بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu. |

3:1
الم
*Alif Laam Miim.
*Alif, Lām, Mīm.
|
|
3:2
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
*Mwenyezi Mungu, hakuna mungu ila Yeye Aliye Hai, Msimamizi wa yote milele.
*God—there is no god except Him— is the Living One, the All-sustainer.

3:3
نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ
*Amekuteremshia Kitabu kwa haki, kinacho sadikisha yaliyo kuwa kabla yake. Na aliteremsha Taurati na Injili
*He has sent down to you the Book with the truth confirming what was revealed before it, and He had sent down the Torah and the Evangel

3:4
مِنْ قَبْلُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَأَنْزَلَ الْفُرْقَانَ ۗ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ
*Kabla yake, ziwe uwongofu kwa watu. Na akateremsha Furqani (Upambanuo). Hakika walio zikanusha Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu watakuwa na adhabu kali. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye kulipa.
*before as guidance for mankind, and He has sent down the Criterion. Indeed, those who deny the signs of God, there is a severe punishment for them; and God is all-mighty, avenger.

3:5
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hakifichiki chochote kwake, duniani wala mbinguni.
*Nothing is indeed hidden from God in the earth or in the sky.

3:6
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
*Yeye ndiye anaye kuundeni ndani ya matumbo ya wazazi kwa namna apendayo. Hapana mungu ila Yeye, Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hikima.
*It is He who forms you in the wombs of your mothers however He wishes. There is no god except Him, the All-mighty, the All-wise.

3:7
هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ ۖ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ ۗ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
*Yeye ndiye aliye kuteremshia Kitabu hichi. Ndani yake zimo Aya muhkam, zenye maana wazi. Hizo ndizo msingi wa Kitabu hichi. Na ziko nyengine za mifano. Ama wale ambao nyoyoni mwao umo upotovu wanafuata zile za mifano kwa kutafuta fitna, na kutafuta maana yake; na wala hapana ajuaye maana yake ila Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wale wenye msingi madhubuti katika ilimu husema: Sisi tumeziamini, zote zimetoka kwa Mola wetu Mlezi. Lakini hawakumbuki hayo isipo kuwa wenye akili.
*It is He who has sent down to you the Book. Parts of it are definitive verses, which are the mother of the Book, while others are ambiguous. As for those in whose hearts is deviance, they pursue what is ambiguous in it, pursuing misguidance and aiming at its misinterpretation. But no one knows its interpretation except God and those firmly grounded in knowledge; they say, ‘We believe in it; all of it is from our Lord.’ Only those who possess intellect take admonition.

3:8
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
*(Na hao husema): Mola wetu Mlezi! Usizipotoe nyoyo zetu baada ya kwisha tuongoa, na utupe rehema itokayo kwako. Hakika Wewe ndiye Mpaji.
*[They say,] ‘Our Lord! Do not make our hearts swerve after You have guided us, and bestow Your mercy on us. Indeed, You are the All-munificent.

3:9
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Wewe ndiye Mkusanyaji wa watu kwa Siku isiyo na shaka ndani yake. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu havunji miadi yake.
*Our Lord! You will indeed gather mankind on a day in which there is no doubt. God indeed does not break His promise.’

3:10
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ
*Kwa hakika wale walio kufuru hazitowafaa kitu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu mali zao, wala watoto wao; nao hao ndio kuni za Motoni-
*As for the faithless, neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them anything against God; it is they who will be fuel for the Fire;

3:11
كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
*- Kama yaliyo wapata watu wa Firauni na wale walio kuwa kabla yao. Walikanusha Ishara zetu, basi Mwenyezi Mungu aliwashika kwa madhambi yao; na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mkali wa kuadhibu.
*as in the case of Pharaoh’s clan and those who were before them, who denied Our signs. So God seized them for their sins, and God is severe in retribution.

3:12
قُلْ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ
*Waambie walio kufuru: Karibuni mtashindwa na mtakusanywa, mtiwe kwenye Jahannam; nako huko ni makao mabaya kabisa.
*Say to the faithless, ‘You shall be overcome and gathered toward hell, and it is an evil resting place.’

3:13
قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا ۖ فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَأُخْرَىٰ كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُمْ مِثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِأُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ
*Hakika ilikuwa ni Ishara kwenu katika yale majeshi mawili yalipo pambana. Jeshi moja likipigana katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na jingine kafiri likiwaona zaidi kuliko wao mara mbili, kwa kuona kwa macho. Na Mwenyezi Mungu humuunga mkono amtakaye kwa nusura yake. Hakika katika hayo yapo mazingatio kwa wenye macho.
*There was certainly a sign for you in the two hosts that met: one host fighting in the way of God and the other faithless, who saw them as visibly twice as many. God strengthens whomever He wishes with His help. There is indeed a moral in that for those who have insight.

3:14
زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ
*Watu wamepambiwa kupenda matamanio ya wanawake, na wana, na mirundi ya dhahabu na fedha, na farasi asili, na mifugo, na mashamba. Hayo ni starehe ya maisha ya duniani; na kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndio kwenye marejeo mema.
*To mankind has been made to seem decorous the love of worldly allures, including women and children, accumulated piles of gold and silver, horses of mark, livestock and farms. Those are the wares of the life of this world; but goodness of one’s destination lies with God.

3:15
قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَاجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
*Sema: Nikwambieni yaliyo bora kuliko hayo? Kwa wachamngu ziko Bustani kwa Mola wao zipitazo mito kati yake. Watadumu humo, na wake walio takaswa, na wanazo radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuwaona waja wake,
*Say, ‘Shall I inform you of something better than that? For those who are Godwary there will be gardens near their Lord, with streams running in them, to remain in them, and chaste mates, and God’s pleasure.’ And God watches His servants.

3:16
الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
*Ambao husema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Hakika sisi tumeamini, basi tufutie madhambi yetu, na tuepushe na adhabu ya Moto,
*Those who say, ‘Our Lord! Indeed, we have faith. So forgive us our sins, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.’

3:17
الصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْمُنْفِقِينَ وَالْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ بِالْأَسْحَارِ
*Wanao subiri, wanao sema kweli, na wat´iifu, na wanao toa sadaka, na wanao omba maghafira kabla ya alfajiri.
*They are patient and truthful, obedient and charitable, and plead for God’s forgiveness at dawns.

3:18
شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَأُولُو الْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
*Mwenyezi Mungu, na Malaika, na wenye ilimu, wameshuhudia kuwa hakika hapana mungu ila Yeye, ndiye Mwenye kusimamisha uadilifu; hapana mungu ila Yeye Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hikima.
*God bears witness that there is no god except Him — and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge — maintainer of justice, there is no god except Him, the Almighty, the All-wise.

3:19
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
*Bila ya shaka Dini mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni Uislamu. Na walio pewa Kitabu hawakukhitalifiana ila baada ya kuwajia ujuzi, kwa sababu ya uhasidi ulio kuwa baina yao. Na anaye zikataa Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwepesi wa kuhisabu.
*Indeed, with God religion is Islām, and those who were given the Book did not differ except after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves. And whoever denies God’s signs should know that God is swift at reckoning.

3:20
فَإِنْ حَاجُّوكَ فَقُلْ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّهِ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِ ۗ وَقُلْ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْأُمِّيِّينَ أَأَسْلَمْتُمْ ۚ فَإِنْ أَسْلَمُوا فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا ۖ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
*Na pindi wakikuhoji, basi sema: Mimi nimeusalimisha uso wangu kumwelekea Mwenyezi Mungu, na kadhaalika walio nifuata. Na waambie walio pewa Kitabu na wasio na kisomo: Je! Mmesilimu? Wakisilimu basi wameongoka. Na wakikengeuka basi juu yako ni kufikisha ujumbe tu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuwaona waja wake.
*If they argue with you, say, ‘I have submitted my will to God, and so has he who follows me.’ And say to those who were given the Book and the uninstructed ones, ‘Do you submit?’ If they submit, they will certainly be guided; but if they turn away, your duty is only to communicate, and God watches His servants.

3:21
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الَّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْقِسْطِ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
*Hakika wanao zikataa Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu, na wakawauwa Manabii pasipo haki, na wakawauwa watu waamrishao Haki wabashirie adhabu kali.
*Those who deny God’s signs and kill the prophets unjustly, and kill those who call for justice from among the people, inform them of a painful punishment.

3:22
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
*Hao ndio ambao vitendo vyao vimeharibika duniani na Akhera. Nao hawatapata wa kuwanusuru.
*They are the ones whose works have failed in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.

|
3:23
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ
*Huwaoni wale walio pewa sehemu ya Kitabu? Wanaitwa kukiendea Kitabu cha Mwenyezi Mungu ili kiwahukumu baina yao; kisha baadhi yao wanageuka wanakikataa.
*Have you not regarded those who were given a share of the Book, who are summoned to the Book of God in order that it may judge between them, whereat a part of them turn away and they are disregardful?

3:24
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَاتٍ ۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِي دِينِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
*Hayo ni kwa sababu walisema: Hautatugusa Moto isipo kuwa kwa siku chache tu. Na yakawadanganya katika dini yao yale ambayo wenyewe waliyo kuwa wakiyazua.
*That is because they say, ‘The Fire shall not touch us except for numbered days,’ and they have been misled in their religion by what they used to fabricate.

3:25
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
*Basi itakuwaje tutakapo wakusanya Siku ambayo haina shaka kuja kwake? Na kila nafsi italipwa kama ilivyo chuma, bila ya kudhulumiwa.
*But how will it be with them when We gather them on a day in which there is no doubt, and every soul shall be recompensed fully for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged?

3:26
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Sema: Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu uliye miliki ufalme wote! Wewe humpa ufalme umtakaye, na humwondolea ufalme umtakaye, na humtukuza umtakaye, na humuangusha umtakaye. Kheri yote iko mikononi mwako. Hakika Wewe ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
*Say, ‘O God, Master of all sovereignty! You give sovereignty to whomever You wish, and strip of sovereignty whomever You wish; You make mighty whomever You wish, and You degrade whomever You wish; all choice is in Your hand. Indeed, You have power over all things.

