Sura 36 - Yaseen

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
36:1
يس
*Ya-Sin (Y.S.).
*Ya Seen!
36:2
وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ
*Kwa Haki ya Qur´ani yenye hikima!
*By the Wise Quran,
36:3
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
*Hakika wewe ni miongoni mwa walio tumwa,
*you are indeed one of the apostles,
36:4
عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
*Juu ya Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*on a straight path.
36:5
تَنْزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
*Uteremsho wa Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kurehemu.
*[It is a scripture] sent down gradually from the All-mighty, the All-merciful
36:6
لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَا أُنْذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ
*Ili uwaonye watu ambao baba zao hawakuonywa , basi wao wamekuwa wenye kughafilika.
*that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are oblivious.
36:7
لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Bila ya shaka kauli imekwisha thibiti juu ya wengi katika wao, kwa hivyo hawaamini.
*The word has certainly become due against most of them, so they will not have faith.
36:8
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى الْأَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُقْمَحُونَ
*Tumeweka makongwa shingoni mwao, yakawafika videvuni. Kwa hivyo vichwa vyao viko juu tu.
*Indeed We have put iron collars around their necks, which are up to the chins, so their heads are upturned.
36:9
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
*Tumeweka kizuizi mbele yao, na kizuizi nyuma yao, na tumewafunika macho yao; kwa hivyo hawaoni.
*And We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, then We have blind-folded them, so they do not see.
36:10
وَسَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنْذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Ni sawa sawa kwao ukiwaonya au usiwaonye, hawataamini.
*It is the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not have faith.
36:11
إِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
*Hakika wewe unamwonya mwenye kufuata ukumbusho, na akamcha Arrahman, Mwingi wa Rehema, kwa ghaibu. Basi mbashirie huyo msamaha na ujira mwema.
*You can only warn someone who follows the Reminder and fears the All-beneficent in secret; so give him the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward.
36:12
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُبِينٍ
*Hakika Sisi tunawafufua wafu, na tunayaandika wanayo yatanguliza, na wanayo yaacha nyuma. Na kila kitu tumekihifadhi katika daftari asli lenye kubainisha.
*Indeed it is We who revive the dead and write what they have sent ahead and their effects [which they left behind], and We have figured everything in a manifest Imam.
36:13
وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
*Na wapigie mfano wa wakaazi wa mji walipo wafikia walio tumwa.
*Cite for them the example of the inhabitants of the town when the apostles came to it.
36:14
إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ مُرْسَلُونَ
*Tulipo watumia wawili, wakawakanusha. Basi tukawazidishia nguvu kwa mwingine wa tatu. Wakasema: Hakika sisi tumetumwa kwenu.
*When We sent to them two [apostles], they impugned both of them. Then We reinforced them with a third, and they said, ‘We have indeed been sent to you.’
36:15
قَالُوا مَا أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنْزَلَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
*Wakasema: Nyinyi si chochote ila ni watu kama sisi. Na Mwingi wa Rehema hakuteremsha kitu. Nyinyi mnasema uwongo tu.
*They said, ‘You are no other than human beings like us, and the All-beneficent has not sent down anything, and you are only lying.’
36:16
قَالُوا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
*Wakasema: Mola wetu Mlezi anajua kwamba hakika sisi tumetumwa kwenu.
*They said, ‘Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you,
36:17
وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
*Wala si juu yetu ila kufikisha ujumbe ulio wazi.
*and our duty is only to communicate in clear terms.’
36:18
قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمْ مِنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
*Wakasema: Sisi tumeagua kuwa nyinyi ni wakorofi. Ikiwa hamtaacha basi kwa yakini tutakupigeni mawe, na mtapata adhabu chungu kutoka kwetu.
*They said, ‘Indeed we take you for a bad omen. If you do not desist we will stone you, and surely a painful punishment will visit you from us.’
36:19
قَالُوا طَائِرُكُمْ مَعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْ ۚ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُسْرِفُونَ
*Wakasema: Ukorofi wenu mnao wenyewe! Je! Ni kwa kuwa mnakumbushwa? Ama nyinyi ni watu walio pindukia mipaka.
*They said, ‘Your bad omens attend you. What! If you are admonished.... Indeed, you are an unrestrained lot.’
36:20
وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
*Na akaja mtu mbio kutokea upande wa mbali wa mjini, akasema: Enyi watu wangu! Wafuateni hawa walio tumwa.
*There came a man hurrying from the city outskirts. He said, ‘O my people! Follow the apostles!
36:21
اتَّبِعُوا مَنْ لَا يَسْأَلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
*Wafuateni ambao hawakutakini ujira, hali ya kuwa wenyewe wameongoka.
*Follow them who do not ask you any reward and they are rightly guided.
