Sura 44 - Ad-Dukhaan

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
44:1
حم
*H´a Mim
*Ha, Meem.
44:2
وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
*Naapa kwa Kitabu kinacho bainisha,
*By the Manifest Book!
44:3
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنْذِرِينَ
*Hakika tumekiteremsha katika usiku ulio barikiwa. Hakika Sisi ni Waonyaji.
*We sent it down on a blessed night, and We have been warning [mankind].
44:4
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
*Katika usiku huu hubainishwa kila jambo la hikima,
*Every definitive matter is resolved on it,
44:5
أَمْرًا مِنْ عِنْدِنَا ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
*Jambo litokalo kwetu. Hakika Sisi ndio wenye kutuma.
*as an ordinance from Us. We have been sending [apostles]
44:6
رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Ni rehema itokayo kwa Mola wako Mlezi. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusikia Mwenye kujua.
*as a mercy from your Lord—indeed He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing—
44:7
رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُوقِنِينَ
*Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi na vilio baina yao, ikiwa nyinyi mna yakini.
*the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, should you have conviction.
44:8
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Hakuna mungu ila Yeye; anahuisha na anafisha- Mola Mlezi wenu na Mola Mlezi wa baba zenu wa mwanzo.
*There is no god except Him: He gives life and brings death, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.
44:9
بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ
*Lakini wao wanacheza katika shaka.
*But they play around in doubt.
44:10
فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُبِينٍ
*Basi ingoje siku ambayo mbingu zitakapo leta moshi ulio dhaahiri,
*So watch out for the day when the sky brings on a manifest smoke,
44:11
يَغْشَى النَّاسَ ۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Utakao wafunika watu: Hii ni adhabu chungu!
*enveloping the people. [They will cry out:] ‘This is a painful punishment.
44:12
رَبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا الْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Tuondolee adhabu hii. Hakika tutaamini.
*Our Lord! Remove this punishment from us. Indeed we have believed!’
44:13
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُبِينٌ
*Nini faida ya kukumbuka kwao? Na alikwisha wafikia Mtume mwenye kubainisha.
*What will the admonition avail them, when a manifest apostle had already come to them,
44:14
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَجْنُونٌ
*Na wao wakamgeuzia uso, na wakasema: Huyu amefunzwa, naye ni mwendawazimu.
*but they turned away from him, and said, ‘A tutored madman?’
44:15
إِنَّا كَاشِفُو الْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَائِدُونَ
*Hakika sisi tutaiondoa adhabu kidogo, lakini nyinyi kwa yakini mtarejea vile vile!
*Indeed We will withdraw the punishment a little; but you will revert [to your earlier ways].
44:16
يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ الْبَطْشَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ إِنَّا مُنْتَقِمُونَ
*Siku tutayo yashambulia mashambulio makubwa, bila ya shaka Sisi ni wenye kutesa.
*The day We shall strike with the most terrible striking, We will indeed take vengeance [on them].
44:17
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
*Na hakika kabla ya hawa tuliwafanyia mtihani watu wa Firauni, na aliwafikia Mtume Mtukufu.
*Certainly We tried the people of Pharaoh before them, when a noble apostle came to them,
44:18
أَنْ أَدُّوا إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
*Akasema: Nipeni waja wa Mwenyezi Mungu; kwa hakika mimi kwenu ni Mtume Muaminifu.
*[saying,] ‘Give over the servants of Allah to me; indeed I am a trusted apostle [sent] to you.
44:19
وَأَنْ لَا تَعْلُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي آتِيكُمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
*Na msimfanyie kiburi Mwenyezi Mungu; hakika mimi nitakuleteeni uthibitisho ulio wazi.
*Do not defy Allah. Indeed I bring you a manifest authority.
44:20
وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَنْ تَرْجُمُونِ
*Nami najikinga kwa Mola wangu Mlezi na ndiye Mola wenu Mlezi pia, ili msinipige mawe.
*I seek the protection of my Lord and your Lord, lest you should stone me.
44:21
وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا لِي فَاعْتَزِلُونِ
*Na ikiwa hamniamini, basi jitengeni nami.
*And if you do not believe me, keep out of my way.’
44:22
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ مُجْرِمُونَ
*Ndipo akamwomba Mola wake Mlezi: Hakika watu hawa ni wakosefu.
*Then he invoked his Lord, [saying,] ‘These are indeed a guilty lot.’
44:23
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيْلًا إِنَّكُمْ مُتَّبَعُونَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu akasema: Basi nenda na waja wangu usiku. Kwa yakini mtafuatwa.
*[Allah told him,] ‘Set out by night with My servants; for you will be pursued.
44:24
وَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُغْرَقُونَ
*Na iache bahari vivyo hivyo imeachana, hakika wao hao ni jeshi litakalo zamishwa.
*Leave behind the sea unmoving; for they will be a drowned host.’
44:25
كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِنْ جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
*Mabustani mangapi, na chemchem ngapi waliziacha!
*How many gardens and springs did they leave behind!
44:26
وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
*Na mimea na vyeo vitukufu!
*Fields and splendid places,
44:27
وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ
*Na neema walizo kuwa wakijistareheshea!
*and the affluence wherein they rejoiced!
44:28
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
*Ndio hivyo! Na tukawarithisha haya watu wenginewe.
*So it was; and We bequeathed them to another people.
