Sura 6 - Al-An'aam

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
6:1
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ
*Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu aliye umba mbingu na ardhi, na akafanya giza na mwangaza. Tena baada ya haya walio kufuru wanawafanya wengine sawa na Mola wao Mlezi.
*All praise belongs to Allah who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Yet the faithless equate [others] with their Lord.
6:2
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰ أَجَلًا ۖ وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى عِنْدَهُ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنْتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ
*Yeye ndiye aliye kuumbeni kwa udongo, kisha akakuhukumieni ajali, na muda maalumu uko kwake tu. Tena baada ya haya nyinyi mnatia shaka.
*It is He who created you from clay, then ordained the term [of your life]—the specified term is with Him—and yet you are in doubt.
6:3
وَهُوَ اللَّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ
*Na Yeye ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu mbinguni na ardhini. Anajua ya ndani yenu na ya nje yenu. Na anajua mnayo yachuma.
*He is Allah in the heavens and on the earth: He knows your secret and your overt [matters], and He knows what you earn.
6:4
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
*Na haiwafikii hata ishara moja katika ishara za Mola wao Mlezi ila wao huwa wenye kuipa nyongo.
*There did not come to them any sign from among the signs of their Lord, but that they used to disregard it.
6:5
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنْبَاءُ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
*Wameikanusha Haki ilipo wajia. Basi zitawajia khabari za yale waliyo kuwa wakiyakejeli.
*They have certainly denied the truth when it came to them, but soon there will come to them the news of what they have been deriding.
6:6
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ
*Jee, hawaoni vizazi vingapi tulivyo viangamiza kabla yao? Tuliwaweka katika nchi tusivyo kuwekeni nyinyi; tukawapelekea mvua nyingi na tukaifanya mito inapita chini yao. Mwishoe tukawaangamiza kwa madhambi yao; na tukaanzisha baada yao kizazi kingine.
*Have they not regarded how many a generation We have destroyed before them whom We had granted power in the land in respects that We did not grant you, and We sent abundant rains for them from the sky and made streams run for them? Then We destroyed them for their sins, and brought forth another generation after them.
6:7
وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
*Na lau tungeli kuteremshia kitabu cha karatasi, wakakigusa kwa mikono yao, wangeli sema walio kufuru: Haya si chochote ila ni uchawi dhaahiri.
*Had We sent down to you a Book on paper so they could touch it with their [own] hands, [still] the faithless would have said, ‘This is nothing but plain magic.’
6:8
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنْزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَقُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْظَرُونَ
*Na wao husema: Mbona hakuteremshiwa Malaika? Na kama tungeli teremsha Malaika, basi bila ya shaka ingesha hukumiwa amri, tena hapo wasingeli pewa muhula.
*They say, ‘Why has not an angel been sent down to him?’ Were We to send down an angel, the matter would surely be decided, and then they would not be granted any respite.
6:9
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ مَلَكًا لَجَعَلْنَاهُ رَجُلًا وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَا يَلْبِسُونَ
*Na kama tungeli mfanya Malaika bila ya shaka tungeli mfanya kama binaadamu, na tungeli watilia matatizo yale wanayo yatatiza wao.
*Had We made him an angel, We would have surely made him a man, and We would have surely confounded them just as they confound [the truth now].
6:10
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا مِنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
*Na hakika Mitume walio kabla yako walifanyiwa kejeli, lakini walio wafanyia kejeli wakaja kuzungukwa na yale yale waliyo kuwa wao wanayafanyia kejeli.
*Apostles were certainly derided before you. Then those who ridiculed them were besieged by what they used to deride.
6:11
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ انْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Sema: Tembeeni ulimwenguni, kisha mtazame ulikuwaje mwisho wa wanao kanusha.
*Say, ‘Travel over the land, and then observe how was the fate of the deniers.’
6:12
قُلْ لِمَنْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ قُلْ لِلَّهِ ۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۚ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Sema: Ni vya nani viliomo katika mbingu na katika ardhi? Sema: Ni vya Mwenyezi Mungu. Yeye amejilazimisha nafsi yake kurehemu. Hakika atakukusanyeni Siku ya Kiyama isiyo kuwa na shaka. Walio jikhasiri wenyewe hawaamini.
*Say, ‘To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth?’ Say, ‘To Allah. He has made mercy incumbent upon Himself. He will surely gather you on the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt. Those who have ruined their souls will not have faith.’
6:13
وَلَهُ مَا سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Na ni vyake vilio tulia usiku na mchana. Naye ndiye Mwenye kusikia na Mwenye kujua.
*To Him belongs whatever abides in the night and the day, and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.
6:14
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ ۗ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ ۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Sema: Je, nimchukue rafiki mlinzi asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu, ambaye ndiye Muumba mbingu na ardhi, naye ndiye anaye lisha wala halishwi? Sema: Mimi nimeamrishwa niwe wa kwanza wa wenye kusilimu. Na wala kabisa usiwe miongoni wa washirikina.
*Say, ‘Shall I take for guardian [anyone] other than Allah, the originator of the heavens and the earth, who feeds and is not fed?’ Say, ‘I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit [to Allah], and [told,] “Never be one of the polytheists.” ’
6:15
قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
*Sema: Mimi naogopa adhabu ya Siku kubwa hiyo ikiwa nitamuasi Mola wangu Mlezi.
*Say, ‘Indeed, should I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a tremendous day.’
6:16
مَنْ يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ
*Siku hiyo yule atakaye epushwa nayo adhabu hiyo atakuwa Mwenyezi Mungu amemrehemu. Na huko ndiko kufuzu kulio wazi.