3:27
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
*Wewe huingiza usiku katika mchana, na huuingiza mchana katika usiku. Na humtoa hai kutokana na maiti, na humtoa maiti kutokana na aliye hai. Na unamruzuku umtakaye bila ya hisabu.
*You make the night pass into the day and You make the day pass into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living, and provide for whomever You wish without reckoning.’

3:28
لَا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا أَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ
*Waumini wasiwafanye makafiri kuwa wapenzi wao badala ya Waumini. Na anaye fanya hivyo, basi hatakuwa chochote mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Ila ikiwa kwa ajili ya kujilinda na shari zao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anakuhadharisheni naye. Na marejeo ni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*The faithful should not take the faithless for protectors and allies instead of the faithful, and whoever does that God will have nothing to do with him, except out of caution, when you are wary of them. God warns you to beware of disobeying Him, and toward God is the return.

3:29
قُلْ إِنْ تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Sema: Mkificha yaliyomo vifuani mwenu au mkiyafichua Mwenyezi Mungu anayajua; na anayajua yaliyomo mbinguni na yaliyomo duniani. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
*Say, ‘Whether you hide what is in your hearts, or disclose it, God knows it, and He knows whatever there is in the heavens and whatever there is in the earth; and God has power over all things.’

3:30
يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
*Siku ambayo kila nafsi itakuta mema iliyo yafanya yamehudhurishwa, na pia ubaya ilio ufanya. Itapenda nafsi lau kungekuwako masafa marefu baina ya ubaya huo na yeye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anakuhadharisheni naye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mpole kwa waja wake.
*The day when every soul will find present whatever good it has done; and as for the evil it has done, it will wish there were a far distance between it and itself. God warns you to beware of disobeying Him, and God is most kind to His servants.

3:31
قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Sema: Ikiwa nyinyi mnampenda Mwenyezi Mungu basi nifuateni mimi, Mwenyezi Mungu atakupendeni na atakufutieni madhambi yenu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kufuta madhambi na Mwenye kurehemu.
*Say, ‘If you love God, then follow me; God will love you and forgive you your sins, and God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’

3:32
قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ ۖ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ
*Sema: Mt´iini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume. Na wakigeuka basi Mwenyezi Mungu hawapendi makafiri.
*Say, ‘Obey God and the Apostle.’ But if they turn away, indeed God does not like the faithless.

3:33
إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu alimteuwa Adam na Nuhu na ukoo wa Ibrahim na ukoo wa Imran juu ya walimwengu wote.
*Indeed, God chose Adam and Noah, and the progeny of Abraham and the progeny of Imran above all the nations;

|
3:34
ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Ni wazao wao kwa wao; na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusikia na Mwenye kujua.
*some of them are descendants of the others, and God is all-hearing, all-knowing.

3:35
إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Alipo sema mke wa Imran: Mola wangu Mlezi! Nimekuwekea nadhiri kilichomo tumboni mwangu kuwa wakfu; basi nikubalie. Hakika Wewe ndiye Mwenye kusikia na Mwenye kujua.
*When the wife of Imran said, ‘My Lord, I dedicate to You what is in my belly, in consecration. Accept it from me; indeed You are the All-hearing, the All-knowing.’

3:36
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَىٰ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنْثَىٰ ۖ وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
*Basi alipo mzaa alisema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Nimemzaa mwanamke - na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua sana aliye mzaa - Na mwanamume si sawa na mwanamke. Na mimi nimemwita Maryamu. Nami namkinga kwako, yeye na uzao wake, uwalinde na Shet´ani aliye laaniwa.
*When she bore her, she said, ‘My Lord, I have borne a female child’ —and God knew better what she had borne, and the male was no match for the female— ‘and I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Your care against the evil of the outcast Satan.’

3:37
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقًا ۖ قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَا ۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
*Tena Mola wake Mlezi akampokea kwa mapokeo mema na akamkuza makuzo mema, na akamfanya Zakariya awe mlezi wake. Kila mara Zakariya alipo ingia chumbani kwake alimkuta na vyakula. Basi alimwambia: Ewe Maryamu! Unavipata wapi hivi? Naye akasema: Hivi vinatoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu; na Mwenyezi Mungu humruzuku amtakaye bila ya hisabu.
*Thereupon her Lord accepted her with a gracious acceptance, and made her grow up in a worthy fashion, and He charged Zechariah with her care. Whenever Zechariah visited her in the sanctuary, he would find provisions with her. He said, ‘O Mary, from where does this come for you?’ She said, ‘It comes from God. God provides whomever He wishes without reckoning.’

3:38
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
*Pale pale Zakariya akamwomba Mola wake Mlezi, akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Nipe kutoka kwako uzao mwema. Wewe ndiye unaye sikia maombi.
*Thereat Zechariah supplicated his Lord. He said, ‘My Lord! Grant me a good offspring from You! You indeed hear all supplications.’

3:39
فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
*Alipo kuwa kasimama chumbani akisali, Malaika kamnadia: Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anakubashiria Yahya, ataye kuwa mwenye kusadikisha neno litokalo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na ni bwana na mt´awa na Nabii kwa watu wema.
*Then the angels called out to him, as he stood praying in the sanctuary: ‘God gives you the good news of John, as a confirmer of a Word of God, eminent and chaste, a prophet and one of the righteous.’

3:40
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ
*Akasema Zakariya: Mola wangu Mlezi! Vipi nitapata mwana na hali ukongwe umenifikia, na mke wangu ni tasa? Akasema: Ndivyo vivyo hivyo, Mwenyezi Mungu hufanya apendavyo.
*He said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a son while old age has overtaken me and my wife is barren?’ Said He, ‘So it is that God does whatever He wishes.’

3:41
قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِي آيَةً ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا ۗ وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ
*Akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Niwekee alama. Akasema: Alama yako ni kuwa hutasema na watu kwa siku tatu, isipo kuwa kwa kuashiria tu. Na mdhukuru Mola Mlezi wako kwa wingi na mtakase jioni na asubuhi.
*He said, ‘My Lord, grant me a sign.’ Said He, ‘Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three days except in gestures. Remember your Lord much often, and glorify Him morning and evening.’

3:42
وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na angalia pale Malaika walipo sema: Ewe Maryamu! Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amekuteuwa, na akakutakasa, na akakutukuza kuliko wanawake wote.
*And when the angels said, ‘O Mary, God has chosen you and purified you, and He has chosen you above the world’s women.

|
3:43
يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ
*Ewe Maryamu! Mnyenyekee Mola Mlezi wako na usujudu na uiname pamoja na wainamao.
*O Mary, be obedient to your Lord, and prostrate and bow down with those who bow in worship.’

|
3:44
ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ ۚ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَامَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
*Hizi ni khabari za ghaibu tunazo kufunulia; nawe hukuwa nao walipo kuwa wakitupa kalamu zao nani wao atamlea Maryamu, na hukuwa nao walipo kuwa wakishindana.
*These accounts are from the Unseen, which We reveal to you, and you were not with them when they were casting lots to see which of them would take charge of Mary’s care, nor were you with them when they were contending.

3:45
إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
*Na pale Malaika walipo sema: Ewe Maryamu! Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anakubashiria (mwana) kwa neno litokalo kwake. Jina lake ni Masihi Isa mwana wa Maryamu, mwenye hishima katika dunia na Akhera, na miongoni mwa walio karibishwa (kwa Mwenyezi Mungu).
*When the angels said, ‘O Mary, God gives you the good news of a Word from Him whose name is Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, distinguished in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to God.

|
3:46
وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
*Naye atazungumza na watu katika utoto wake na katika utuuzima wake, na atakuwa katika watu wema.
*He will speak to the people in the cradle and in adulthood, and will be one of the righteous.’

|
3:47
قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ اللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
*Maryamu akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Vipi nitampata mwana na hali hajanigusa mwanaadamu? Mwenyezi Mungu akasema: Ndivyo vivyo hivyo, Mwenyezi Mungu huumba apendacho. Anapo hukumu jambo, huliambia: Kuwa! Likawa.
*She said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a child seeing that no human has ever touched me?’ He said, ‘So it is that God creates whatever He wishes. When He decides on a matter He just says to it ‘‘Be!’’ and it is.

3:48
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ
*Na atamfunza kuandika na Hikima na Taurati na Injili.
*He will teach him the Book and wisdom, the Torah and the Evangel,

|
3:49
وَرَسُولًا إِلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنْفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
*Na ni Mtume kwa Wana wa Israili kuwaambia: Mimi nimekujieni na Ishara kutoka kwa Mola Mlezi wenu, ya kwamba nakuundieni kwa udongo kama sura ya ndege. Kisha nampuliza anakuwa ndege kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na ninawaponesha vipofu wa tangu kuzaliwa na wakoma, na ninawafufua maiti kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na ninakwambieni mnacho kila na mnacho weka akiba katika nyumba zenu. Hakika katika haya ipo Ishara kwenu ikiwi nyinyi ni wenye kuamini.
*and he will be an apostle to the Children of Israel, [and he will declare,] ‘I have certainly brought you a sign from your Lord: I will create for you out of clay the form of a bird, then I will breathe into it, and it will become a bird by God’s leave. I heal the blind and the leper and I revive the dead by God’s leave. I will tell you what you have eaten and what you have stored in your houses. There is indeed a sign in that for you, should you be faithful.

3:50
وَمُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
*Na ninasadikisha yaliyo kuwa kabla yangu katika Taurati, na ili nikuhalalishieni baadhi ya yale mlio harimishiwa, na nimekujieni na Ishara kutokana na Mola Mlezi wenu. Kwa hivyo mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu na nit´iini mimi.
*[I come] to confirm the truth of that which is before me of the Torah, and to make lawful for you some of the things that were forbidden you. I have brought you a sign from your Lord; so be wary of God and obey me.

|
3:51
إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۗ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mola wangu Mlezi na ni Mola wenu Mlezi. Basi muabudni Yeye. Hii ndiyo Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*God is indeed my Lord and your Lord; so worship Him. This is a straight path.’