44:29
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْظَرِينَ
*La mbingu wala ardhi hazikuwalilia, wala hawakupewa muhula.
*So neither the sky wept for them, nor the earth; nor were they granted any respite.
44:30
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ
*Na bila ya shaka tuliwaokoa Wana wa Israili katika adhabu ya kuwadhalilisha,
*Certainly We delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment
44:31
مِنْ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
*Ya Firauni. Hakika yeye alikuwa jeuri katika wenye kupindukia mipaka.
*of Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a tyrant among the transgressors.
44:32
وَلَقَدِ اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na tuliwakhiari kwa ujuzi wetu kuliko walimwengu wenginewe.
*Certainly We chose them knowingly above all the nations,
44:33
وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَاءٌ مُبِينٌ
*Na tukawapa katika ishara zenye majaribio yaliyo wazi.
*and We gave them some signs in which there was a manifest test.
44:34
إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
*Hakika hawa wanasema:
*These ones say,
44:35
إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا الْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنْشَرِينَ
*Hapana ila kufa kwetu mara ya kwanza tu, wala sisi hatufufuliwi.
*‘It will be only our first death, and we shall not be resurrected.
44:36
فَأْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Basi warudisheni baba zetu, ikiwa nyinyi mnasema kweli.
*Bring our fathers back [to life], if you are truthful.’
44:37
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ
*Je! Ni wao bora au watu wa Tubbaa´ na walio kuwa kabla yao? Tuliwaangamiza. Hakika hao walikuwa wakosefu.
*Are they better, or the people of Tubba‘, and those who were before them? We destroyed them; indeed, they were guilty.
44:38
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ
*Na hatukuziumba mbingu na ardhi na vilivyomo baina yake kwa mchezo.
*We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them for play.
44:39
مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
*Hatukuviumba hivyo ila kwa Haki, lakini wengi wao hawajui.
*We did not create them except with consummate wisdom; but most of them do not know.
44:40
إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ مِيقَاتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Hakika siku ya Uamuzi ni wakati ulio wekwa kwa wao wote.
*Indeed the Day of Judgement is the tryst for them all,
44:41
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي مَوْلًى عَنْ مَوْلًى شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
*Siku ambayo rafiki hatamfaa rafiki yake kwa chochote, wala hawatanusuriwa.
*the day when a friend will not avail a friend in any way, nor will they be helped,
44:42
إِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
*Isipo kuwa atakaye mrehemu Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Yeye ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kurehemu.
*except for him on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed He is the All-mighty, the All-merciful.
44:43
إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ الزَّقُّومِ
*Hakika Mti wa Zaqqum,
*Indeed the tree of Zaqqum
44:44
طَعَامُ الْأَثِيمِ
*Ni chakula cha mwenye dhambi.
*will be the food of the sinful.
44:45
كَالْمُهْلِ يَغْلِي فِي الْبُطُونِ
*Kama shaba iliyo yayushwa, hutokota matumboni
*Like molten copper it will boil in their bellies,
44:46
كَغَلْيِ الْحَمِيمِ
*Kama kutokota kwa maji ya moto.
*seething like boiling water.
44:47
خُذُوهُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
*(Itasemwa:) Mkamateni na mtupeni katikati ya Jahannamu!
*[The keepers of hell will be told,] ‘Seize him and drag him to the middle of hell,
44:48
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَمِيمِ
*Kisha mmwagieni juu ya kichwa chake adhabu ya maji yanayo chemka.
*then pour over his head boiling water as punishment,
44:49
ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْكَرِيمُ
*Onja! Ati wewe ndiye mwenye nguvu, mtukufu!
*[and tell them,] “Taste this! Indeed you are the [self-styled] mighty and noble!
44:50
إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَمْتَرُونَ
*Hakika haya ndiyo mliyo kuwa mkiyatilia shaka.
*This is what you used to doubt!’
44:51
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
*Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika mahali pa amani,
*Indeed the Godwary will be in a safe place,
44:52
فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
*Katika mabustani na chemchem,
*amid gardens and springs,
44:53
يَلْبَسُونَ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ
*Watavaa hariri nyepesi na hariri nzito wakikabiliana,
*dressed in fine silk and brocade, sitting face to face.
44:54
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
*Hivi ndivyo itakavyo kuwa, na tutawaoza mahurilaini.
*So shall it be, and We shall wed them to black-eyed houris.
44:55
يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ آمِنِينَ
*Humo watataka kila aina ya matunda, na wakae kwa amani.
*Secure [from any kind of harm,] there they will call for every kind of fruit [they wish].
44:56
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا الْمَوْتَ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَةَ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَاهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
*Humo hawataonja mauti ila mauti yale ya kwanza, na (Mwenyezi Mungu) atawalinda na adhabu ya Jahannamu,
*Other than the first death, they will not taste death therein, and He will save them from the punishment of hell
44:57
فَضْلًا مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
*Kuwa ni fadhila zitokazo kwa Mola wako Mlezi. Huko ndiko kufuzu kukubwa.
*—a grace from your Lord. That is the great success.
44:58
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
*Basi tumeifanya nyepesi hii Qur´ani kwa ulimi wako, ili wapate kukumbuka.
*Indeed We have made it simple in your language, so that they may take admonition.
44:59
فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُمْ مُرْتَقِبُونَ
*Ngoja tu, na wao wangoje pia.
*So wait! They [too] are waiting.