*Whoever is spared of it on that day, He has certainly been merciful to him, and that is manifest success.
6:17
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
*Na ikiwa Mwenyezi Mungu akikugusisha madhara, basi hapana wa kukuondolea hayo ila Yeye. Na ikiwa akikugusisha kheri, basi Yeye ndiye Mwenye uweza wa kila kitu.
*Should Allah visit you with some distress there is no one to remove it except Him; and should He bring you some good, then He has power over all things.
6:18
وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
*Naye ndiye Mwenye nguvu juu ya waja wake, na ndiye Mwenye hikima na Mwenye khabari zote.
*And He is the All-dominant over His servants, and He is the All-wise, the All-aware.
6:19
قُلْ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۖ شَهِيدٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ لِأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَ ۚ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً أُخْرَىٰ ۚ قُلْ لَا أَشْهَدُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنَّنِي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ
*Sema: Kitu gani ushahidi wake mkubwa kabisa? Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu. Yeye ndiye shahidi baina yangu na nyinyi. Na nimefunuliwa Qur´ani hii ili kwayo nikuonyeni nyinyi na kila inayo mfikia. Ati kweli nyinyi mnashuhudia kuwa pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu wapo miungu wengine? Sema: Mimi sishuhudii hayo. Sema: Hakika Yeye ni Mungu mmoja tu, nami ni mbali na mnao washirikisha.
*Say, ‘What thing is greatest as witness?’ Say, ‘Allah! [He is] witness between me and you, and this Quran has been revealed to me that I may warn thereby you and whomever it may reach.’ ‘Do you indeed bear witness that there are other gods besides Allah?’ Say, ‘I do not bear witness [to any such thing].’ Say, ‘Indeed He is the One God, and I indeed disown what you associate [with Him].’
6:20
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمُ ۘ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Wale Tulio wapa Kitabu wanayajua haya kama wanavyo wajua watoto wao. Wale walio zikhasiri nafsi zao hawaamini.
*Those whom We have given the Book recognize him just as they recognize their sons. Those who have ruined their souls will not have faith.
6:21
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ ۗ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
*Na nani dhaalimu zaidi kuliko anaye mzulia uwongo Mwenyezi Mungu, na akazikanusha Ishara zake? Hakika madhaalimu hawafanikiwi.
*Who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates a lie against Allah, or denies His signs? Indeed the wrongdoers will not be felicitous.
6:22
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا أَيْنَ شُرَكَاؤُكُمُ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
*Siku tutapo wakusanya wote pamoja, kisha tuwaambie walio shirikisha: Wako wapi washirikishwa wenu mlio kuwa mnadai?
*On the day when We gather them all together, We shall say to those who ascribed partners [to Allah] ‘Where are your partners that you used to claim?’
6:23
ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا وَاللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ
*Kisha hautakuwa udhuru wao ila ni kusema: Wallahi! Mola wetu Mlezi! Hatukuwa washirikina.
*Then their only excuse will be to say, ‘By Allah, our Lord, we were not polytheists.’
6:24
انْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ ۚ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
*Tazama jinsi wanavyo jisemea uwongo wenyewe. Na yamewapotea waliyo kuwa wakiyazua.
*Look, how they forswear themselves, and what they used to fabricate has forsaken them!
6:25
وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَنْ يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا ۚ وَإِنْ يَرَوْا كُلَّ آيَةٍ لَا يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَا ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Na wapo miongoni mwao wanao kusikiliza; na tumezitia pazia nyoyo zao wasije kuyafahamu. Na upo uziwi masikioni mwao, na wakiona kila Ishara hawaiamini. Hata wakikujia kwa kujadiliana nawe, wanasema walio kufuru: Hizi si chochote ila hadithi za watu wa kale.
*There are some of them who prick up their ears at you, but We have cast veils on their hearts lest they should understand it, and a deafness into their ears; and though they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. When they come to you, to dispute with you, the faithless say, ‘These are nothing but myths of the ancients.’
6:26
وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ ۖ وَإِنْ يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
*Nao huwazuia watu, na wao wenyewe wanajitenga nayo. Nao hawaangamizi ila nafsi zao tu, wala wao hawatambui.
*They dissuade [others] from [following] him, and [themselves] avoid him; yet they destroy no one except themselves, but they are not aware.
6:27
وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذْ وُقِفُوا عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُوا يَا لَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
*Na unge ona watakapo simamishwa kwenye Moto, wakawa wanasema: Laiti tungeli rudishwa, wala hatutakanusha tena Ishara za Mola wetu Mlezi, na tutakuwa miongoni wa Waumini.
*Were you to see when they are brought to a halt by the Fire, whereupon they will say, ‘If only we were sent back [into the world]! Then we will not deny the signs of our Lord, and we will be among the faithful!’
6:28
بَلْ بَدَا لَهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُخْفُونَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَوْ رُدُّوا لَعَادُوا لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
*Bali yamewadhihirikia waliyo kuwa wakiyaficha zamani. Na kama wangeli rudishwa bila ya shaka wange yarejea yale yale waliyo katazwa. Na hakika hao ni waongo.
*Indeed, what they used to hide before has now become evident to them. But were they to be sent back they would revert to what they were forbidden, and they are indeed liars.
6:29
وَقَالُوا إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ
*Na walisema: Hakuna mengine ila maisha yetu haya ya duniani, wala sisi hatutafufuliwa.
*They say, ‘There is nothing but our life of this world, and we shall not be resurrected.’