3:52
فَلَمَّا أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنْهُمُ الْكُفْرَ قَالَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنْصَارُ اللَّهِ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ
*Isa alipo hisi kuwa kati yao pana ukafiri alisema: Nani wasaidizi wangu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu? Wanafunzi wake wakasema: Sisi ni wasaidizi wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Tumemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu, na shuhudia kwamba sisi hakika ni Waislamu.
*When Jesus sensed their faithlessness, he said, ‘Who will be my helpers in God’s way?’ The Disciples said, ‘We will be helpers of God. We have faith in God, and you be witness that we have submitted to Him.

|
3:53
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Tumeyaamini uliyo yateremsha, na tumemfuata huyu Mtume, basi tuandike pamoja na wanao shuhudia.
*Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the apostle, so write us among the witnesses.’

|
3:54
وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
*Na Makafiri walipanga mipango na Mwenyezi Mungu akapanga mipango, na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye mbora wa wenye kupanga.
*Then they plotted [against Jesus], and God also devised, and God is the best of devisers.
|
|
3:55
إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَىٰ إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
*Pale Mwenyezi Mungu alipo sema: Ewe Isa! Mimi nitakufisha, na nitakunyanyua kwangu, na nitakutakasa na wale walio kufuru, na nitawaweka wale walio kufuata juu ya wale walio kufuru, mpaka Siku ya Kiyama. Kisha marejeo yenu yatakuwa kwangu, nikuhukumuni katika yale mliyo kuwa mkikhitalifiana.
*When God said, ‘O Jesus, I shall take your soul, and I shall raise you up toward Myself, and I shall clear you of the calumnies of the faithless, and I shall set those who follow you above the faithless until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me will be your return, whereat I will judge between you concerning that about which you used to differ.

|
3:56
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
*Ama wale walio kufuru, nitawaadhibu adhabu kali katika dunia na Akhera, wala hawatapata wa kuwanusuru.
*As for the faithless, I will punish them with a severe punishment in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.’
|
|
3:57
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Na ama wale walio amini na wakatenda mema basi Mwenyezi Mungu atawalipa ujira wao kaamili. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hawapendi madhaalimu.
*But as for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, He will pay them in full their rewards, and God does not like the wrongdoers.

|
3:58
ذَٰلِكَ نَتْلُوهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الْحَكِيمِ
*Haya tunayo kusomea ni katika Aya na Ukumbusho wenye hikima.
*These that We recite to you are from the signs and the Wise Reminder.

3:59
إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ آدَمَ ۖ خَلَقَهُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
*Hakika mfano wa Isa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni kama mfano wa Adam; alimuumba kwa udongo kisha akamwambia: Kuwa! Basi akawa.
*Indeed, the case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was.

|
3:60
الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ
*Hii ni kweli itokayo kwa Mola wako Mlezi. Basi usiwe miongoni mwa wanao fanya shaka.
*This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be among the skeptics.
|
|
3:61
فَمَنْ حَاجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَأَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَنِسَاءَنَا وَنِسَاءَكُمْ وَأَنْفُسَنَا وَأَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْكَاذِبِينَ
*Watakao kuhoji katika haya baada ya kukufikilia ilimu hii waambie: Njooni tuwaite watoto wetu na watoto wenu, na wake zetu na wake zenu, na sisi wenyewe na nyinyi wenyewe, kisha tuombe kwa unyenyekevu tutake laana ya Mwenyezi Mungu iwashukie waongo.
*Should anyone argue with you concerning him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, ‘Come! Let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, our souls and your souls, then let us pray earnestly and call down God’s curse upon the liars.’

3:62
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْقَصَصُ الْحَقُّ ۚ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
*Hakika haya ndiyo maelezo ya kweli. Na hakuna mungu ila Mwenyezi Mungu tu, na hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hikima.
*This is indeed the true account, for sure. There is no god but God, and indeed God is the All-mighty, the All-wise.

3:63
فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُفْسِدِينَ
*Na kama wakigeuka basi Mwenyezi Mungu anawajua waharibifu.
*But if they turn away, indeed God knows best the agents of corruption.
|
|
3:64
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُولُوا اشْهَدُوا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ
*Sema: Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Njooni kwenye neno lilio sawa baina yetu na nyinyi: Ya kwamba tusimuabudu yeyote ila Mwenyezi Mungu, wala tusimshirikishe na chochote; wala tusifanyane sisi kwa sisi kuwa Waola Walezi badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wakigeuka basi semeni: Shuhudi- eni ya kwamba sisi ni Waislamu.
*Say, ‘O People of the Book! Come to a common word between us and you: that we will worship no one but God, that we will not ascribe any partner to Him, and that some of us will not take some others as lords besides God.’ But if they turn away, say, ‘Be witnesses that we have submitted to God.’

3:65
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالْإِنْجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
*Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Mbona mnabishana juu ya Ibrahim, na hali Taurati na Injili hazikuteremshwa ila baada yake? Basi hamzingatii?
*O People of the Book! Why do you argue concerning Abraham? Neither the Torah nor the Evangel were sent down until long after him. Do you not exercise your reason?

3:66
هَا أَنْتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ حَاجَجْتُمْ فِيمَا لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِيمَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
*Angalieni! Nyinyi mlibishana katika yale mliyo yajua. Mbona sasa mnabishana katika yale msiyo yajua? Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye ajuaye, na nyinyi hamjui.
*Ah! You are the ones who argue about that of which you have knowledge. But why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And God knows and you do not know.

3:67
مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Ibrahim hakuwa Yahudi wala Mkristo, lakini alikuwa mwongofu Muislamu, wala hakuwa katika washirikina.
*Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian. Rather he was a ḥanīf, a muslim, and he was not one of the polytheists.

3:68
إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَٰذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Watu wanao mkaribia zaidi Ibrahim ni wale walio mfuata yeye na Nabii huyu na walio amini. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mlinzi wa Waumini.
*Indeed, the nearest of all people to Abraham are those who follow him, and this prophet and those who have faith, and God is the friend of the faithful.

3:69
وَدَّتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
*Kipo kikundi katika Watu wa Kitabu wanao penda kukupotezeni; lakini hawapotezi ila nafsi zao, nao wenyewe hawatambui.
*A group of the People of the Book were eager to lead you astray; yet they lead no one astray except themselves, but they are not aware.

3:70
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ
*Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Mbona mnazikataa Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu ilhali nyinyi mnashuhudia?
*O People of the Book! Why do you deny God’s signs while you testify to their truth?

|
3:71
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
*Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Mbona kweli mnaivisha uwongo, na kweli mnaificha na hali mnajua?
*O People of the Book! Why do you mix the truth with falsehood, and conceal the truth while you know it?

|
3:72
وَقَالَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمِنُوا بِالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوا آخِرَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
*Na kikundi katika Watu wa Kitabu walisema: Yaaminini yale waliyo teremshiwa wenye kuamini mwanzo wa mchana, na yakataeni mwisho wake; huenda wakarejea.
*A group of the People of the Book say, ‘Believe in what has been sent down to the faithful at the beginning of the day, and disbelieve at its end, so that they may turn back from their religion.’

3:73
وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا إِلَّا لِمَنْ تَبِعَ دِينَكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْهُدَىٰ هُدَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُؤْتَىٰ أَحَدٌ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيتُمْ أَوْ يُحَاجُّوكُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Wala msimuamini ila anaye fuata dini yenu. Sema: Hakika uwongofu ni uwongofu wa Mwenyezi Mungu, kuwa apewe mtu mfano wa mlio pewa nyinyi au wakuhojini mbele ya Mola wenu Mlezi. Sema: Hakika fadhila zimo mikononi mwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Humpa amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye wasaa na Mjuzi.
*[They say] ‘Do not believe anyone except him who follows your religion.’ Say, ‘Guidance is indeed the guidance of God.’ [They say] [‘Do not believe] that anyone may be given the like of what you were given, or that he may argue with you before your Lord.’ Say, ‘All grace is indeed in God’s hand; He grants it to whomever He wishes, and God is all-bounteous, all-knowing.

|
3:74
يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
*Yeye humchagua kumpa rehema zake amtakaye; na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye fadhila kubwa.
*He singles out for His mercy whomever He wishes, and God is dispenser of a mighty grace.’

|
3:75
وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مَنْ إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِقِنْطَارٍ يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِدِينَارٍ لَا يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا مَا دُمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَائِمًا ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ سَبِيلٌ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na miongoni mwa Watu wa Kitabu yupo ambaye ukimpa amana ya mrundi wa mali atakurudishia, na miongoni mwao yupo ambaye ukimpa amana ya dinari moja hakurudishii isipo kuwa ukimsimamia kumdai. Haya ni kwa kuwa wakisema: Hatuna lawama kwa ajili ya hawa wasio jua kusoma. Na wanamzulia uwongo Mwenyezi Mungu, hali nao wanajua.
*Among the People of the Book is he who, if you entrust him with a quintal, will repay it to you, and among them is he who, if you entrust him with a dinar, will not repay it to you unless you stand persistently over him. That is because they say, ‘We have no obligation to the non-Jews.’ But they attribute lies to God, and they know it.

|
3:76
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِ وَاتَّقَىٰ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ
*Sivyo hivyo, bali anaye timiza ahadi yake na akamchamngu basi Mwenyezi Mungu huwapenda wachamngu.
*Yes, whoever fulfills his commitments and is wary of God —God indeed loves the Godwary.

|
3:77
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا أُولَٰئِكَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Hakika wanao uza ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu na viapo vyao thamani ndogo, hao hawatakuwa na sehemu ya kheri yoyote katika Akhera, wala Mwenyezi Mungu hatasema nao wala hatawatazama Siku ya Kiyama, wala hatawatakasa, nao watapata adhabu chungu.
*Those who sell God’s covenant and their oaths for a paltry gain— there shall be no share for them in the Hereafter and God will not speak to them, nor will He look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and there is a painful punishment for them.

|
3:78
وَإِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَرِيقًا يَلْوُونَ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na wapo baadhi yao wanao pindua ndimi zao katika kusoma Kitabu ili mdhanie kuwa hayo yanatoka Kitabuni, na wala hayatoki Kitabuni. Na husema: Haya yametoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wala hayatoki kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wanamsingizia Mwenyezi Mungu uwongo na wao wanajua.
*There is indeed a group of them who alter their tone while reading out some text, so that you may suppose it to be from the Book, though it is not from the Book, and they say, ‘It is from God,’ though it is not from God, and they attribute lies to God, and they know it.

