Sura 75 - Al-Qiyaamah

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
75:1
لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
*Ninaapa kwa Siku ya Kiyama!
*I swear by the Day of Resurrection!
75:2
وَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ
*Na ninaapa kwa nafsi inayo jilaumu!
*And I swear by the self-critical soul!
75:3
أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
*Anadhani mtu kuwa Sisi hatutaikusanya mifupa yake?
*Does man suppose that We will not put together his bones [at resurrection]?
75:4
بَلَىٰ قَادِرِينَ عَلَىٰ أَنْ نُسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
*Kwani! Sisi tunaweza hata kuziweka sawa sawa ncha za vidole vyake!
*Yes indeed, We are able to [re]shape [even] his fingertips!
75:5
بَلْ يُرِيدُ الْإِنْسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ
*Lakini mtu anataka tu kuendelea na maasi kwa siku zilioko mbele yake.
*Indeed, man desires to go on living viciously.
75:6
يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ
*Anauliza: Lini itakuwa hiyo Siku ya Kiyama?
*He asks, ‘When will be this “day of resurrection”?!’
75:7
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ
*Basi jicho litapo dawaa,
*But when the eyes are dazzled,
75:8
وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ
*Na mwezi utapo patwa,
*the moon is eclipsed,
75:9
وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ
*Na likakusanywa jua na mwezi,
*and the sun and the moon are brought together,
75:10
يَقُولُ الْإِنْسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ
*Siku hiyo mtu atasema: Yako wapi makimbilio?
*that day man will say, ‘Where is the escape [from this day]?’
75:11
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ
*La! Hapana pa kukimbilia!
*No indeed! There will be no refuge!
75:12
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ
*Siku hiyo pa kutua ni kwa Mola wako Mlezi tu.
*That day the [final] goal will be toward your Lord.
75:13
يُنَبَّأُ الْإِنْسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
*Siku hiyo ataambiwa aliyo yatanguliza na aliyo yaakhirisha.
*That day man will be informed about what [works] he had sent ahead [to the scene of judgement] and [the legacy that he had] left behind.
75:14
بَلِ الْإِنْسَانُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ
*Bali mtu ni hoja juu ya nafsi yake.
*Indeed, man is a witness to himself,
75:15
وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُ
*Na ingawa atatoa chungu ya udhuru.
*though he should offer excuses [to justify his failings].
75:16
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ
*Usiutikisie huu wahyi ulimi wako kwa kuufanyia haraka.
*Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it.
75:17
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ
*Hakika ni juu yetu kuukusanya na kuusomesha.
*Indeed it is up to Us to put it together and to recite it.
75:18
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ
*Tunapo usoma, basi nawe fuatiliza kusoma kwake.
*And when We have recited it, follow its recitation.
75:19
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ
*Kisha ni juu yetu kuubainisha.
*Then, its exposition [also] lies with Us.
75:20
كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ
*Hasha! Bali nyinyi mnapenda maisha ya duniani,
*No! Indeed, you love this transitory life
75:21
وَتَذَرُونَ الْآخِرَةَ
*Na mnaacha maisha ya Akhera.
*and forsake the Hereafter.
75:22
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاضِرَةٌ
*Zipo nyuso siku hiyo zitao ng´ara,
*Some faces will be fresh on that day,
75:23
إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
*Zinamwangallia Mola wao Mlezi.
*looking to their Lord,
75:24
وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ
*Na zipo nyuso siku hiyo zitakao kunjana.
*and some faces will be scowling on that day,
75:25
تَظُنُّ أَنْ يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ
*Zitajua ya kuwa zitafikiwa na livunjalo uti wa mgongo.
*knowing that they will be dealt out a punishment breaking the spine.
75:26
كَلَّا إِذَا بَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَ
*La, hasha! (Roho) itakapo fikia kwenye mafupa ya koo,
*No indeed! When it reaches up to the collar bones
75:27
وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍ
*Na pakasemwa: Nani wa kumganga?
*and it is said, ‘Who will take him up?’
75:28
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ
*Na mwenyewe akajua kwa hakika kuwa huko ndiko kufariki;
*and he knows that it is the [time of] parting,
75:29
وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ
*Na utapo ambatishwa muundi kwa muundi,
*and each shank clasps the other shank,
75:30
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ
*Siku hiyo ndiyo kuchungwa kupelekwa kwa Mola wako Mlezi!
*that day he shall be driven toward your Lord.
75:31
فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ
*Kwa sababu hakusadiki, wala hakusali.
*He neither confirmed [the messages of Allah], nor did he pray,
75:32
وَلَٰكِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
*Bali alikanusha, na akageuka.
*but denied [them] and turned away,
75:33
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّىٰ
*Kisha akenda kwa ahali zake kwa matao.
*and went back swaggering to his family.
75:34
أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ
*Ole wako, ole wako!
*So, woe to you! Woe to you!
75:35
ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ
*Kisha Ole wako, ole wako!
*Again, woe to you! Woe to you!
75:36
أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنْ يُتْرَكَ سُدًى
*Ati anadhani binaadamu kuwa ataachwa bure?
*Does man suppose that he has been abandoned to futility?
75:37
أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِنْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَىٰ
*Kwani hakuwa yeye tone ya manii lilio shushwa?
*Was he not a drop of emitted semen,
75:38
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
*Kisha akawa kidonge cha damu, tena Mwenyezi Mungu akamuumba na akamtengeneza vilivyo.
*and then a clinging mass? Whereat He created and proportioned [him],
75:39
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنْثَىٰ
*Kisha akamfanya namna mbili, mwanamume na mwanamke.
*and made of him the two sexes, male and female.
75:40
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ
*Je! Huyo hakuwa ni Muweza wa kufufua wafu?
*Is not [someone like] that able to revive the dead?