6:30
وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذْ وُقِفُوا عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ قَالَ أَلَيْسَ هَٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَا ۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
*Na lau ungeli ona watavyo simamishwa mbele ya Mola wao Mlezi, akawaambia: Je, si kweli haya? Na wao watasema: Kwani? Tunaapa kwa Mola Mlezi wetu ni kweli. Yeye atasema: Basi onjeni adhabu kwa sababu ya vile mlivyo kuwa mnakataa.
*Were you to see when they are brought to a halt before their Lord. He will say, ‘Is this not a fact?’ They will say, ‘Yes, by our Lord!’ He will say, ‘So taste the punishment because of what you used to deny.’
6:31
قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ اللَّهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُوا يَا حَسْرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمْ ۚ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
*Hakika wamekhasirika walio kanusha kukutana na Mwenyezi Mungu, mpaka ilipo wajia Saa kwa ghafla, wakasema: Ole wetu kwa tuliyo yapuuza! Nao watabeba mizigo yao juu ya migongo yao. Ni maovu hayo wanayo yabeba.
*They are certainly losers who deny the encounter with Allah. When the Hour overtakes them suddenly, they will say, ‘Alas for us, for what we neglected in it!’ And they will bear their burdens on their backs. Look! Evil is what they bear!
6:32
وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ ۖ وَلَلدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
*Na maisha ya dunia si chochte ila ni mchezo na pumbao tu. Na hakika nyumba ya Akhera ni bora zaidi kwa wanao mcha Mungu. Basi, je, hamtii akilini?
*The life of the world is nothing but play and diversion, and the abode of the Hereafter is surely better for those who are Godwary. Do you not exercise your reason?
6:33
قَدْ نَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُ لَيَحْزُنُكَ الَّذِي يَقُولُونَ ۖ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ
*Tunajua ya kwamba yanakuhuzunisha wanayo yasema. Basi hakika wao hawakukanushi wewe, lakini hao madhaalimu wanazikataa Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu.
*We certainly know that what they say grieves you. Yet it is not you that they deny, but it is Allah’s signs that the wrongdoers impugn.
6:34
وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُوا عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُوا وَأُوذُوا حَتَّىٰ أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا ۚ وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكَ مِنْ نَبَإِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
*Na hakika walikanushwa Mitume wa kabla yako. Nao wakavumilia kule kukanushwa, na kuudhiwa, mpaka ilipo wafikia nusura yetu. Na hapana wa kubadilisha maneno ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na bila ya shaka zimekujia baadhi ya khabari za Mitume hao.
*Apostles were certainly denied before you, yet they patiently bore being denied and tormented until Our help came to them. Nothing can change the words of Allah, and there have certainly come to you some of the accounts of the apostles.
6:35
وَإِنْ كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكَ إِعْرَاضُهُمْ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَبْتَغِيَ نَفَقًا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ سُلَّمًا فِي السَّمَاءِ فَتَأْتِيَهُمْ بِآيَةٍ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ ۚ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ
*Na ikiwa ni makubwa kwako huku kukataa kwao, basi kama unaweza kutafuta njia ya chini kwa chini ya ardhi, au ngazi kwendea mbinguni ili uwaletee Ishara -- Na lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu angependa angeli wakusanya kwenye uwongofu. Basi usiwe miongoni mwa wasio jua.
*And should their aversion be hard on you, find, if you can, a tunnel into the ground, or a ladder into sky, that you may bring them a sign. Had Allah wished, He would have brought them together on guidance. So do not be one of the ignorant.
6:36
إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ الَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ ۘ وَالْمَوْتَىٰ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ
*Hakika wanao kubali ni wale wanao sikia. Na ama wafu Mwenyezi Mungu atawafufua, na kisha kwake Yeye ndio watarejeshwa.
*Only those who listen will respond [to you]. As for the dead, Allah will resurrect them, then they will be brought back to Him.
6:37
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يُنَزِّلَ آيَةً وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na wamesema: Kwa nini hakuteremshiwa muujiza kutoka kwa Mola wake Mlezi? Sema: Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza wa kuteremsha muujiza. Lakini wengi wao hawajui.
*They say, ‘Why has not a sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘Allah is indeed able to send down a sign,’ but most of them do not know.
6:38
وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ ۚ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ
*Na hapana mnyama katika ardhi, wala ndege anaye ruka kwa mbawa zake mbili, ila ni umma kama nyinyi. Hatukupuuza Kitabuni kitu chochote. Kisha kwa Mola wao Mlezi watakusanywa.
*There is no animal on land, nor a bird that flies with its wings, but they are communities like yourselves. We have not omitted anything from the Book. Then they will be mustered toward their Lord.
6:39
وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ ۗ مَنْ يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَنْ يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
*Na walio kanusha Ishara zetu ni viziwi na mabubu waliomo gizani. Mwenyezi Mungu humwachia kupotea amtakaye, na humweka katika Njia iliyo nyooka amtakaye.
*Those who deny Our signs are deaf and dumb, in a manifold darkness. Allah leads astray whomever He wishes, and whomever He wishes He puts him on a straight path.
6:40
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ السَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Sema: Mwaonaje ikikujieni adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, au ikakufikieni hiyo Saa - mtamwomba asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu, ikiwa nyinyi ni wakweli?
*Say, ‘Tell me, should Allah’s punishment overtake you, or should the Hour overtake you, will you supplicate anyone other than Allah, should you be truthful?
6:41
بَلْ إِيَّاهُ تَدْعُونَ فَيَكْشِفُ مَا تَدْعُونَ إِلَيْهِ إِنْ شَاءَ وَتَنْسَوْنَ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ
*Bali Yeye ndiye mtakaye mwomba, naye atakuondoleeni mnacho mwombea akipenda. Na mtasahau hao mnao wafanya washirika wake.
