Sura 51 - Adh-Dhaariyat

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
51:1
وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا
*Naapa kwa pepo zinazo tawanya,
*By the scattering [winds] that scatter [the clouds];
51:2
فَالْحَامِلَاتِ وِقْرًا
*Na zinazo beba mizigo,
*by the [rain] bearing [clouds] laden [with water];
51:3
فَالْجَارِيَاتِ يُسْرًا
*Na zinazo kwenda kwa wepesi.
*by [the ships] which move gently [on the sea];
51:4
فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًا
*Na zinazo gawanya kwa amri,
*by [the angels] who dispense [livelihood] by [His] command:
51:5
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ
*Hakika mnayo ahidiwa bila ya shaka ni kweli,
*indeed what you are promised is true,
51:6
وَإِنَّ الدِّينَ لَوَاقِعٌ
*Na kwa hakika malipo bila ya shaka yatatokea.
*and indeed the retribution will surely come to pass!
51:7
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ
*Naapa kwa mbingu zenye njia,
*By the sky full of adornment [with stars],
51:8
إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي قَوْلٍ مُخْتَلِفٍ
*Hakika nyinyi bila ya shaka mmo katika kauli inayo khitalifiana.
*indeed you are of different opinions!
51:9
يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
*Anageuzwa kutokana na haki mwenye kugeuzwa.
*He who has been turned away [from the truth] is turned away from it.
51:10
قُتِلَ الْخَرَّاصُونَ
*Wazushi wameangamizwa.
*Perish the liars,
51:11
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
*Ambao wameghafilika katika ujinga.
*who are heedless in a stupor!
51:12
يَسْأَلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
*Wanauliza: Ni lini hiyo siku ya malipo?
*They ask, ‘When will be the Day of Retribution?’
51:13
يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
*Hiyo ni siku watakayo adhibiwa Motoni.
*It is the day when they will be tormented in the Fire,
51:14
ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
*Onjeni adhabu yenu! Haya ndiyo mliyo kuwa mkiyahimiza.
*[and will be told]: ‘Taste your torment. This is what you used to hasten.’
51:15
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
*Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika Mabustani na chemchem.
*Indeed the Godwary will be amid gardens and springs,
51:16
آخِذِينَ مَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ
*Wanapokea aliyo wapa Mola wao Mlezi. Kwa hakika hao walikuwa kabla ya haya wakifanya mema.
*receiving what their Lord has given them, for they had been virtuous aforetime.
51:17
كَانُوا قَلِيلًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ
*Walikuwa wakilala kidogo tu usiku.
*They used to sleep a little during the night,
51:18
وَبِالْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
*Na kabla ya alfajiri wakiomba maghfira.
*and at dawns they would plead for forgiveness,
51:19
وَفِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ
*Na katika mali yao ipo haki ya mwenye kuomba na asiye omba.
*and there was a share in their wealth for the beggar and the deprived.
51:20
وَفِي الْأَرْضِ آيَاتٌ لِلْمُوقِنِينَ
*Na katika ardhi zipo Ishara kwa wenye yakini.
*In the earth are signs for those who have conviction,
51:21
وَفِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
*Na pia katika nafsi zenu - Je! Hamwoni?
*and in your souls [as well]. Will you not then perceive?
51:22
وَفِي السَّمَاءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
*Na katika mbingu ziko riziki zenu na mliyo ahidiwa.
*And in the sky is your provision and what you are promised.
51:23
فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَّكُمْ تَنْطِقُونَ
*Basi naapa kwa Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi, hakika haya ni kweli kama ilivyo kweli kuwa nyinyi mnasema.
*By the Lord of the sky and the earth, it is indeed the truth, just as [it is a fact that] you speak.
51:24
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ
*Je! Imekufikia hadithi ya wageni wa Ibrahim wanao hishimiwa?
*Did you receive the story of Abraham’s honoured guests?
51:25
إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَامٌ قَوْمٌ مُنْكَرُونَ
*Walipo ingia kwake wakasema: Salama! Na yeye akasema: Salama! Nyinyi ni watu nisio kujueni.
*When they entered into his presence, they said, ‘Peace!’ ‘Peace!’ He answered, ‘[You are] an unfamiliar folk.’
51:26
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ فَجَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
*Akenda kwa ahali yake na akaja na ndama aliye nona.
*Then he retired to his family and brought a fat [roasted] calf,
51:27
فَقَرَّبَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
*Akawakaribisha, akasema: Mbona hamli?
*and put it near them. He said, ‘Will you not eat?’
51:28
فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِيمٍ
*Akahisi kuwaogopa katika nafsi yake. Wakasema: Usiwe na khofu, nao wakambashiria kupata kijana mwenye ilimu.
*Then he felt a fear of them. They said, ‘Do not be afraid!’ and they gave him the good news of a wise son.
51:29
فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِي صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ
*Ndipo mkewe akawaelekea, na huku anasema na akijipiga usoni kwa mastaajabu, na kusema: Mimi ni kikongwe na tasa!
*Then his wife came forward crying [with joy]. She beat her face, and said, ‘A barren old woman!’
51:30
قَالُوا كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Wakasema: Ndivyo vivyo hivyo alivyo sema Mola wako Mlezi. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye hikima na Mwenye kujua.
*They said, ‘So has your Lord said. Indeed He is the All-wise, the All-knowing.’
51:31
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
*AKASEMA: Basi ujumbe wenu ni nini, enyi mlio tumwa?
