hizi ziko kwenye njia ilio wazi.
*So We took vengeance on them, and indeed the two of them are on an open highway.
15:80
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَابُ الْحِجْرِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
*Na bila ya shaka wakaazi wa Hijr waliwakanusha Mitume.
*Certainly the inhabitants of Hijr denied the apostles.
15:81
وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
*Na tuliwapa ishara zetu, nao wakazipuuza.
*We had given them Our signs but they disregarded them.
15:82
وَكَانُوا يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ
*Nao walikuwa wakichonga majumba katika milima kwa amani.
*They used to hew out dwellings from mountains feeling secure.
15:83
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
*Basi ukelele ukawatwaa asubuhi.
*So the Cry seized them at dawn,
15:84
فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
*Hayakuwafaa waliyo kuwa wakiyachuma.
*and what they used to earn did not avail them.
15:85
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ ۖ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ
*Na hatukuziumba mbingu na ardhi na vilivyomo ndani yake ila kwa ajili ya Haki. Na hakika Kiyama kitafika. Basi samehe msamaha mzuri.
*We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them except with consummate wisdom, and indeed the Hour is bound to come. So forbear with a graceful forbearance.
15:86
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Hakika Mola wako Mlezi ndiye Muumbaji Mjuzi.
*Indeed your Lord is the All-creator, the All-knowing.
15:87
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ
*Na tumekupa Aya saba zinazo somwa mara kwa mara, na Qur´ani Tukufu.
*Certainly We have given you [the surah of] the seven oft-repeated verses and the great Quran.
15:88
لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Usivitumbulie macho yako vitu tulivyo waneemesha makundi fulani kati yao, wala usiwahuzunikie. Na wainamishie bawa lako (la huruma) Waumini.
*Do not extend your glance toward what We have provided to certain groups of them, and do not grieve for them, and lower your wing to the faithful,
15:89
وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ
*Na sema: Hakika mimi ni mwonyaji mwenye kubainisha.
*and say, ‘I am indeed a manifest warner [of punishment from God],’
15:90
كَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى الْمُقْتَسِمِينَ
*Kama hivyo tuliwateremshia walio gawa,
*like that We sent down upon those who split into bands,
15:91
الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ
*Ambao wakaifanya Qur´ani vipande vipande.
*who represented the Quran as magic.
15:92
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Basi Naapa kwa Mola wako Mlezi! Tutawahoji wote,
*By your Lord, We will question them all
15:93
عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Kwa waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*concerning what they used to do.
15:94
فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Basi wewe yatangaze uliyo amrishwa, na jitenge na washirikina.
*So proclaim what you have been commanded, and turn away from the polytheists.
15:95
إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ
*Hakika Sisi tunatosha kukukinga na wanao kejeli.
*Indeed We will suffice you against the deriders
15:96
الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Hao wanao fanya kuwa pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu yupo mungu mwingine. Basi, watakuja jua!
*—those who set up another deity besides Allah. Soon they will know!
15:97
وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
*Na Sisi tunajua kwa hakika kuwa wewe kifua chako kinaona dhiki kwa hayo wayasemayo.
*Certainly We know that you become upset because of what they say.
15:98
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُنْ مِنَ السَّاجِدِينَ
*Basi mtakase Mola wako Mlezi kwa kumhimidi, na uwe miongoni wanao msujudia.
*So celebrate the praise of your Lord and be among those who prostrate,
15:99
وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ
*Na muabudu Mola wako Mlezi mpaka ikufikie Yakini.
*and worship your Lord until certainty comes to you.