*No, Him you will supplicate, and He will remove that for which you supplicated Him, if He wishes, and you will forget what you ascribe [to Him] as [His] partners.’
6:42
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
*Na kwa yakini tulipeleka Mitume kwa kaumu zilizo kuwa kabla yako, kisha tukazitia katika dhiki na mashaka ili zipate kunyenyekea.
*We have certainly sent [apostles] to nations before you, then We seized them with stress and distress so that they might entreat [Us].
6:43
فَلَوْلَا إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوا وَلَٰكِنْ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Kwa nini wasinyenyekee ilipo wafika adhabu yetu? Lakini nyoyo zao zilikuwa ngumu, na Shet´ani akawapambia waliyo kuwa wakiyafanya.
*Why did they not entreat when Our punishment overtook them! But their hearts had hardened, and Satan had made what they had been doing seem decorous to them.
6:44
فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِمَا أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ مُبْلِسُونَ
*Basi walipo sahau walio kumbushwa tuliwafungulia milango ya kila kitu. Mpaka walipo furahia yale waliyo pewa tuliwashika kwa ghafla, na mara wakawa wenye kukata tamaa.
*So when they forgot what they had been admonished of, We opened for them the gates of all [good] things. When they became proud of what they were given, We seized them suddenly, whereat, behold, they were despondent.
6:45
فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ۚ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Ikakatwa mizizi ya watu walio dhulumu - na wa kuhimidiwa ni Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola Mlezi wa viumbe vyote.
*Thus the wrongdoing lot were rooted out, and all praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
6:46
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِهِ ۗ انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ
*Sema: Mwaonaje Mwenyezi Mungu akanyakua kusikia kwenu, na kuona kwenu, na akaziziba nyoyo zenu, ni mungu gani asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ataye kuleteeni hayo tena? Angalia vipi tunavyo zieleza Ishara, kisha wao wanapuuza.
*Say, ‘Tell me, should Allah take away your hearing and your sight and set a seal on your hearts, which god other than Allah can bring it [back] to you?’ Look, how We paraphrase the signs variously; nevertheless they turn away.
6:47
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللَّهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
*Sema: Mwaonaje, ikikufikieni adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwa ghafla, au kwa dhaahiri, jee wataangamizwa isipo kuwa walio dhulumu?
*Say, ‘Tell me, should Allah’s punishment overtake you suddenly or visibly, will anyone be destroyed except the wrongdoing lot?’
6:48
وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنْذِرِينَ ۖ فَمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
*Na hatuwatumi Mitume ila huwa ni wabashiri na waonyaji. Na wenye kuamini na wakatenda mema haitakuwa khofu juu yao, wala hawatahuzunika.
*We do not send the apostles except as bearers of good news and warners. As for those who are faithful and righteous, they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.
6:49
وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ الْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
*Na walio kanusha Ishara zetu itawagusa adhabu kwa walivyo kuwa wakipotoka.
*But as for those who deny Our signs, the punishment shall befall them because of the transgressions they used to commit.
6:50
قُلْ لَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِنْدِي خَزَائِنُ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ وَلَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّي مَلَكٌ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
*Sema: Mimi sikwambiini kuwa ninazo khazina za Mwenyezi Mungu. Wala sijui mambo yaliyo fichikana. Wala sikwambiini kuwa mimi ni Malaika. Mimi sifuati ila yanayo funuliwa kwangu. Sema: Je, wanakuwa sawa, kipofu na mwenye kuona. Basi hamfikiri?
*Say, ‘I do not say to you that I possess the treasuries of Allah, nor do I know the Unseen, nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I follow only what is revealed to me.’ Say, ‘Are the blind one and the seer equal? So do you not reflect?’
6:51
وَأَنْذِرْ بِهِ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْ يُحْشَرُوا إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ ۙ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلَا شَفِيعٌ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
*Na waonye kwayo wanao ogopa kuwa watakusanywa kwa Mola wao Mlezi, hali kuwa hawana mlinzi wala mwombezi isipo kuwa Yeye, ili wapate kuchamngu.
*And warn by its means those who fear being mustered toward their Lord, besides whom they shall have neither any guardian nor any intercessor, so that they may be Godwary.
6:52
وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ ۖ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Wala usiwafukuze wanao mwomba Mola Mlezi wao asubuhi na jioni kwa kutaka radhi yake. Si juu yako hisabu yao hata kidogo, wala hisabu yako si juu yao hata kidogo, hata uwafukuze na uwe miongoni mwa wenye kudhulumu.
*Do not drive away those who supplicate their Lord morning and evening desiring His face. Neither are you accountable for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way, so that you may drive them away and thus become one of the wrongdoers.
6:53
وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لِيَقُولُوا أَهَٰؤُلَاءِ مَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ بَيْنِنَا ۗ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِالشَّاكِرِينَ
*Na hivi ndivyo tunavyo wajaribu wao kwa wao, ili waseme: Ni hao ndio Mwenyezi Mungu amewafadhilisha miongoni mwetu? Kwani Mwenyezi Mungu hawajui wanao shukuru?
*Thus do We test them by means of one another so that they should say, ‘Are these the ones whom Allah has favoured from among us?!’ Does not Allah know best the grateful?!
6:54
وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Na wanapo kujia wanao ziamini Ishara zetu waambie: Assalamu alaikum! Amani iwe juu yenu! Mola wenu Mlezi amejilazimisha rehema, ya kwamba atakaye fanya uovu miongoni mwenu kwa ujinga, kisha akatubu baada yake na akatengenea, basi hakika Yeye ni Mwenye maghfira na Mwenye kurehemu.