3:79
مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَنْ يُؤْتِيَهُ اللَّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُوا عِبَادًا لِي مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنْ كُونُوا رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ
*Haiwezi kuwa mtu aliye pewa na Mwenyezi Mungu Kitabu na hikima na Unabii kisha awaambie watu: Kuweni wa kuniabudu mimi badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Bali atawaambia: Kuweni wenye kumuabudu Mola Mlezi wa viumbe vyote, kwa kuwa nyinyi mnafundisha Kitabu na kwa kuwa mnakisoma.
*It does not behoove any human that God should give him the Book, judgement and prophethood, and then he should say to the people, ‘Be my servants instead of God.’ Rather he would say, ‘Be a godly people, by virtue of your teaching the Book and by virtue of your studying it.’

|
3:80
وَلَا يَأْمُرَكُمْ أَنْ تَتَّخِذُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ أَرْبَابًا ۗ أَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
*Wala hatakuamrisheni kuwafanya Malaika na Manabii kuwa ni miungu. Je, atakuamrisheni ukafiri baada ya kuwa nyinyi Waislamu?
*And he would not command you to take the angels and the prophets for lords. Would he call you to unfaith after you have submitted to God?

|
3:81
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُ ۚ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِي ۖ قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
*Na pale Mwenyezi Mungu alipo chukua ahadi kwa Manabii: Nikisha kupeni Kitabu na hikima, kisha akakujieni Mtume mwenye kusadikisha mliyo nayo, ni juu yenu mumuamini na mumsaidie. Akasema: Je, mmekiri na mmekubali kushika agizo langu juu ya hayo? Wakasema: Tumekubali. Akasema: Basi shuhudieni, na Mimi ni pamoja nanyi katika kushuhudia.
*When God took a compact with the prophets, [He said,] ‘Inasmuch as I have given you [the knowledge] of the Book and wisdom, should an apostle come to you thereafter confirming what is with you, you shall believe in him and help him.’ Said He, ‘Do you pledge and accept My covenant on this condition?’ They said, ‘We pledge.’ He said, ‘Then be witnesses, and I, too, am among witnesses along with you.’

|
3:82
فَمَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
*Watakao geuka baada ya haya basi hao ndio wapotovu.
*Then whoever turns away after that —it is they who are the transgressors.

|
3:83
أَفَغَيْرَ دِينِ اللَّهِ يَبْغُونَ وَلَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ
*Je, wanataka dini isiyo kuwa ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na hali kila kilichomo mbinguni na katika ardhi kimesilimu kwa kumt´ii Yeye kikipenda kisipende, na kwake Yeye watarejeshwa?
*Do they seek a religion other than that of God, while to Him submits whoever there is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be brought back?

|
3:84
قُلْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
*Sema: Tumemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu, na tuliyo teremshiwa sisi, na aliyo teremshiwa Ibrahim, na Ismail, na Is-haak na Yaakub na wajukuu zao, na aliyo pewa Musa na Isa na Manabii wengine kutoka kwa Mola wao Mlezi. Hatubagui baina yao hata mmoja, na sisi ni wenye kusilimu kwake.
*Say, ‘We have faith in God, and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and what Moses, Jesus and the prophets were given by their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit.’

|
3:85
وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
*Na anaye tafuta dini isiyo kuwa Uislamu haitakubaliwa kwake. Naye Akhera atakuwa katika wenye kukhasiri.
*Should anyone pursue a religion other than Islam, it shall never be accepted from him, and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.

|
3:86
كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُوا أَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Mwenyezi Mungu atawaongoaje watu walio kufuru baada ya kuamini kwao, na wakashuhudia ya kuwa Mtume huyu ni wa haki, na zikawafikia hoja zilizo wazi? Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi watu madhaalimu.
*How shall God guide a people who have disbelieved after their faith and after bearing witness that the Apostle is true, and after manifest proofs had come to them? God does not guide the wrongdoing lot.

|
3:87
أُولَٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Hao malipo yao ni kuwa ipo juu yao laana ya Mwenyezi Mungu na ya Malaika na ya watu wote.
*Their requital is that there shall be upon them the curse of God, the angels, and all mankind.
|
|
3:88
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ
*Humo watadumu. Hawatapunguziwa adhabu wala hawatapewa nafasi.
*They will remain in it, and their punishment will not be lightened, nor will they be granted any respite,
|
|
3:89
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Isipo kuwa wale walio tubu baada ya hayo na wakatengenea; kwani Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe na Mwenye kurehemu.
*except such as repent after that and make amends, for God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

|
3:90
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا لَنْ تُقْبَلَ تَوْبَتُهُمْ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الضَّالُّونَ
*Hakika wale walio kufuru baada ya kuamini kwao, kisha wakazidi kukufuru, toba yao haitakubaliwa, na hao ndio walio potea.
*Indeed, those who turn faithless after their faith, and then advance in faithlessness, their repentance will never be accepted, and it is they who are the astray.

|
3:91
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمْ مِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَىٰ بِهِ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
*Hakika wale walio kufuru, na wakafa hali ni makafiri haitakubaliwa kutoka kwa yeyote wao fidia ya dhahabu ya kujaza dunia nzima lau wangeli itoa. Hao watapata adhabu chungu, wala hawatakuwa na wa kuwanusuru.
*Indeed, those who turn faithless, and die faithless, a world of gold will not be accepted from any of them should he offer it for ransom. For such there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers.

|
3:92
لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ
*KABISA HAMTAFIKIA wema mpaka mtoe katika vile mnavyo vipenda. Na kitu chochote mnacho kitoa basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anakijua.
*You will never attain piety until you spend out of what you hold dear, and whatever you may spend of anything, God indeed knows it.

3:93
كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرَاةُ ۗ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Kila chakula kilikuwa halali kwa Wana wa Israili isipo kuwa alicho jizuilia Israili mwenyewe kabla haijateremshwa Taurati. Sema: Leteni Taurati muisome ikiwa nyinyi ni wasema kweli.
*All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had forbidden himself before the Torah was sent down. Say, ‘Bring the Torah and read it, if you are truthful.’

|
3:94
فَمَنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
*Na wanao mzulia uwongo Mwenyezi Mungu baada ya hayo, basi hao ndio madhaalimu.
*So whoever fabricates lies against God after that —it is they who are the wrongdoers.

|
3:95
قُلْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ ۗ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu amesema kweli. Basi fuateni mila ya Ibrahim mwongofu, wala hakuwa miongoni mwa washirikina.
*Say, ‘God has spoken the truth; so follow the creed of Abraham, a ḥanīf, and he was not one of the polytheists.
|
|
3:96
إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِلْعَالَمِينَ
*Hakika Nyumba ya kwanza walio wekewa watu kwa ibada ni ile iliyoko Bakka, iliyo barikiwa na yenye uwongofu kwa walimwengu wote.
*Indeed, the first house to be set up for mankind is the one at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for all nations.

|
3:97
فِيهِ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۖ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آمِنًا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Ndani yake zipo Ishara zilizo wazi - masimamio ya Ibrahim, na mwenye kuingia humo anakuwa katika amani. Na kwa ajili ya Mwenyezi Mungu imewajibikia watu wahiji kwenye Nyumba hiyo, kwa yule awezae njia ya kwendea. Na atakaye kanusha basi Mwenyezi Mungu si mhitaji kwa walimwengu.
*In it are manifest signs and Abraham’s Station, and whoever enters it shall be secure. And it is the duty of mankind toward God to make pilgrimage to the House —for those who can afford the journey to it— and should anyone renege on his obligation, God is indeed without need of the creatures.

3:98
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا تَعْمَلُونَ
*Sema: Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Kwa nini mnakanusha ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu, na ilhali kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni Shahidi kwa yote mnayo yatenda?
*Say, ‘O People of the Book! Why do you deny the signs of God, while God is witness to what you do?’

|
3:99
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ تَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَأَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءُ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
*Sema: Enyi Watu wa Kitabu! Kwa nini mnamzuilia aliye amini Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu mkiitafutia kosa, na hali nyinyi mnashuhudia? Na Mwenyezi Mungu si mwenye kughafilika na mnayo yatenda.
*Say, ‘O People of the Book! why do you bar the faithful from the way of God, seeking to make it crooked, while you are witnesses to its truthfulness? And God is not oblivious of what you do.’

3:100
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِينَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Mkiwat´ii baadhi ya walio pewa Kitabu watakurudisheni kuwa makafiri baada ya Imani yenu.
*O you who have faith, if you obey a part of those who were given the Book, they will turn you back, after your faith, into faithless ones.

3:101
وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُ ۗ وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
*Na vipi mkufuru hali nyinyi mnasomewa Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume yuko kati yenu? Na mwenye kushikamana na Mwenyezi Mungu basi huyo ameongozwa kwenye Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*And how would you be faithless while the signs of God are recited to you and His Apostle is in your midst? Whoever takes recourse in God is certainly guided to a straight path.

3:102
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu kama ipasavyo kumcha; wala msife ila nanyi ni Waislamu.
*O you who have faith! Be wary of God with the wariness due to Him and do not die except in the state of submission.

3:103
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
*Na shikamaneni kwa Kamba ya Mwenyezi Mungu nyote pamoja, wala msifarikiane. Na kumbukeni neema ya Mwenyezi Mungu iliyo juu yenu: vile mlivyo kuwa nyinyi kwa nyinyi maadui naye akaziunganisha nyoyo zenu; kwa neema yake mkawa ndugu. Na mlikuwa ukingoni mwa shimo la Moto, naye akakuokoeni nalo. Namna hivi Mwenyezi Mungu anakubainishieni Ishara zake ili mpate kuongoka.
*Hold fast, all together, to God’s cord, and do not be divided into sects. Remember God’s blessing upon you when you were enemies, then He brought your hearts together, so you became brothers with His blessing. And you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, whereat He saved you from it. Thus does God clarify His signs for you so that you may be guided.

