Sura 50 - Qaaf

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
50:1
ق ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ
*Qaaf. Naapa kwa Qur´ani tukufu!
*Qaf. By the glorious Quran.
50:2
بَلْ عَجِبُوا أَنْ جَاءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا شَيْءٌ عَجِيبٌ
*Bali wanastaajabu kwamba amewafikia mwonyaji kutoka miongoni mwao, na wakasema makafiri: Hili ni jambo la ajabu!
*Indeed they consider it odd that a warner from among themselves should have come to them. So the faithless say, ‘This is an odd thing.’
50:3
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعِيدٌ
*Ati tukifa na tukawa udongo...? Kurejea huko kuko mbali!
*‘What! When we are dead and have become dust, [shall we be raised again]? That is a far-fetched return!’
50:4
قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنْقُصُ الْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَعِنْدَنَا كِتَابٌ حَفِيظٌ
*Hakika Sisi tunajua kiasi cha kila kinacho punguzwa na ardhi kutokana nao. Na kwetu kipo Kitabu kinacho hifadhi yote.
*We know what the earth diminishes from them, and with Us is a preserving Book.
50:5
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِي أَمْرٍ مَرِيجٍ
*Lakini waliikanusha Haki ilipo wajia; kwa hivyo wamo katika mambo ya mkorogo.
*Indeed, they denied the truth when it came to them; so they are now in a perplexed state of affairs.
50:6
أَفَلَمْ يَنْظُرُوا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنَاهَا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِنْ فُرُوجٍ
*Je! Hawaangalii mbingu zilizo juu yao! Vipi tulivyo zijenga, na tukazipamba. Wala hazina nyufa.
*Have they not, then, observed the heaven above them, how We have built it and adorned it, and that there are no cracks in it?
50:7
وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ
*Na ardhi tumeitandaza na tukaiwekea milima, na tukaiotesha mimea mizuri ya kila namna.
*And We spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and caused every delightful kind [of vegetation] to grow in it.
50:8
تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُنِيبٍ
*Yawe haya ni kifumbua macho na ukumbusho kwa kila mja mwenye kuelekea.
*[In this there is] an insight and admonition for every penitent servant.
50:9
وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً مُبَارَكًا فَأَنْبَتْنَا بِهِ جَنَّاتٍ وَحَبَّ الْحَصِيدِ
*Na tumeteremsha kutoka mbinguni maji yaliyo barikiwa, na kwa hayo tukaotesha mabustani na nafaka za kuvunwa.
*We send down from the sky salubrious water, with which We grow gardens and the grain which is harvested,
50:10
وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ
*Na mitende mirefu yenye makole yaliyo zaa kwa wingi,
*and tall date palms with regularly set spathes,
50:11
رِزْقًا لِلْعِبَادِ ۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ الْخُرُوجُ
*Ili iwe ni riziki kwa waja wangu. Na tukaifufua kwa maji nchi iliyo kuwa imekufa. Kama hivyo ndivyo utakavyo kuwa ufufuaji.
*as a provision for Our servants, and with it We revive a dead country. Likewise will be the rising [from the dead].
50:12
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
*Kabla yao walikadhibisha kaumu ya Nuhu na wakaazi wa Rassi na Thamudi.
*The people of Noah denied before them, and [so did] the people of Rass and Thamud,
50:13
وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَانُ لُوطٍ
*Na A´di na Firauni na kaumu ya Lut´i.
*and ‘Ad, Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot,
50:14
وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ
*Na wakaazi wa Machakani, na watu wa Tubbaa´. Wote hao waliwakanusha Mitume, kwa hivyo onyo likathibitika juu yao.
*and the inhabitants of Aykah and the people of Tubbac. Each [of them] impugned the apostles, and so My threat became due [against them].
50:15
أَفَعَيِينَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِي لَبْسٍ مِنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
*Kwani tulichoka kwa kuumba mara ya kwanza. Bali wao wamo katika shaka tu juu ya umbo jipya.
*Have We been exhausted by the first creation? No, they are in doubt about a new creation.
50:16
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ
*Na hakika tumemuumba mtu, nasi tunayajua yanayo mpitikia katika nafsi yake. Na Sisi tuko karibu naye kuliko mshipa wa shingoni mwake.
*Certainly We have created man and We know to what his soul tempts him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.
50:17
إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ
*Wanapo pokea wapokeaji wawili, wanao kaa kuliani na kushotoni.
*When the twin recorders record [his deeds], seated on the right hand and on the left:
50:18
مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ
*Hatamki neno ila karibu yake yupo mwangalizi tayari.
*he says no word but that there is a ready observer beside him.
50:19
وَجَاءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنْتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ
*Na uchungu wa kutoka roho utamjia kwa haki. Hayo ndiyo uliyo kuwa ukiyakimbia.
*The throes of death bring the truth: ‘This is what you used to shun!’
50:20
وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ
*Na litapulizwa baragumu. Hiyo ndiyo Siku ya Miadi.
*And the Trumpet will be blown: ‘This is the promised day.’
50:21
وَجَاءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَعَهَا سَائِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ
*Na kila nafsi itakuja na pamoja nayo mchungaji na shahidi.
*Every soul will come accompanied by [two angels], a driver, and a witness:
50:22
لَقَدْ كُنْتَ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنْكَ غِطَاءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
*(Aambiwe): Kwa hakika ulikuwa umeghafilika na haya; basi leo tumekuondolea pazia lako, na kwa hivyo kuona kwako leo ni kukali.