*When those who have faith in Our signs come to you, say, ‘Peace to you! Your Lord has made mercy incumbent upon Himself: whoever of you commits an evil [deed] out of ignorance and then repents after that and reforms, then He is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful.’
6:55
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
*Na ndio hivi tunavyo zieleza Ishara ili ibainike njia ya wakosefu.
*Thus do We elaborate the signs, so that the way of the guilty may be exposed.
6:56
قُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ لَا أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَاءَكُمْ ۙ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ
*Sema: Mimi nimekatazwa kuwaabudu hao mnao waomba badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Sema: mimi sifuati matamanio yenu. Hivyo nitakuwa nimepotea, na sitakuwa miongoni mwa walio ongoka.
*Say, ‘I have been forbidden to worship those whom you invoke besides Allah.’ Say, ‘I do not follow your desires, for then I will have gone astray, and I will not be among the [rightly] guided.’
6:57
قُلْ إِنِّي عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَكَذَّبْتُمْ بِهِ ۚ مَا عِنْدِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِ ۚ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۖ يَقُصُّ الْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْفَاصِلِينَ
*Sema: Mimi nipo kwenye sharia iliyo wazi itokayo kwa Mola wangu Mlezi, nanyi mnaikanusha. Mimi sinacho hicho mnacho kihimiza. Hapana hukumu ila ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Yeye anasimulia yaliyo kweli; naye ni Mbora wa kuhukumu kuliko wote.
*Say, ‘Indeed I stand on a manifest proof from my Lord and you have denied it. What you seek to hasten is not up to me. Judgement belongs only to Allah; He expounds the truth and He is the best of judges.’
6:58
قُلْ لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِ لَقُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالظَّالِمِينَ
*Sema: Lau kuwa ninacho hicho mnacho kihimiza, ingeli kwisha katwa shauri baina yangu na nyinyi. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anawashinda wote kuwajua madhaalimu.
*Say, ‘If what you seek to hasten were with me, the matter would surely have been decided between you and me, and Allah knows best the wrongdoers.’
6:59
وَعِنْدَهُ مَفَاتِحُ الْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۚ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَرَقَةٍ إِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا وَلَا حَبَّةٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ وَلَا رَطْبٍ وَلَا يَابِسٍ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
*Na ziko kwake funguo za ghaibu; hakuna azijuaye ila Yeye tu. Na Yeye anajua kilioko nchi kavu na baharini. Na halidondoki jani ila analijua. Wala punje katika giza la ardhi, wala kinyevu, wala kikavu ila kimo katika Kitabu kinacho bainisha.
*With Him are the treasures of the Unseen; no one knows them except Him. He knows whatever there is in land and sea. No leaf falls without His knowing it, nor is there a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything fresh or withered but it is in a manifest Book.
6:60
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا جَرَحْتُمْ بِالنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُكُمْ فِيهِ لِيُقْضَىٰ أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Naye ndiye anaye kufisheni usiku, na anakijua mlicho fanya mchana. Kisha Yeye hukufufueni humo mchana ili muda ulio wekwa utimizwe. Kisha kwake Yeye ndiyo marejeo yenu, na tena akwambieni mliyo kuwa mkiyafanya.
*It is He who takes your souls by night, and He knows what you do by day, then He reanimates you therein so that a specified term may be completed. Then to Him will be your return, whereat He will inform you concerning what you used to do.
6:61
وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ ۖ وَيُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكُمْ حَفَظَةً حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لَا يُفَرِّطُونَ
*Naye ndiye Mwenye nguvu za kushinda, aliye juu ya waja wake. Na hukupelekeeni waangalizi, mpaka mmoja wenu yakimjia mauti wajumbe wetu humfisha, nao hawafanyi taksiri.
*He is the All-dominant over His servants, and He sends guards to [protect] you. When death approaches anyone of you, Our messengers take him away and they do not neglect [their duty].
6:62
ثُمَّ رُدُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلَاهُمُ الْحَقِّ ۚ أَلَا لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَهُوَ أَسْرَعُ الْحَاسِبِينَ
*Kisha watarudishwa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola wao wa Haki. Hakika, hukumu ni yake. Naye ni Mwepesi kuliko wote wanao hisabu.
*Then they are returned to Allah, their real master. Look! All judgement belongs to Him, and He is the swiftest of reckoners.
6:63
قُلْ مَنْ يُنَجِّيكُمْ مِنْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ تَدْعُونَهُ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً لَئِنْ أَنْجَانَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
*Sema: Ni nani anaye kuokoeni katika giza la nchi kavu na baharini? Mnamwomba kwa unyenyekevu na kwa siri, mkisema: Kama akituokoa na haya bila ya shaka tutakuwa miongoni mwa wanao shukuru.
*Say, ‘Who delivers you from the darkness of land and sea, [when] You invoke Him suppliantly and secretly: ‘‘If He delivers us from this, we will surely be among the grateful’’?’
6:64
قُلِ اللَّهُ يُنَجِّيكُمْ مِنْهَا وَمِنْ كُلِّ كَرْبٍ ثُمَّ أَنْتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ
*Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu hukuokoeni kutoka hayo, na kutoka kila mashaka, na kisha nyinyi mnamshirikisha!
*Say, ‘It is Allah who delivers you from them and from every agony, [but] then you ascribe partners [to Him].’
6:65
قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِنْ فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُمْ بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ ۗ انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ
*Sema: Yeye ndiye Muweza wa kukuleteeni adhabu kutoka juu yenu au kutoka chini ya miguu yenu, au kukuleteeni fujo la mfarakano, na kuwaonjesha baadhi yenu jeuri ya wenzao. Tazama vipi tunavyo zieleza Aya ili wapate kufahamu.