3:104
وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
*Na uwe kutokana na nyinyi umma unao lingania kheri na unao amrisha mema na unakataza maovu. Na hao ndio walio fanikiwa.
*There has to be a nation among you summoning to all that is good, bidding what is right, and forbidding what is wrong. It is they who are the felicitous.

3:105
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Wala msiwe kama wale walio farikiana na kukhitalifiana baada ya kuwafikia hoja zilizo wazi. Na hao ndio watakao kuwa na adhabu kubwa.
*Do not be like those who became divided into sects and differed after manifest signs had come to them. For such there will be a great punishment

3:106
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
*Siku ambayo nyuso zitanawiri na nyuso zitasawijika. Ama hao ambao nyuso zao zitasawijika wataambiwa: Je! Mlikufuru baada ya kuamini kwenu? Basi onjeni adhabu kwa vile mlivyo kuwa mnakufuru.
*on the day when some faces will turn bright and some faces will turn dark. As for those whose faces turn black [they will be told], ‘Did you disbelieve after your faith? So taste the punishment because of what you used to disbelieve.’

|
3:107
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
*Ama wale ambao nyuso zao zitanawiri watakuwa katika rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Wao humo watadumu.
*But as for those whose faces become white, they shall dwell in God’s mercy, and they will remain in it.

3:108
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِلْعَالَمِينَ
*Hizi ni Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu tunakusomea kwa haki. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hataki kuwadhulumu walimwengu.
*These are the signs of God which We recite to you in truth, and God does not desire any wrong for the creatures.

|
3:109
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ
*Na kila kilichomo mbinguni na kilichomo ardhini ni cha Mwenyezi Mungu; na mambo yote yatarejea kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
*To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to God all matters are returned.

3:110
كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ ۚ مِنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
*Nyinyi mmekuwa bora ya umma walio tolewa watu, kwa kuwa mnaamrisha mema na mnakataza maovu, na mnamuamini Mwenyezi Mungu. Na lau kuwa Watu wa Kitabu nao wameamini ingeli kuwa bora kwao. Wapo miongoni mwao waumini, lakini wengi wao wapotovu.
*You are the best nation ever brought forth for mankind: you bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and have faith in God. And if the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them some are faithful, but most of them are transgressors.

|
3:111
لَنْ يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّا أَذًى ۖ وَإِنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ
*Maadui hawatakudhuruni ila ni maudhi tu. Na wakipigana nanyi watakupeni mgongo, na tena hawatanusuriwa.
*They will never do you any harm, except for some hurt; and if they fight you, they will turn their backs to flee, then they will not be helped.

|
3:112
ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ
*Wamepigwa na udhalili popote wanapo kutikana, isipo kuwa wakishika kamba ya Mwenyezi Mungu na kamba ya watu. Na wakastahiki ghadhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na wamepigwa na unyonge. Hayo ni kwa sababu walikuwa wakizikataa Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu, na wakiwauwa Manabii pasina haki; hayo ni kwa sababu waliasi na walikuwa wakiruka mipaka.
*Abasement is stamped upon them wherever they are found, except for an asylum from God and an asylum from the people. They earned the wrath of God, and poverty has been stamped upon them. That, because they would deny the signs of God and kill the prophets unjustly. That, because they would disobey and commit transgression.

3:113
لَيْسُوا سَوَاءً ۗ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أُمَّةٌ قَائِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ
*Wote hao si sawa sawa. Miongoni mwa Watu wa Kitabu wamo watu walio simama baraabara, wanasoma Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu nyakati za usiku, na pia wanasujudu.
*Yet they are not all alike. Among the People of the Book is an upright nation; they recite God’s signs in the watches of the night and prostrate.

3:114
يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَأُولَٰئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
*Wanamuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho, na wanaamrisha mema na wanakataza maovu na wanakimbilia katika mambo ya kheri. Na hao ndio miongoni mwa watenda mema.
*They have faith in God and the Last Day, and bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and they are active in performing good deeds. Those are among the righteous.

|
3:115
وَمَا يَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ يُكْفَرُوهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُتَّقِينَ
*Na kheri yoyote wanayo ifanya hawatanyimwa malipwa yake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anawajua wachamngu.
*Whatever good they do, they will not go unappreciated for it, and God knows well the Godwary.
|
|
3:116
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
*Hakika wale walio kufuru hazitawafaa kitu mali zao wala watoto wao mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na hao ndio watu wa Motoni - humo watadumu.
*As for the faithless, neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against God. They shall be the inmates of the Fire, and they will remain in it.

3:117
مَثَلُ مَا يُنْفِقُونَ فِي هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
*Mfano wa vile wanavyo vitoa katika uhai wao wa duniani ni kama upepo ambao ndani yake ipo baridi ya barafu, ukalisibu shamba la watu walio dhulumu nafsi zao, ukaliteketeza. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hakuwadhulumu, bali wao wenyewe wanadhulumu nafsi zao.
*The parable of what they spend in the life of this world is that of a cold wind that strikes the tillage of a people who wronged themselves, destroying it. God does not wrong them, but they wrong themselves.

|
3:118
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِنْ دُونِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Msiwafanye wasiri wenu watu wasio kuwa katika nyinyi. Hawataacha kukufanyieni ubaya. Wanayapenda yanayo kudhuruni. Imekwisha fichuka chuki yao katika midomo yao. Na yanayo ficha vifua vyao ni makubwa zaidi. Tumekwisha kubainishieni Ishara ikiwa nyinyi mtayatia akilini.
*O you who have faith! Do not take your confidants from others than yourselves; they will spare nothing to ruin you. They are eager to see you in distress. Hatred has already shown itself from their mouths, and what their breasts hide within is yet worse. We have certainly made the signs clear for you, should you exercise your reason.

3:119
هَا أَنْتُمْ أُولَاءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ وَإِذَا لَقُوكُمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الْأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ ۚ قُلْ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
*Hivyo basi nyinyi ndio mnawapenda watu hao, wala wao hawakupendeni. Nanyi mnaviamini Vitabu vyote. Na wanapo kutana nanyi husema: Tumeamini. Na wanapo kuwa peke yao wanakuumieni vidole kwa chuki. Sema: Kufeni kwa chuki yenu! Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anayajua yaliomo vifuani.
*Ah! You are the ones who bear love towards them, while they do not love you, though you believe in all the Books. When they meet you, they say, ‘We believe,’ but when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you out of rage. Say, ‘Die of your rage!’ God indeed knows well what is in the breasts.

|
3:120
إِنْ تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِنْ تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُوا بِهَا ۖ وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ
*Ikikupateni kheri huwaudhi. Na ikikupateni shari wanafurahia. Na nyinyi mkisubiri na mkajizuilia, hila zao hazitakudhuruni kitu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni mwenye kuyazunguka yote wayatendayo.
*If some good befalls you, it upsets them, but if some ill befalls you, they rejoice at it. Yet if you are patient and Godwary, their guile will not harm you in any way. God indeed encompasses what they do.

|
3:121
وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na pale ulipo toka asubuhi, ukaacha ahali zako uwapange Waumini kwenye vituo kwa ajili ya vita - na Mwenyezi Mungu anasikia na anajua.
*When you left your family at dawn to settle the faithful in their positions for battle —and God is all-hearing, all-knowing.
|
|
3:122
إِذْ هَمَّتْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْشَلَا وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا ۗ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
*Makundi mawili miongoni mwenu yakaingiwa na woga kuwa watashindwa - na hali Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mlinzi wao; na Waumini wamtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu tu.
*When two groups among you were about to lose courage —though God is their protector, and in God alone let all the faithful put their trust.

|
3:123
وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنْتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu alikwisha kunusuruni katika Badri nanyi mlikuwa wanyonge. Basi mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu ili mpate kushukuru.
*Certainly God helped you at Badr, when you were weak [in the enemy’s eyes]. So be wary of God so that you may give thanks.

|
3:124
إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَنْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَنْ يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلَاثَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُنْزَلِينَ
*Ulipo waambia Waumini: Je, haitakutosheni ikiwa Mola wenu atakusaidieni kwa Malaika elfu tatu walio teremshwa?
*When you were saying to the faithful, ‘Is it not enough for you that your Lord should aid you with three thousand angels sent down?’
|
|
3:125
بَلَىٰ ۚ إِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ
*Kwani! Ikiwa mtavumilia na mkamchamngu na hata maadui wakikutokeeni kwa ghafla, basi hapo Mola wenu Mlezi atakusaidieni kwa Malaika elfu tano wanao shambulia kwa nguvu.
*Yes, if you are steadfast and Godwary, and should they come at you suddenly, your Lord will aid you with five thousand angels sent in [to the scene of battle].
|
|
3:126
وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُمْ بِهِ ۗ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu hakufanya haya ila kuwa ni bishara kwenu, na ili nyoyo zenu zipate kutua. Na msaada hautoki isipo kuwa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliye tukuka, Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hikima.
*God did not appoint it but as a good news for you, and to reassure with it your hearts, and victory comes only from God, the All-mighty, the All-wise,
|
|
3:127
لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنْقَلِبُوا خَائِبِينَ
*Haya ni kwa ajili awakate sehemu katika walio kufuru, au awahizi wapate kurejea nyuma nao wamepwelewa.
*that He may cut down a section of the faithless, or subdue them, so that they retreat disappointed.
|
|
3:128
لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
*Wewe huna lako jambo katika haya - ama atawahurumia au atawaadhibu, kwani wao ni madhaalimu.
*You have no hand in the matter, whether He accepts their repentance or punishes them, for they are indeed wrongdoers.
|
|
3:129
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Na ni vya Mwenyezi Mungu vyote vilivyomo katika mbingu na vilivyomo katika ardhi. Yeye humsamehe na humuadhibu amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehevu Mwenye kurehemu.
*To God belongs whatever there is in the heavens and whatever there is in the earth: He forgives whomever He wishes and punishes whomever He wishes, and God is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

|
3:130
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَا أَضْعَافًا مُضَاعَفَةً ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Msile riba mkizidisha juu kwa juu, na mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu ili mpate kufanikiwa.
*O you who have faith! Do not exact usury, twofold and severalfold, and be wary of God so that you may be felicitous.