36:22
وَمَا لِيَ لَا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
*NA KWA NINI nisimuabudu yule aliye niumba na kwake mtarejeshwa?
*Why should I not worship Him who has originated me, and to whom you shall be brought back?
36:23
أَأَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِنْ يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَا تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُنْقِذُونِ
*Je! Niishike miungu mingine badala yake? Arrahmani, Mwingi wa Rehema, akinitakia madhara uombezi wa hao hautanifaa kitu, wala hawataniokoa.
*Shall I take gods besides Him? If the All-beneficent desired to cause me any distress, their intercession will not avail me in any way, nor will they rescue me.
36:24
إِنِّي إِذًا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
*Basi hakika mimi hapo nitakuwa katika upotovu ulio dhaahiri.
*Indeed, then I would be in manifest error.
36:25
إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ
*Hakika mimi nimemuamini Mola wenu Mlezi, basi nisikilizeni!
*Indeed I have faith in your Lord, so listen to me.’
36:26
قِيلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَ
*Akaambiwa: Ingia Peponi! Akasema: Laiti kuwa watu wangu wangeli jua
*He was told, ‘Enter paradise!’ He said, ‘Alas! Had my people only known
36:27
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ
*Jinsi Mola wangu Mlezi alivyo nisamehe, na akanifanya miongoni mwa walio hishimiwa.
*for what my Lord forgave me and made me one of the honoured ones!’
36:28
وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِينَ
*Na hatukuwateremshia kaumu yake baada yake jeshi kutoka mbinguni, wala si wenye kuteremsha.
*After him We did not send down on his people a host from the sky, nor We would have sent down.
36:29
إِنْ كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ
*Hakukuwa ila ukelele mmoja tu; na mara walizimwa!
*It was but a single Cry, and, behold, they were stilled [like burnt ashes]!
36:30
يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
*Nawasikitikia waja wangu. Hawajii Mtume ila wao humkejeli.
*How regrettable of the servants! There did not come to them any apostle but that they used to deride him.
36:31
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
*Je! Hawaoni umma ngapi tulizo ziangamiza kabla yao? Hakika hao hawarejei tena kwao.
*Have they not regarded how many generations We have destroyed before them who will not come back to them?
36:32
وَإِنْ كُلٌّ لَمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
*Na hapana mmoja ila wote watakusanywa waletwe mbele yetu.
*And all of them will indeed be presented before Us.
36:33
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمُ الْأَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
*Na Ishara hiyo kwao - ardhi iliyo kufa, nasi tukaifufua, na tukatoa ndani yake nafaka, wakawa wanazila!
*A sign for them is the dead earth, which We revive and bring forth grain out of it, so they eat of it.
36:34
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّاتٍ مِنْ نَخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ الْعُيُونِ
*Na tukafanya ndani yake mabustani ya mitende na mizabibu, na tukatimbua chemchem ndani yake,
*We make in it orchards of date palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth in it,
36:35
لِيَأْكُلُوا مِنْ ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
*Ili wale matunda yake, na hayo hayakufanywa na mikono yao! Basi je, hawashukuru?
*so that they may eat of its fruit and what their hands have cultivated. Will they not then give thanks?
36:36
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
*Subhana, Ametakasika, aliye umba dume na jike vyote katika vinavyo mea katika ardhi na katika nafsi zao, na katika wasivyo vijua.
*Immaculate is He who has created all the kinds of what the earth grows, and of themselves, and of what they do not know.
36:37
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُمْ مُظْلِمُونَ
*Na usiku ni Ishara kwao. Tunauvua humo mchana, mara wao wanakuwa gizani.
*A sign for them is the night, which We strip of daylight, and, behold, they find themselves in the dark!
36:38
وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
*Na jua linakwenda kwa kiwango chake. Hayo ni makadirio ya Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kujua.
*The sun runs on to its place of rest: That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing.
36:39
وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ
*Na mwezi tumeupimia vituo, mpaka unakuwa kama karara kongwe.
*As for the moon, We have ordained its phases, until it becomes like an old palm leaf.
36:40
لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنْبَغِي لَهَا أَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
*Haliwi jua kuufikia mwezi, wala usiku kuupita mchana. Na vyote vinaogelea katika njia zao.
*Neither it behooves the sun to overtake the moon, nor may the night outrun the day, and each swims in an orbit.
36:41
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
*Na ni Ishara kwao kwamba Sisi tuliwapakia dhuriya zao katika jahazi ilio sheheni.
*A sign for them is that We carried their progeny in the laden ship,
36:42
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِنْ مِثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
*Na tukawaumbia kutoka mfano wake wanavyo vipanda.
*and We have created for them what is similar to it, which they ride.