*Say, ‘He is able to send upon you a punishment from above you or from under your feet, or confound you as [hostile] factions, and make you taste one another’s violence.’ Look, how We paraphrase the signs variously so that they may understand!
6:66
وَكَذَّبَ بِهِ قَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ ۚ قُلْ لَسْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِوَكِيلٍ
*Na watu wako wameikanusha, nayo ni Haki. Sema: Mimi sikuwakilishwa juu yenu.
*Your people have denied it, though it is the truth. Say, ‘It is not my business to watch over you.’
6:67
لِكُلِّ نَبَإٍ مُسْتَقَرٌّ ۚ وَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
*Kila khabari ina kipindi chake. Nanyi mtakuja jua.
*For every prophecy there is a [preordained] setting, and soon you will know.
6:68
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ وَإِمَّا يُنْسِيَنَّكَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلَا تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ الذِّكْرَىٰ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Na unapo waona wanao ziingilia Aya zetu, basi jitenge nao mpaka waingilie mazungumzo mengine. Na kama Shet´ani akikusahaulisha, basi baada ya kutanabahi usikae pamoja na watu madhaalimu.
*When you see those who gossip impiously about Our signs, avoid them until they engage in some other discourse; but if Satan makes you forget, then, after remembering, do not sit with the wrongdoing lot.
6:69
وَمَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ وَلَٰكِنْ ذِكْرَىٰ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
*Wala wamchao Mungu hawana jukumu lolote kwao, lakini ni kukumbusha, asaa wapate kujiepusha.
*Those who are Godwary are in no way accountable for them, but this is merely for admonition’s sake, so that they may beware.
6:70
وَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَنْ تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلَا شَفِيعٌ وَإِنْ تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لَا يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُوا بِمَا كَسَبُوا ۖ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ
*Waachilie mbali walio ifanya dini yao ni mchezo na pumbao, na uhai wa dunia ukawaghuri. Nawe kumbusha kwayo, isije nafsi ikaangamizwa kwa sababu ya iliyo yachuma, nayo haina mlinzi wala mwombezi ila Mwenyezi Mungu. Na ingatoa kila fidia haitokubaliwa. Hao ndio walio angamizwa kwa sababu ya yale waliyo yachuma. Wao watapata kinywaji cha maji ya moto kabisa, na adhabu chungu.
*Leave alone those who take their religion for play and diversion and whom the life of this world has deceived, and admonish with it, lest any soul should perish because of what it has earned: It shall not have any guardian besides Allah, nor any intercessor; and though it should offer every kind of ransom, it shall not be accepted from it. They are the ones who perish because of what they have earned; they shall have boiling water for drink and a painful punishment because of what they used to defy.
6:71
قُلْ أَنَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ كَالَّذِي اسْتَهْوَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فِي الْأَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَهُ أَصْحَابٌ يَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى الْهُدَى ائْتِنَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىٰ ۖ وَأُمِرْنَا لِنُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Sema: Je, tumuombe asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ambae hatufai wala hatudhuru, na turejee nyuma baada ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwisha tuhidi? Tuwe kama ambao mashet´ani wamempumbaza katika ardhi, amebabaika? Anao marafiki wanao mwita ende kwenye uwongofu, wakimwambia: Njoo kwetu! Sema: Hakika uwongofu wa Mwenyezi Mungu ndio Uwongofu. Nasi tumeamrishwa tusilimu kwa Mola Mlezi wa viumbe vyote,
*Say, ‘Shall we invoke besides Allah that which can neither benefit us nor harm us, and turn back on our heels after Allah has guided us, like someone seduced by the devils and bewildered on the earth, who has companions that invite him to guidance, [saying,] ‘‘Come to us!’’?’ Say, ‘Indeed it is the guidance of Allah which is [true] guidance. And we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of all the worlds,
6:72
وَأَنْ أَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّقُوهُ ۚ وَهُوَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
*Na mshike Sala, na mcheni Yeye, na kwake Yeye ndiko mtako kusanywa.
*and that ‘‘Maintain the prayer and be wary of Him, and it is He toward whom you will be gathered.’’ ’
6:73
وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ ۚ قَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ ۚ وَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ ۚ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
*Naye ndiye aliye ziumba mbingu na ardhi kwa Haki. Na anaposema: Kuwa! Basi huwa. Kauli yake ni Haki. Na ufalme wote ni wake Siku litapo pulizwa barugumu, Mjuzi wa yaliyo fichikana na yanayo onekana. Naye ndiye Mwenye hikima na Mwenye khabari.
*It is He who created the heavens and the earth with reason, and the day He says [to something], ‘Be!’ it is. His word is the truth, and to Him belongs all sovereignty on the day when the Trumpet will be blown. Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, He is the All-wise, the All-aware.
6:74
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ آزَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا آلِهَةً ۖ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
*Na pale Ibrahim alipo mwambia baba yake, Azar: Unayafanya masanamu kuwa ni miungu? Hakika mimi nakuona wewe na watu wako mmo katika opotofu ulio wazi.
*When Abraham said to Azar, his father, ‘Do you take idols for gods? Indeed I see you and your people in manifest error.’
6:75
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُوقِنِينَ
*Na kadhaalika tulimwonyesha Ibrahim ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi, na ili awe miongoni mwa wenye yakini.
*Thus did We show Abraham the dominions of the heavens and the earth, that he might be of those who possess certitude.