|
3:131
وَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِينَ
*Na uogopeni Moto ambao umeandaliwa kwa ajili ya makafiri.
*Beware of the Fire which has been prepared for the faithless,
|
|
3:132
وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
*Na mt´iini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume ili mpate kurehemewa.
*and obey God and the Apostle so that you may be granted His mercy.
|
|
3:133
وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
*Na yakimbilieni maghfira ya Mola wenu Mlezi, na Pepo ambayo upana wake ni mbingu na ardhi, iliyo wekwa tayari kwa wachamngu,
*Hasten towards your Lord’s forgiveness and a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the Godwary
|
|
3:134
الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
*Ambao hutoa wanapo kuwa na wasaa na wanapo kuwa na dhiki, na wanajizuia ghadhabu, na wasamehevu kwa watu; na Mwenyezi Mungu huwapenda wafanyao wema;
*—those who spend in ease and adversity, and suppress their anger, and excuse the faults of the people, and God loves the virtuous;

|
3:135
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na ambao pindi wafanyapo uchafu au wakajidhulumu nafsi zao humkumbuka Mwenyezi Mungu na wakamwomba msamaha kwa dhambi zao - na nani anaye futa dhambi isipo kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu? - na wala hawaendelei na waliyo yafanya na hali wanajua.
*and those who, when they commit an indecent act or wrong themselves, remember God, and plead to God seeking forgiveness for their sins —and who forgives sins except God?— and who do not persist in what they have committed while they know.

3:136
أُولَٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ
*Hao malipo yao ni msamaha kwa Mola wao Mlezi, na Bustani zipitazo mito kati yake. Humo watadumu, na mwema mno ujira wa watendao.
*Their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them. How excellent is the reward of the workers!

|
3:137
قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Kabla yenu zimepita nyendo nyingi; basi tembeeni katika ulimwengu muangalie vipi ulikuwa mwisho wa wanao kanusha.
*Certain Divine precedents have passed before you. So travel through the land and observe how was the fate of the deniers.

3:138
هَٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
*Hii ni bayana kwa watu wote, na ni uwongofu, na mawaidha kwa wachamngu.
*This is an explanation for mankind, and a guidance and advice for the Godwary.

|
3:139
وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
*Wala msilegee, wala msihuzunike, kwani nyinyi ndio wa juu mkiwa ni Waumini.
*Do not weaken or grieve: you shall have the upper hand, should you be faithful.

|
3:140
إِنْ يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنْكُمْ شُهَدَاءَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Kama yamekupateni majaraha, basi na hao watu wengine yamewapata majaraha mfano wa haya. Na siku za namna hii tunaweletea watu kwa zamu, ili Mwenyezi Mungu awapambanue walio amini na awateuwe miongoni mwenu mashahidi. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hawapendi madhaalimu;
*If wounds afflict you, like wounds have already afflicted those people; and We make such vicissitudes rotate among mankind, so that God may ascertain those who have faith, and that He may take martyrs from among you, and God does not like the wrongdoers.

|
3:141
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِرِينَ
*Na pia ili Mwenyezi Mungu awasafishe walio amini na awafutilie mbali makafiri.
*And so that God may purge those who have faith and that He may wipe out the faithless.

|
3:142
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ
*Je! Mnadhani mtaingia Peponi na hali Mwenyezi Mungu hajawapambanua wale miongoni mwenu walio pigana Jihadi, na hajawapambanua walio subiri?
*Do you suppose that you would enter paradise, while God has not yet ascertained those of you who have waged jihād and He has not ascertained the steadfast?

|
3:143
وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَلْقَوْهُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ
*Na nyinyi mlikuwa mkitamani mauti kabla hamjakutana nayo. Basi sasa mmekwisha yaona na huku mnayatazama.
*Certainly you were longing for death before you had encountered it. Then certainly you saw it, as you were looking on.

3:144
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ ۚ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ ۚ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ
*Na Muhammad hakuwa ila ni Mtume tu. Wamekwisha pita kabla yake Mitume. Je, akifa au akauwawa ndiyo mtageuka mrudi nyuma? Na atakaye geuka akarudi nyuma huyo hatamdhuru kitu Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu atawalipa wanao mshukuru.
*Muḥammad is but an apostle; other apostles have passed before him. If he dies or is slain, will you turn back on your heels? Anyone who turns back on his heels will not harm God in the least, and soon God will reward the grateful.

3:145
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ كِتَابًا مُؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا ۚ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ
*Na haiwezi nafsi kuwa ife ila kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu kama ilivyo andikwa ajali yake. Na mwenye kutaka malipo ya duniani tutampa; na mwenye kutaka malipo ya Akhera tutampa. Na tutawalipa wenye kushukuru.
*No soul may die except by God’s leave, at an appointed time. Whoever desires the reward of this world, We will give him of it; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him of it; and soon We will reward the grateful.

3:146
وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ
*Na Manabii wangapi walipigana na pamoja nao Waumini wengi wenye ikhlasi! Hawakufanya woga kwa yaliyo wasibu katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wala hawakudhoofika wala hawakuwa wanyonge. Na Mwenyezi Mungu huwapenda wanao subiri.
*How many a prophet there has been with whom a multitude of godly men fought. They did not falter for what befell them in the way of God, neither did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and God loves the steadfast.

|
3:147
وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
*Wala kauli yao haikuwa ila ni kusema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Tughufirie madhambi yetu na kupita kwetu kiasi katika mambo yetu, na isimamishe imara miguu yetu na utunusuru tuwashinde kaumu ya makafiri.
*All that they said was, ‘Our Lord, forgive our sins and our excesses in our affairs, make our feet steady, and help us against the faithless lot.’

3:148
فَآتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْآخِرَةِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
*Basi Mwenyezi Mungu akawapa malipo ya duniani na bora ya malipo ya Akhera. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anawapenda wafanyao mema.
*So God gave them the reward of this world and the fair reward of the Hereafter; and God loves the virtuous.

|
3:149
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Ikiwa mtawat´ii walio kufuru watakurudisheni nyuma, na hapo mtageuka kuwa wenye kukhasiri.
*O you who have faith! If you obey the faithless, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will become losers.

|
3:150
بَلِ اللَّهُ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّاصِرِينَ
*Bali Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mlinzi wenu, naye ndiye bora wa wasaidizi.
*Rather, God alone is your Master, and He is the best of helpers.
|
|
3:151
سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ بِمَا أَشْرَكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا ۖ وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَ
*Tutazitia khofu nyoyo za walio kufuru kwa vile walivyo mshirikisha Mwenyezi Mungu na washirika ambao hakuwateremshia hoja yoyote. Na makaazi yao ni Motoni; na maovu yaliyoje maskani ya wenye kudhulumu!
*We shall cast terror into the hearts of the faithless because of their ascribing partners to God, for which He has not sent down any authority, and their refuge shall be the Fire, and evil is the final abode of the wrongdoers.

3:152
وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُمْ بِإِذْنِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُمْ مَا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Na Mwenyezi Mungu alikutimilizieni miadi yake, vile mlivyo kuwa mnawauwa kwa idhini yake, mpaka mlipo legea na mkazozana juu ya amri, na mkaasi baada ya Yeye kukuonyesheni mliyo yapenda. Wapo miongoni mwenu wanao taka dunia, na wapo miongoni mwenu wanao taka Akhera. Kisha akakutengeni nao (maadui) ili akujaribuni. Naye sasa amekwisha kusameheni. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye fadhila juu ya Waumini.
*God certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were slaying them with His leave, until you lost courage, disputed about the matter, and disobeyed after He showed you what you loved. Some among you desire this world, and some among you desire the Hereafter. Then He turned you away from them so that He might test you. Certainly He has excused you, for God is gracious to the faithful.

3:153
إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُونَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا بِغَمٍّ لِكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَا أَصَابَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
*Pale mlipo kuwa mkikimbia mbio wala hamumsikilizi yeyote, na Mtume anakuiteni, yuko nyuma yenu. Mwenyezi Mungu akakupeni dhiki juu ya dhiki, ili msisikitike kwa yaliyo kukoseeni wala kwa yaliyo kusibuni. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anazo khabari za yote mnayo yatenda.
*When you were fleeing without paying any attention to anyone, while the Apostle was calling you from your rear, He requited you with grief upon grief, so that you may not grieve for what you lose nor for what befalls you, and God is well aware of what you do.

3:154
ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُعَاسًا يَغْشَىٰ طَائِفَةً مِنْكُمْ ۖ وَطَائِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ۖ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ ۗ يُخْفُونَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا لَا يُبْدُونَ لَكَ ۖ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا ۗ قُلْ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَىٰ مَضَاجِعِهِمْ ۖ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللَّهُ مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
*Kisha baada ya dhiki alikuteremshieni utulivu - usingizi ambao ulifunika kundi moja kati yenu. Na kundi jengine nafsi zao ziliwashughulisha hata wakamdhania Mwenyezi Mungu dhana isiyo kuwa ya haki, dhana ya kijinga. Wakisema: Hivyo tuna lolote sisi katika jambo hili? Sema: Mambo yote ni ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Wanaficha katika nafsi zao wasiyo kubainishia. Wanasema: Lau ingelikuwa tuna lolote katika jambo hili tusinge uliwa hapa. Sema: Hata mngeli kuwa majumbani mwenu, basi wangeli toka walio andikiwa kufa, wakenda mahali pao pa kuangukia wafe.(Haya ni hivyo) ili Mwenyezi Mungu ayajaribu yaliyomo vifuani mwenu, na asafishe yaliyomo nyoyoni mwenu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anayajua yaliyomo vifuani.
*Then He sent down to you safety after grief —a drowsiness that came over a group of you— while another group, anxious only about themselves, entertained false notions about God, notions of pagan ignorance. They say, ‘Do we have any role in the matter?’ Say, ‘ The matter indeed belongs totally to God.’ They hide in their hearts what they do not disclose to you. They say, ‘Had we any role in the matter, we would not have been slain here.’ Say, ‘Even if you had remained in your houses, those destined to be slain would have set out toward the places where they were laid to rest, so that God may test what is in your breasts, and that He may purge what is in your hearts, and God knows well what is in the breasts.’