36:43
وَإِنْ نَشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْقَذُونَ
*Na tukitaka tunawazamisha, wala hapana wa kuwasaidia, wala hawaokolewi,
*And if We like We drown them, whereat they have no one to call for help, nor are they rescued
36:44
إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
*Isipo kuwa kwa rehema zitokazo kwetu na starehe kwa muda.
*except by a mercy from Us and for an enjoyment until some time.
36:45
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
*Na wanapo ambiwa: Jilindeni na yalioko mbele yenu na yalioko nyuma yenu, ili mpate kurehemewa...
*And when they are told, ‘Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, so that you may receive [His] mercy…’
36:46
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
*Na haiwafikii Ishara yoyote katika Ishara za Mola wao Mlezi ila wao huwa ni wenye kuipuuza.
*There does not come to them any sign from among the signs of their Lord but that they have been disregarding it.
36:47
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنْفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَنْ لَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
*Na wanapo ambiwa: Toeni katika aliyo kupeni Mwenyezi Mungu, walio kufuru huwaambia walio amini: Je! Tuwalishe ambao Mwenyezi Mungu angependa angeli walisha mwenyewe? Nyinyi hammo ila katika upotofu ulio dhaahiri.
*When they are told, ‘Spend out of what Allah has provided you,’ the faithless say to the faithful, ‘Shall we feed [someone] whom Allah would feed, if He wished? You are only in manifest error.’
36:48
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Na wanasema: Ahadi hii itatokea lini, ikiwa nyinyi ni wakweli?
*And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, should you be truthful?’
36:49
مَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
*Hawangojei ila ukelele mmoja tu utakao wachukua nao wamo kuzozana.
*They do not await but a single Cry that will seize them as they wrangle.
36:50
فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
*Basi hawataweza kuusia, wala kwa watu wao hawarejei.
*Then they will not be able to make any will, nor will they return to their folks.
36:51
وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُمْ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنْسِلُونَ
*Na litapulizwa barugumu, mara watatoka makaburini wakikimbilia kwa Mola wao Mlezi.
*And when the Trumpet is blown, behold, there they will be, scrambling towards their Lord from their graves!
36:52
قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَنْ بَعَثَنَا مِنْ مَرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
*Watasema: Ole wetu! Nani aliye tufufua kwenye malazi yetu? Haya ndiyo aliyo yaahidi Mwingi wa Rehema na wakasema kweli Mitume.
*They will say, ‘Woe to us! Who raised us from our place of sleep?’ ‘This is what the All-beneficent had promised, and the apostles had spoken the truth!’
36:53
إِنْ كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
*Haitakuwa ila ukelele mmoja tu, mara wote watahudhuruishwa mbele yetu.
*It will be but a single Cry, and, behold, they will all be presented before Us!
36:54
فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Basi leo nafsi yoyote haitadhulumiwa kitu, wala hamtalipwa ila yale mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
*‘Today no soul will be wronged in the least, nor will you be requited except for what you used to do.’
36:55
إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ
*Hakika watu wa Peponi leo wamo shughulini, wamefurahi.
*Indeed today the inhabitants of paradise rejoice in their engagements
36:56
هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ
*Wao na wake zao wamo katika vivuli wameegemea juu ya viti vya fakhari.
*—they and their mates, reclining on couches in the shades.
36:57
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُمْ مَا يَدَّعُونَ
*Watapata humo kila namna ya matunda na watapata kila watakacho kitaka.
*There they have fruits, and they have whatever they want.
36:58
سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِنْ رَبٍّ رَحِيمٍ
*"Salama!" Hiyo ndiyo kauli itokayo kwa Mola Mlezi Mwenye kurehemu.
*‘Peace!’—a watchword from the all-merciful Lord.
36:59
وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
*Na enyi wakosefu! Jitengeni leo!
*And ‘Get apart today, you guilty ones!’
36:60
أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَنْ لَا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ
*Je! Sikuagana nanyi, enyi wanaadamu, kuwa msimuabudu Shet´ani? Hakika yeye ni adui dhaahiri kwenu.
*‘Did I not exhort you, O children of Adam, saying, “Do not worship Satan. He is indeed your manifest enemy.
36:61
وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
*Na ya kwamba mniabudu Mimi? Hii ndiyo Njia Iliyo Nyooka.
*Worship Me. That is a straight path”?
36:62
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنْكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ
*Na bila ya shaka yeye amekwisha lipoteza kundi kubwa miongoni mwenu. Je, hamkuwa mkifikiri?
*Certainly, he has led astray many of your generations. Have you not exercised your reason?
36:63
هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
*Hii basi ndiyo Jahannamu mliyo kuwa mkiahidiwa.
*This is the hell you had been promised!