6:76
فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَىٰ كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَا أُحِبُّ الْآفِلِينَ
*Na ulipo muingilia usiku akiona nyota, akasema: Huyu ni Mola Mlezi wangu. Ilipo tua akasema: Siwapendi wanao tua.
*When night darkened over him, he saw a star and said, ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said, ‘I do not like those who set.’
6:77
فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِنْ لَمْ يَهْدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الضَّالِّينَ
*Alipo uona mwezi unachomoza alisema: Huyu ndiye Mola Mlezi wangu. Ulipotua akasema: Kama Mola Mlezi wangu hakuniongoa, nitakuwa katika kaumu walio potea.
*Then, when he saw the moon rising, he said, ‘This is my Lord!’ But when it set, he said, ‘Had my Lord not guided me, I would surely have been among the astray lot.’
6:78
فَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي هَٰذَا أَكْبَرُ ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ
*Na alipo liona jua linachomoza akasema: Huyu ndiye Mola Mlezi wangu. Huyu mkubwa kuliko wote. Lilipo tua, alisema: Enyi watu wangu! Mimi simo katika hayo mnayo fanyia ushirikina.
*Then, when he saw the sun rising, he said, ‘This is my Lord! This is bigger!’ But when it set, he said, ‘O my people, indeed I disown what you take as [His] partners.’
6:79
إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Hakika mimi nimeuelekeza uso wangu sawa sawa kwa aliye ziumba mbingu na ardhi, wala mimi si miongoni mwa washirikina.
*‘Indeed I have turned my face toward Him who originated the heavens and the earth, as a Hanif, and I am not one of the polytheists.’
6:80
وَحَاجَّهُ قَوْمُهُ ۚ قَالَ أَتُحَاجُّونِّي فِي اللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانِ ۚ وَلَا أَخَافُ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ بِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ رَبِّي شَيْئًا ۗ وَسِعَ رَبِّي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۗ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
*Na watu wake wakamhoji. Akasema: Je, mnanihoji juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na hali Yeye ameniongoa? Wala siogopi hao mnao washirikisha naye, ila Mola wangu Mlezi akipenda kitu. Mola wangu Mlezi amekusanya ilimu ya kila kitu. Basi je, hamkumbuki?
*His people argued with him. He said, ‘Do you argue with me concerning Allah, while He has guided me for certain? I do not fear what you ascribe to Him as [His] partners, excepting anything that my Lord may wish. My Lord embraces all things in [His] knowledge. Will you not then take admonition?
6:81
وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَا أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلَا تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُمْ بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا ۚ فَأَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالْأَمْنِ ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
*Na vipi nivikhofu hivyo mnavyo vishirikisha, hali nyinyi hamkhofu kuwa nyinyi mmemshirikisha Mwenyezi Mungu na kitu ambacho hakukiteremshia uthibitisho. Basi kundi gani katika mawili haya lina haki zaidi kupata amani, kama nyinyi mnajua?
*How could I fear what you ascribe [to Him] as [His] partners, when you do not fear ascribing to Allah partners for which He has not sent down any authority to you? So [tell me,] which of the two sides has a greater right to safety, if you know?
6:82
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الْأَمْنُ وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
*Wale ambao wameamini, na hawakuchanganya imani yao na dhulma - hao ndio watakao pata amani na wao ndio walio ongoka.
*Those who have faith and do not taint their faith with wrongdoing—for such there shall be safety, and they are the [rightly] guided.’
6:83
وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَا آتَيْنَاهَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ ۚ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَنْ نَشَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na hizo ndizo hoja zetu tulizo mpa Ibrahim kuhojiana na watu wake. Tunamnyanyua kwa vyeo tumtakaye. Hakika Mola Mlezi wako ni Mwenye hikima na Mwenye ujuzi.
*This was Our argument that We gave to Abraham against his people. We raise in rank whomever We wish. Indeed your Lord is all-wise, all-knowing.
6:84
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۚ كُلًّا هَدَيْنَا ۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَيْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
*Na tukamtunukia (Ibrahim) Is-haq na Yaakub. Kila mmoja wao tulimwongoa. Na Nuhu tulimwongoa kabla. Na katika kizazi chake tulimwongoa Daud na Suleiman na Ayyub na Yusuf na Musa na Harun. Na hivi ndivyo tunavyo walipa wafanyao wema.
*And We gave him Isaac and Jacob and guided each of them. And Noah We had guided before, and from his offspring, David and Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron—thus do We reward the virtuous—
6:85
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلْيَاسَ ۖ كُلٌّ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
*Na Zakaria na Yahya na Isa na Ilyas. Wote walikuwa miongoni mwa watu wema.
*and Zechariah, John, Jesus and Ilyas—each of them among the righteous—
6:86
وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًا ۚ وَكُلًّا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
*Na Ismail, na Al Yasaa, na Yunus, na Lut´. Na wote tuliwafadhilisha juu ya walimwengu wote.
*and Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah and Lot—each We graced over all the nations—
6:87
وَمِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَانِهِمْ ۖ وَاجْتَبَيْنَاهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
*Na kutokana na baba zao, na vizazi vyao na ndugu zao. Na tukawateuwa na tukawaongoa kwenye Njia iliyo nyooka.
*and from among their fathers, their descendants and brethren—We chose them and guided them to a straight path.
6:88
ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Hiyo ni hidaya ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Kwa hiyo humhidi amtakaye katika waja wake. Na lau wangeli mshirikisha yangeli waharibikia waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*That is Allah’s guidance: with it, He guides whomever He wishes of His servants. But were they to ascribe any partners [to Allah], what they used to do would not avail them.