*[he will be told] ‘You were certainly oblivious of this. We have removed your veil from you, and so today your eyesight is acute.’
50:23
وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيدٌ
*Na mwenzake atasema: Huyu niliye naye mimi kesha tayarishwa.
*Then his companion [angel] will say, ‘This is what is ready with me [of his record of deeds].’
50:24
أَلْقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
*Mtupeni katika Jahannamu kila kafiri mwenye inda,
*[The two angels accompany him will be told,] ‘Cast every obdurate ingrate into hell,
50:25
مَنَّاعٍ لِلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُرِيبٍ
*Akatazaye kheri, arukaye mipaka, mwenye kutia shaka,
*[every] hinderer of good, transgressor, and skeptic,
50:26
الَّذِي جَعَلَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِي الْعَذَابِ الشَّدِيدِ
*Aliye weka mungu mwengine pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu. Basi mtupeni katika adhabu kali.
*who had set up another god along with Allah and cast him into the severe punishment.’
50:27
قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
*Mwenzake aseme: Ee Mola wetu Mlezi! Sikumpoteza mimi, bali yeye mwenyewe alikuwa katika upotovu wa mbali.
*His companion [devil] will say, ‘Our Lord! I did not incite him to rebel [against You], but he was [himself] in extreme error.’
50:28
قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا لَدَيَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ بِالْوَعِيدِ
*(Mwenyezi Mungu) aseme: Msigombane mbele yangu. Nilikuleteeni mbele onyo langu.
*He will say, ‘Do not wrangle in My presence, for I had already warned you in advance.
50:29
مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ
*Mbele yangu haibadilishwi kauli, wala Mimi siwadhulumu waja wangu.
*The word [of judgement] is unalterable with Me, and I am not tyrannical to My servants.’
50:30
يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ
*Siku tutapo iambia Jahannamu: Je! Umejaa? Nayo itasema: Je! Kuna ziada?
*The day when We shall say to hell, ‘Are you full?’ It will say, ‘Is there any more?’
50:31
وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ
*Na Pepo italetwa karibu kwa ajili ya wachamngu, haitakuwa mbali.
*And paradise will be brought near for the Godwary, it will not be distant [any more]:
50:32
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ
*Haya ndiyo mnayo ahidiwa kwa kila mwenye kurejea kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na akajilinda.
*‘This is what you were promised. [It is] for every penitent and dutiful [servant]
50:33
مَنْ خَشِيَ الرَّحْمَٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَاءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُنِيبٍ
*Mwenye kumwogopa Mwingi wa Rehema hali kuwa hamwoni, na akaja kwa moyo ulio elekea-
*who fears the All-beneficent in secret and comes with a penitent heart.
50:34
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ
*(Ataambiwa) ingieni kwa salama. Hiyo ndiyo siku ya daima dawamu.
*Enter it in peace! This is the day of immortality.’
50:35
لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ
*Humo watapata wakitakacho, na kwetu yako ya ziada.
*There they will have whatever they wish, and with Us there is yet more.
50:36
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِنْ مَحِيصٍ
*Na kaumu ngapi tuliziangamiza kabla yao walio kuwa na nguvu zaidi kuliko hawa! Nao walitanga tanga katika nchi nyingi. Je! Walipata pa kukimbilia?
*How many generations We have destroyed before them, who were stronger than these, insomuch that they ransacked the towns?! So, is there any escape [from Allah’s punishment]?
50:37
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
*Hakika katika hayo upo ukumbusho kwa mwenye moyo au akatega sikio naye yupo anashuhudia.
*There is indeed an admonition in that for one who has a heart, or gives ear, being attentive.
50:38
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِنْ لُغُوبٍ
*Na bila ya shaka Sisi tumeziumba mbingu na ardhi na vilio baina yao mnamo siku sita; na wala hayakutugusa machofu.
*Certainly We created the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, in six days, and any fatigue did not touch Us.
50:39
فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ
*Basi vumilia kwa hayo wasemayo, na mtakase kwa kumsifu Mola wako Mlezi kabla ya kuchomoza jua na kabla ya kuchwa.
*So be patient at what they say, and celebrate the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the sunset,
50:40
وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ
*Na katika usiku pia mtakase, na baada ya kusujudu.
*and glorify Him through part of the night and after the prostrations.
50:41
وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ مِنْ مَكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
*Na sikiliza siku atapo nadi mwenye kunadi kutoka pahala karibu.
*And be on the alert for the day when the caller calls from a close quarter,
50:42
يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ الصَّيْحَةَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُرُوجِ
*Siku watakapo sikia ukelele wa haki. Hiyo ndiyo siku ya kufufuka.
*the day when they hear the Cry in all truth. That is the day of rising [from the dead].
50:43
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيرُ
*Hakika Sisi tunahuisha na tunafisha, na kwetu Sisi ndio marejeo.
*Indeed it is We who give life and bring death, and toward Us is the [final] destination.
50:44
يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ
*Siku itapo wapasukia ardhi mbio mbio! Mkusanyo huo kwetu ni mwepesi.
*The day the earth is split open for [disentombing] them, [they will come out] hastening. That mustering is easy for Us [to carry out].
50:45
نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَنْ يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
*Sisi tunajua kabisa wayasemayo. Wala wewe si mwenye kuwatawalia kwa ujabari. Basi mkumbushe kwa Qur´ani anaye liogopa onyo.
*We know well what they say, and you are not there to compel them. So admonish by the Quran those who fear My threat.