36:64
اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
*Ingieni leo kwa vile mlivyo kuwa mkikufuru.
*Enter it today, because of what you used to deny.
36:65
الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
*Leo tunaviziba vinywa vyao, na iseme nasi mikono yao, na itoe ushahidi miguu yao kwa waliyo kuwa wakiyachuma.
*Today We shall seal their mouths, and their hands shall speak to Us, and their feet shall bear witness concerning what they used to earn.’
36:66
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
*Na tungeli penda tungeli yafutilia mbali macho yao, wakawa wanaiwania njia. Lakini wange ionaje?
*Had We wished We would have blotted out their eyes: then, were they to advance towards the path, how would have they seen?
36:67
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
*Na tungeli taka tunge wageuza sura hapo hapo walipo, basi wasinge weza kwenda wala kurudi.
*And had We wished We would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return.
36:68
وَمَنْ نُعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
*Na tunaye mzeesha tunamrudisha nyuma katika umbo. Basi je! hawazingatii?
*And whomever We give a long life, We cause him to regress in creation. Then, will they not exercise their reason?
36:69
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُبِينٌ
*Wala hatukumfundisha (Muhammad) mashairi, wala hayatakikani kwake hayo. Haukuwa huu ila ni ukumbusho na Qur´ani inayo bainisha.
*We did not teach him poetry, nor does it behoove him. This is just a reminder and a manifest Quran,
36:70
لِيُنْذِرَ مَنْ كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
*Ili imwonye aliye hai, na neno litimie juu ya makafiri.
*so that anyone who is alive may be warned, and that the word may come due against the faithless.
36:71
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
*Je! Hawaoni kwamba tumewaumbia kutokana na iliyo fanya mikono yetu wanyama wa mifugo, na wao wakawa wenye kuwamiliki.
*Have they not seen that We have created for them—of what Our hands have worked—cattle, so they have become their masters?
36:72
وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
*Na Sisi tukawadhalilishia. Basi baadhi yao wako wanao wapanda, na baadhi yao wanawala.
*And We made them tractable for them; so some of them make their mounts and some of them they eat.
36:73
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
*Na wao wanapata kwao manufaa na vinywaji. Basi je, hawashukuru?
*There are other benefits for them therein, and drinks. Will they not then give thanks?
36:74
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
*Na wameishika miungu mingine badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu ili ati wapate kusaidiwa!
*They have taken gods besides Allah, [hoping] that they might be helped [by the fake deities].
36:75
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُحْضَرُونَ
*Hawataweza kuwasaidia. Bali hao ndio watakuwa askari wao watakao hudhurishwa.
*[But] they cannot help them, while they [themselves] are an army mobilized for their defence.
36:76
فَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
*Basi maneno yao yasikuhuzunishe. Hakika Sisi tunayajua wanayo yaweka siri na wanayo yatangaza.
*So do not let their remarks grieve you. We indeed know whatever they hide and whatever they disclose.
36:77
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُبِينٌ
*Kwani mwanaadamu haoni ya kwamba Sisi tumemuumba yeye kutokana na tone la manii? Kisha sasa yeye ndio amekuwa ndiye mgomvi wa dhaahiri!
*Does not man see that We created him from a drop of [seminal] fluid, and, behold, he is an open contender!?
36:78
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ ۖ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ
*Na akatupigia mfano, na akasahau kuumbwa kwake, akasema: Ni nani huyo atakaye ihuisha mifupa nayo imekwisha mung´unyika?
*He draws comparisons for Us, and forgets his own creation. He says, ‘Who shall revive the bones when they have decayed?’
36:79
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنْشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
*Sema: Ataihuisha huyo huyo aliye iumba hapo mara ya mwanzo. Na Yeye ni Mjuzi wa kila kuumba.
*Say, ‘He will revive them who produced them the first time, and He has knowledge of all creation.
36:80
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنْتُمْ مِنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
*Aliye kujaalieni kupata moto kutokana na mti wa kijani nanyi mkawa kwa huo mnawasha.
*He, who made for you fire out of the green tree, and, behold, you light fire from it!
36:81
أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Kwani aliye ziumba mbingu na ardhi hawezi kuwaumba mfano wao? Kwani! Naye ndiye Muumbaji Mkuu, Mjuzi.
*Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yes indeed! He is the All-creator, the All-knowing.
36:82
إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
*Hakika amri yake anapo taka kitu ni kukiambia tu: Kuwa! Na kikawa.
*All His command, when He wills something, is to say to it ‘Be,’ and it is.
36:83
فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
*Basi Ametakasika yule ambaye mkononi mwake umo Ufalme wa kila kitu; na kwake Yeye mtarejeshwa.
*So immaculate is He in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to whom you shall be brought back.