3:155
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُوا ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
*Hakika wale walio rudi nyuma miongoni mwenu siku yalipo pambana majeshi mawili, Shet´ani ndiye aliye watelezesha kwa sababu ya baadhi ya makosa waliyo yafanya; na Mwenyezi Mungu amekwisha wasamehe. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mpole.
*Those of you who fled on the day when the two hosts met, only Satan had made them stumble because of some of their deeds. Certainly God has excused them, for God is all-forgiving, all-forbearing.

3:156
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَقَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُوا غُزًّى لَوْ كَانُوا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوا وَمَا قُتِلُوا لِيَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
*Enyi mlio amini! Msiwe kama wale walio kufuru na wakawasema ndugu zao walipo safiri katika nchi au walipo kuwa vitani: Wangeli kuwa kwetu wasingeli kufa na wasingeli uwawa. Ili Mwenyezi Mungu afanye hayo kuwa ni majuto katika nyoyo zao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu huhuisha na hufisha. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuyaona myatendayo.
*O you who have faith! Do not be like the faithless who say of their brethren, when they travel in the land or go into battle, ‘Had they stayed with us they would not have died or been killed,’ so that God may make it a regret in their hearts. But God gives life and brings death, and God watches what you do.

|
3:157
وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
*Na pindi mkiuliwa katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, au mkifa, hakika maghfira na rehema zitokazo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni bora kuliko yote wanayo yakusanya.
*Whether you are slain in the way of God or die, forgiveness and mercy from God are surely better than what they amass.
|
|
3:158
وَلَئِنْ مُتُّمْ أَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
*Na mkifa au mkiuliwa ni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndio mtakusanywa.
*If you die or are slain, you will surely be gathered toward God.
|
|
3:159
فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ ۖ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ ۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
*Basi ni kwa sababu ya rehema itokayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndio umekuwa laini kwao. Na lau ungeli kuwa mkali, mwenye moyo mgumu, bila ya shaka wangeli kukimbia. Basi wasamehe, na waombee maghfira, na shauriana nao katika mambo. Na ukisha kata shauri basi mtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu huwapenda wanao mtegemea.
*It is by God’s mercy that you are gentle to them; and had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would have surely scattered from around you. So excuse them and plead for forgiveness for them, and consult them in the affairs, and once you are resolved, put your trust in God. Indeed, God loves those who trust in Him.

|
3:160
إِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۗ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
*Akikunusuruni Mwenyezi Mungu hapana wa kukushindeni, na akikutupeni ni nani, basi, baada yake Yeye ataye kunusuruni? Na Waumini wamtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu tu.
*If God helps you, no one can overcome you, but if He forsakes you, who will help you after Him? So in God alone let all the faithful put their trust.

|
3:161
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ ۚ وَمَنْ يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
*Na haiwezekani kwa Nabii yeyote kufanya khiyana. Na atakaye fanya khiyana, atayaleta Siku ya Kiyama aliyo yafanyia khiyana, kisha kila mtu atalipwa kwa aliyo yachuma, kwa ukamilifu; wala hawatadhulumiwa.
*A prophet may not breach his trust, and whoever breaches his trust will bring his breaches on the Day of Resurrection; then every soul shall be recompensed fully for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.

3:162
أَفَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَ اللَّهِ كَمَنْ بَاءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
*Je! Aliye yafuata ya kumridhisha Mwenyezi Mungi ni kama yule aliye stahiki ghadhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na makaazi yake yakawa Jahannamu? Napo ni mahala pabaya pa kurejea.
*Is he who follows the course of God’s pleasure like him who earns God’s displeasure and whose refuge is hell, an evil destination?

3:163
هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Hao wana vyeo mbali mbali kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuyaona yote wayatendayo.
*They have ranks with God, and God watches what they do.

3:164
لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amewafanyia wema mkubwa Waumini vile alivyo waletea Mtume aliye miongoni mwao wenyewe, anaye wasomea Aya zake, na anawatakasa, na anawafunza Kitabu na hikima, ijapo kuwa kabla ya hapo walikuwa katika upotovu ulio wazi.
*God certainly favoured the faithful when He raised up among them an apostle from among themselves to recite to them His signs, and to purify them and teach them the Book and wisdom, and earlier they had indeed been in manifest error.

3:165
أَوَلَمَّا أَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ مِثْلَيْهَا قُلْتُمْ أَنَّىٰ هَٰذَا ۖ قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Nyinyi - ulipo kusibuni msiba ambao nyinyi mmekwisha watia mara mbili mfano wa huo - mnasema: Umetoka wapi huu? Sema: Huo umetoka kwenu wenyewe. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye uweza juu ya kila kitu.
*What, when an affliction visits you —while you have inflicted twice as much— do you say, ‘How is this?’! Say, ‘This is from your own souls.’ Indeed, God has power over all things.

3:166
وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Na yaliyo kusibuni siku yalipo pambana majeshi mawili yalikuwa kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na ili awajue Waumini.
*What befell you on the day when the two hosts met, was by God’s permission, so that He may ascertain the faithful,

3:167
وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا ۚ وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا قَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُوا ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالًا لَاتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ ۗ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ ۚ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ مَا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَ
*Na ili awapambanue walio kuwa wanaafiki, wakaambiwa: Njooni mpigane katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu au lindeni. Wakasema: Tungeli jua kuna kupigana bila ya shaka tungeli kufuateni. Wao siku ile walikuwa karibu na ukafiri kuliko Imani. Wanasema kwa midomo yao yasiyo kuwamo nyoyoni mwao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua kabisa wanayo yaficha.
*and ascertain the hypocrites. When they were told: ‘Come, fight in the way of God, or defend yourselves, they said, ‘If we knew any fighting, we would have surely followed you.’ That day they were nearer to unfaith than to faith. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and God knows well whatever they conceal.

3:168
الَّذِينَ قَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوا لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا ۗ قُلْ فَادْرَءُوا عَنْ أَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Hao ndio walio waambia ndugu zao na wao wenyewe wakakaa kitako: Lau wengeli tut´ii wasingeli uliwa. Sema: Ziondoleeni nafsi zenu mauti kama mnasema kweli.
*Those who said of their brethren, while they themselves sat back: ‘Had they obeyed us, they would not have been killed.’ Say, ‘Then keep death off from yourselves, if you are truthful.’

3:169
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
*Wala kabisa usiwadhanie walio uliwa katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu kuwa ni maiti. Bali hao ni wahai, wanaruzukiwa kwa Mola wao Mlezi.
*Do not suppose those who were slain in the way of God to be dead; no, they are living and provided for near their Lord,

|
3:170
فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
*Wanafurahia aliyo wapa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa fadhila yake, na wanawashangilia wale ambao bado hawajajiunga nao, walio nyuma yao, ya kwamba haitakuwa khofu juu yao wala hawatahuzunika.
*exulting in what God has given them out of His grace, and rejoicing for those who have not yet joined them from those left behind them that they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

3:171
يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Wanashangilia neema na fadhila za Mwenyezi Mungu, na ya kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu hapotezi ujira wa Waumini,
*They rejoice in God’s blessing and grace, and that God does not waste the reward of the faithful.

3:172
الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّقَوْا أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Walio mwitikia Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume baada ya kwisha patwa na majaraha - kwa walio fanya wema miongoni mwao na wakamchamngu utakuwa ujira mkubwa -
*Those who responded to God and the Apostle even after they had been wounded —for those of them who have been virtuous and Godwary there shall be a great reward.

3:173
الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
*Walio ambiwa na watu: Kuna watu wamekukusanyikieni, waogopeni! Hayo yakawazidishia Imani, wakasema: Mwenyezi Mungu anatutosha, naye ni mbora wa kutegemewa.
*—Those to whom the people said, ‘All the people have gathered against you, so fear them.’ That only increased them in faith, and they said, ‘God is sufficient for us, and He is an excellent trustee.’

3:174
فَانْقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ وَاتَّبَعُوا رِضْوَانَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظِيمٍ
*Basi wakarudi na neema na fadhila za Mwenyezi Mungu. Hapana baya lilio wagusa, na wakafuata yanayo mridhi Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye fadhila kuu.
*So they returned with God’s blessing and grace, untouched by any harm. They pursued the pleasure of God, and God is dispenser of a great grace.

|
3:175
إِنَّمَا ذَٰلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلَا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
*Hakika huyo ni Shet´ani anawatia khofu marafiki zake, basi msiwaogope, bali niogopeni Mimi mkiwa nyinyi ni Waumini.
*That is only Satan, frightening you of his followers! Fear them not, and fear Me, should you be faithful.

3:176
وَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Wala wasikuhuzunishe wale wanao kimbilia ukafirini. Hakika hao hawamdhuru kitu Mwenyezi Mungu. Mwenyezi Mungu anataka asiwawekee sehemu yoyote katika Akhera, na yao wao adhabu kubwa.
*Do not grieve for those who are active in unfaith; they will not hurt God in the least: God desires to give them no share in the Hereafter, and there is a great punishment for them.

3:177
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ لَنْ يَضُرُّوا اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Hakika wale walio nunua ukafiri kwa Imani hawatamdhuru kitu Mwenyezi Mungu, na yao wao ni adhabu chungu.
*Those who have bought unfaith for faith will not hurt God in the least, and there is a painful punishment for them.