*He said, ‘O messengers, what is now your errand?’
51:32
قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُجْرِمِينَ
*Wakasema: Hakika sisi tumetumwa kwa watu wakosefu,
*They said, ‘We have been sent toward a guilty people,
51:33
لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ طِينٍ
*Tuwatupie mawe ya udongo,
*that We may rain upon them stones of clay,
51:34
مُسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
*Yaliyo tiwa alama kutoka kwa Mola wako Mlezi kwa ajili ya wanao pindukia mipaka.
*sent for the transgressors from your Lord.
51:35
فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَنْ كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Kwa hivyo tutawatoa katika hao wale walio amini.
*So We picked out those who were in it of the faithful,
51:36
فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
*Lakini hatukupata humo ila nyumba moja tu yenye Waislamu!
*but We did not find there other than one house of Muslims,
51:37
وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَا آيَةً لِلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
*Na tukaacha humo Ishara kwa ajili ya wanao iogopa adhabu chungu.
*and We have left therein a sign for those who fear a painful punishment.’
51:38
وَفِي مُوسَىٰ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
*Na katika khabari za Musa, tulipo mtuma kwa Firauni na hoja wazi.
*And in Moses [too there is a sign] when We sent him to Pharaoh with a manifest authority.
51:39
فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِ وَقَالَ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
*Lakini alipuuza kwa sababu ya nguvu zake na akasema: Huyu ni mchawi au mwendawazimu!
*But he turned away assured of his might, and said, ‘A magician or a crazy man!’
51:40
فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
*Basi tukamkamata yeye na majeshi yake na tukawatupa baharini, na yeye ndiye wa kulaumiwa.
*So We seized him and his hosts, and cast them into the sea, while he was blameworthy.
51:41
وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ
*Na katika khabari za A´di tulipo wapelekea upepo wa kukata uzazi.
*And in ‘Ad when We unleashed upon them a barren wind.
51:42
مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ
*Haukuacha chochote ulicho kifikia ila ulikifanya kama kilio nyambuka.
*It left nothing that it came upon without making it like decayed bones.
51:43
وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
*Na katika khabari za Thamudi walipo ambiwa: Jifurahisheni kwa muda mdogo tu.
*And in Thamud, when they were told, ‘Enjoy for a while.’
51:44
فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ
*Wakaasi amri ya Mola wao Mlezi. Basi uliwanyakua moto wa radi nao wanaona.
*Then they defied the command of their Lord; so the thunderbolt seized them as they looked on.
51:45
فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِنْ قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْتَصِرِينَ
*Basi hawakuweza kusimama wala hawakuwa wenye kujitetea.
*So they were neither able to rise up, nor to come to one another’s aid.
51:46
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
*Na kaumu ya Nuhu hapo mbele. Hakika hao walikuwa watu wapotovu.
*And the people of Noah aforetime. Indeed, they were a transgressing lot.
51:47
وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
*Na mbingu tumezifanya kwa nguvu na uwezo na hakika Sisi bila ya shaka ndio twenye uwezo wa kuzitanua.
*We have built the heaven with might, and indeed it is We who are its expanders.
51:48
وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ
*Na ardhi tumeitandaza; basi watandazaji wazuri namna gani Sisi!
*And We have spread out the earth, so how excellent spreaders We have been!
51:49
وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
*Na katika kila kitu tumeumba kwa jozi ili mzingatie.
*In all things We have created pairs so that you may take admonition.
51:50
فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ
*Basi kimbilieni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika mimi ni mwonyaji kwenu wa kubainisha nitokae kwake.
*‘So flee toward Allah. Indeed, I am from Him a manifest warner to you.
51:51
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ
*Wala msifanye kuwa kuna mungu mwengine pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika mimi ni mwonyaji kwenu wa kubainisha nitokae kwake.
*Do not set up another god besides Allah. Indeed I am from Him a manifest warner to you.’
51:52
كَذَٰلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
*Basi ndio hivyo hivyo, hakuwajia kabla yao Mtume ila walisema: Huyu ni mchawi au mwendawazimu.
*So it was that there did not come any apostle to those who were before them but they said, ‘A magician,’ or ‘A crazy man!’
51:53
أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
*Je! Wameambizana kwa haya? Bali hawa ni watu waasi.
*Did they enjoin this upon one another?! Rather, they were a rebellious lot.
51:54
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِمَلُومٍ
*Basi waachilie mbali, nawe hulaumiwi.
*So turn away from them, as you will not be blameworthy.
51:55
وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Na kumbusha, kwani ukumbusho huwafaa Waumini.
*And admonish, for admonition indeed benefits the faithful.
51:56
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
*Nami sikuwaumba majini na watu ila waniabudu Mimi.
*I did not create the jinn and the humans except that they may worship Me.
51:57
مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ رِزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يُطْعِمُونِ
*Na sitaki kwao riziki, wala sitaki wanilishe.
*I desire no provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me.
51:58
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye kuruzuku, Mwenye nguvu, Madhubuti.
*Indeed it is Allah who is the All-provider, Powerful and All-strong.
51:59
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
*Hakika walio dhulumu wana fungu lao la adhabu kama fungu la wenzao. Basi wasinihimize.
*Indeed the lot of those who do wrong [now] will be like the lot of their [earlier] counterparts. So let them not ask Me to hasten on [that fate].
51:60
فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
*Ole wao walio ikanusha siku yao waliyo ahidiwa.
*Woe to the faithless for the day they are promised!