3:178
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِثْمًا ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ
*Wala wasidhani wale wanao kufuru kwamba huu muhula tunao wapa ni kheri yao. Hakika tunawapa muhula wazidi madhambi. Na yao wao ni adhabu ya kuwadhalilisha.
*Let the faithless not suppose that the respite We grant them is good for their souls: We give them respite only that they may increase in sin, and there is a humiliating punishment for them.

3:179
مَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّىٰ يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِنْ رُسُلِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ وَإِنْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
*Haiwi kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kuwaacha Waumini katika hali mliyo nayo mpaka apambanue wabaya na wema. Wala haiwi kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kukujuulisheni mambo ya ghaibu. Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu humteua katika Mitume wake amtakaye. Basi muaminini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mitume yake. Na mkiamini na mkamchamngu mtakuwa na ujira mkubwa.
*God will not leave the faithful in your present state, until He has separated the bad ones from the good. God will not acquaint you with the Unseen, but God chooses from His apostles whomever He wishes. So have faith in God and His apostles; and if you are faithful and Godwary, there shall be a great reward for you.

3:180
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ ۖ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَهُمْ ۖ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
*Wala wasidhani wale ambao wanafanya ubakhili katika aliyo wapa Mwenyezi Mungu katika fadhila zake kuwa ni kheri yao. Bali hiyo ni shari kwao. Watafungwa kongwa za yale waliyo yafanyia ubakhili Siku ya Kiyama. Na urithi wa mbingu na ardhi ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anazo khabari za yote myatendayo.
*Let the stingy not suppose that their grudging what God has given them out of His bounty is good for them; no, it is bad for them. They will be collared with what they grudge on the Day of Resurrection. To God belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth, and God is well aware of what you do.

3:181
لَقَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاءُ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا وَقَتْلَهُمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ
*Mwenyezi Mungu amekwisha sikia kauli ya walio sema: Mwenyezi Mungu ni masikini, na sisi ni matajiri. Tumeyaandika waliyo yasema, na pia kuwauwa kwao Manabii bila ya haki, na tutawaambia Siku ya Kiyama: Onjeni adhabu ya kuungua.
*God has certainly heard the remark of those who said, ‘God is poor and we are rich.’ We will record what they have said, and their killing of the prophets unjustly, and We shall say, ‘Taste the punishment of the burning.

|
3:182
ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ
*Haya ni kwa sababu ya iliyo tanguliza mikono yenu, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu si mwenye kuwadhulumu waja,
*That is because of what your hands have sent ahead, and because God is not tyrannical to His servants.’
|

3:183
الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ ۗ قُلْ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Walio sema: Mwenyezi Mungu ametuahidi tusimuamini Mtume yeyote mpaka atuletee kafara inayo teketezwa na moto. Waambie: Walikujieni Mitume kabla yangu kwa hoja zilizo wazi na kwa hayo mnayo sema, basi kwa nini mkawauwa ikiwa mlikuwa wakweli?
*To those who say, ‘God has pledged us not to believe in any apostle unless he brings us an offering consumed by fire,’ say, ‘Apostles before me certainly did bring you manifest signs and what you speak of. Then why did you kill them, if you are truthful?’

|
3:184
فَإِنْ كَذَّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ جَاءُوا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِ
*Na wakikukanusha basi walikanushwa Mitume wengine kabla yako walio kuja na hoja waziwazi na Vitabu vyenye hikima, na Kitabu chenye nuru.
*But if they deny you, apostles have been denied before you, who came with manifest signs, holy writs, and an illuminating scripture.

3:185
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
*Kila nafsi itaonja mauti. Na bila ya shaka mtapewa ujira wenu kaamili Siku ya Kiyama. Na atakaye epushwa na Moto na akatiwa Peponi basi huyo amefuzu. Na maisha ya dunia si kitu ila ni starehe ya udanganyifu.
*Every soul shall taste death, and you will indeed be paid your full rewards on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is delivered from the Fire and admitted to paradise has certainly succeeded. The life of this world is nothing but the wares of delusion.

3:186
لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا أَذًى كَثِيرًا ۚ وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
*Hapana shaka yoyote mtapata misukosuko katika mali zenu na nafsi zenu, na bila ya shaka yoyote mtasikia udhia mwingi kutokana na walio pewa Kitabu kabla yenu na wale walio shiriki. Na ikiwa mtasubiri na mkamchamngu basi hakika hayo ni katika mambo ya kuazimia.
*You will surely be tested in your possessions and your souls, and you will surely hear from those who were given the Book before you and from the polytheists much affront; but if you are patient and Godwary, that is indeed the steadiest of courses.

3:187
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ
*Na pale Mwenyezi Mungu alipo fungamana na walio pewa Kitabu kuwa: Lazima mtawabainishia watu, wala hamtokificha, walikitupa nyuma ya migongo yao, na wakanunua kwacho thamani duni. Basi ni kiovu hicho walicho nunua.
*When God took a covenant with those who were given the Book: ‘You shall explain it for the people, and you shall not conceal it,’ they cast it behind their backs and sold it for a paltry gain. How evil is what they buy!

|
3:188
لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أَتَوْا وَيُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُحْمَدُوا بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Usiwadhanie kabisa wale wanao furahia waliyo yafanya, na wakapenda kusifiwa kwa wasiyo yatenda, usiwadhanie kuwa watasalimika na adhabu. Yao wao ni adhabu chungu.
*Do not suppose those who brag about what they have done and love to be praised for what they have not done —do not suppose them saved from punishment, and there is a painful punishment for them.

|
3:189
وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Na Ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu; na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye uweza juu ya kila kitu.
*To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God has power over all things.

|
3:190
إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ
*Hakika katika kuumbwa mbingu na ardhi na kukhitalifiana usiku na mchana ziko Ishara kwa wenye akili,
*Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for those who possess intellect.

3:191
الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
*Ambao humkumbuka Mwenyezi Mungu wakiwa wima na wakikaa kitako na wakilala, na hufikiri kuumbwa mbingu na ardhi, wakisema: Mola wetu Mlezi! Hukuviumba hivi bure. Subhanaka, Umetakasika! Basi tukinge na adhabu ya Moto.
*Those who remember God standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth [and say], ‘Our Lord, You have not created this in vain! Immaculate are You! Save us from the punishment of the Fire.

|
3:192
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنْصَارٍ
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Hakika unaye mtia Motoni umemhizi; na walio dhulumu hawana wasaidizi.
*Our Lord, whoever that You make enter the Fire will surely have been disgraced by You, and the wrongdoers will have no helpers.

3:193
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Hakika sisi tumemsikia mwenye kuita akiitia Imani kwamba: Muaminini Mola wenu Mlezi; nasi tukaamini. Basi tusamehe madhambi yetu, na utufutie makosa yetu, na utufishe pamoja na watu wema.
*Our Lord, we have indeed heard a summoner calling to faith, declaring, ‘‘Have faith in your Lord!’’ So we believed. Our Lord, forgive us our sins and absolve us of our misdeeds, and make us die with the pious.

3:194
رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
*Mola wetu Mlezi! Na utupe uliyo tuahidi kwa Mitume wako, wala usituhizi Siku ya Kiyama. Hakika Wewe huvunji miadi.
*Our Lord, give us what You have promised us through Your apostles, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not break Your promise.’

3:195
فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّي لَا أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ ۖ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ ۖ فَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا وَأُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَأُوذُوا فِي سَبِيلِي وَقَاتَلُوا وَقُتِلُوا لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ثَوَابًا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ
*Mola Mlezi wao, akayakubali maombi yao akajibu: Hakika sipotezi kazi ya mfanya kazi miongoni mwenu, akiwa mwanamume au mwanamke, kwani ni nyinyi kwa nyinyi. Basi walio hama, na walio tolewa makwao, na wakateswa katika Njia yangu, na wakapigana, na wakauliwa, kwa yakini Mimi nitawafutia makosa yao, na kwa yakini nitawaingiza katika Mabustani yanayo pita mito kati yake. Hayo ndiyo malipo yanayo toka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu kwake yapo malipo mema kabisa.
*Then their Lord answered them, ‘I do not waste the work of any worker among you, whether male or female; you are all on the same footing. So those who migrated and were expelled from their homes, and were tormented in My way, and who fought and were killed —I will surely absolve them of their misdeeds and I will admit them into gardens with streams running in them, as a reward from God, and God—with Him is the best of rewards.’

3:196
لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ
*Kabisa kusikudanganye kubakia kutangatanga kwa walio kufuru katika nchi.
*Never be misled by the bustle of the faithless in the towns.

3:197
مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ ثُمَّ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ
*Hiyo ni starehe ndogo. Kisha makaazi yao yatakuwa Jahannamu. Na ni mahali pabaya mno pa kupumzikia.
*It is a trivial enjoyment; then their refuge is hell, and it is an evil resting place.

3:198
لَٰكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلًا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِلْأَبْرَارِ
*Lakini walio mcha Mola wao Mlezi watapata Mabustani yanayo pita mito kati yake. Watadumu humo. Hayo ni makaribisho yao yatokayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na vilioko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni bora kwa watu wema.
*But those who are wary of their Lord —for them shall be gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them, a hospitality from God; and what is with God is better for the pious.

3:199
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
*Hakika miongoni mwa Watu wa Kitabu wapo wanao muamini Mwenyezi Mungu na yaliyo teremshwa kwenu na yaliyo teremshwa kwao, wakimnyenyekea Mwenyezi Mungu. Hawabadili Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu kwa thamani duni. Hao wana ujira wao kwa Mola wao Mlezi. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwepesi wa kuhisabu.
*Among the People of the Book there are indeed those who have faith in God, and in what has been sent down to you, and in what has been sent down to them. Humble toward God, they do not sell the signs of God for a paltry gain. They shall have their reward near their Lord; God is indeed swift at reckoning.

3:200
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
*Enyi mlio amini! Subirini, na shindaneni kusubiri, na kuweni macho, na mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu, ili mpate kufanikiwa.
*O you who have faith! Be patient, stand firm, and close your ranks, and be wary of God, so that you may be felicitous.