6:89
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ۚ فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَٰؤُلَاءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَيْسُوا بِهَا بِكَافِرِينَ
*Hao ndio tulio wapa Vitabu na hukumu na Unabii. Ikiwa hawa watayakataa hayo, basi tumekwisha yawakilisha kwa watu wasio yakataa.
*They are the ones whom We gave the Book, judgement and prophethood. So if these disbelieve in them, We have certainly entrusted them to a people who will never disbelieve in them.
6:90
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللَّهُ ۖ فَبِهُدَاهُمُ اقْتَدِهْ ۗ قُلْ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
*Hao ndio ambao Mwenyezi Mungu amewahidi. Basi fuata hidaya yao. Sema: Mimi sikuombeni ujira. Haya hayakuwa ila ni mawaidha kwa walimwengu wote.
*They are the ones whom Allah has guided. So follow their guidance. Say, ‘I do not ask you any recompense for it. It is just an admonition for all the nations.’
6:91
وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ إِذْ قَالُوا مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنْزَلَ الْكِتَابَ الَّذِي جَاءَ بِهِ مُوسَىٰ نُورًا وَهُدًى لِلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُمْ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوا أَنْتُمْ وَلَا آبَاؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِي خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
*Na hawakumkadiria Mwenyezi Mungu kwa haki ya kadri yake, walipo sema: Mwenyezi Mungu hakumteremshia mwanaadamu chochote. Sema: Nani aliyo teremsha Kitabu alicho kuja nacho Musa, chenye nuru na uwongofu kwa watu, mlicho kifanya kurasa kurasa mkizionyesha, na mengi mkiyaficha. Na mkafunzwa mlio kuwa hamyajui nyinyi wala baba zenu? Sema: Mwenyezi Mungu. Kisha waache wacheze katika porojo lao.
*They did not regard Allah with the regard due to Him when they said, ‘Allah has not sent down anything to any human.’ Say, ‘Who had sent down the Book that was brought by Moses as a light and guidance for the people, which you make into parchments that you display, while you conceal much of it, and [by means of which] you were taught what you did not know, [neither] you nor your fathers?’ Say, ‘Allah!’ Then leave them to play around in their impious gossip.
6:92
وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُصَدِّقُ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنْذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا ۚ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
*Na hiki ni Kitabu tulicho kiteremsha, kilicho barikiwa, chenye kuhakikisha yaliyo tangulia, na ili uuwonye Mama wa Miji na walio pembezoni mwake. Na wenye kuamini Akhera wanakiamini hichi, nao wanazihifadhi Sala zao.
*Blessed is this Book, which We have sent down, confirming what was [revealed] before it, so that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are watchful of their prayers.
6:93
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ قَالَ سَأُنْزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ بَاسِطُو أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُوا أَنْفُسَكُمُ ۖ الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنْتُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
*Nani dhaalimu mkubwa kuliko yule anaye mzuliya uwongo Mwenyezi Mungu, au anaye sema: Mimi nimeletewa wahyi; na hali hakuletewa wahyi wowote. Na yule anaye sema: Nitateremsha kama alivyo teremsha Mwenyezi Mungu. Na lau ungeli waona madhaalimu wanavyo kuwa katika mahangaiko ya mauti, na Malaika wamewanyooshea mikono wakiwambia: Zitoeni roho zenu! Leo mtalipwa adhabu ya fedheha kwa sababu ya mliyo kuwa mkiyasema juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu yasiyo ya haki, na mlivyo kuwa mkizifanyia kiburi Ishara zake.
*Who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates a lie against Allah, or says, ‘It has been revealed to me,’ while nothing was revealed to him, and he who says, ‘I will bring the like of what Allah has sent down?’ Were you to see when the wrongdoers are in the throes of death, and the angels extend their hands [saying]: ‘Give up your souls! Today you shall be requited with a humiliating punishment because of what you used to attribute to Allah untruly, and for your being disdainful towards His signs.’
6:94
وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَادَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَرَكْتُمْ مَا خَوَّلْنَاكُمْ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَاءُ ۚ لَقَدْ تَقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْكُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
*Nanyi mlitujia wapweke kama tulivyo kuumbeni mara ya kwanza. Na mkayaacha nyuma yenu yote tuliyo kupeni, na wala hatuwaoni hao waombezi wenu, ambao mlidai kuwa ni washirika wa Mwenyezi Mungu kwenu. Yamekatika makhusiano baina yenu, na yamekupoteeni mliyo kuwa mkidai.
*‘Certainly you have come to Us alone, just as We created you the first time, and left behind whatever We had bestowed on you. We do not see your intercessors with you—those whom you claimed to be [Our] partners in [deciding] you[r] [fate]. Certainly all links between you have been cut, and what you used to claim has forsaken you!’
6:95
إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَىٰ ۖ يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتِ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
*Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye mpasuaji mbegu na kokwa, zikachipua. Humtoa aliye hai kutoka maiti, naye ni mtoaji maiti kutokana na aliye hai. Huyo ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu. Basi vipi mnageuzwa?
*Indeed Allah is the splitter of the grain and the pit. He brings forth the living from the dead and He brings forth the dead from the living. That is Allah! Then where do you stray?
6:96
فَالِقُ الْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
*Ndiye anaye pambazua mwangaza wa asubuhi; na ameufanya usiku kwa mapumziko na utulivu, na jua na mwezi kwenda kwa hisabu. Hayo ndiyo makadirio ya Aliye tukuka Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye ujuzi.
*Splitter of the dawn, He has made the night for rest, and the sun and the moon for calculation. That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing.
6:97
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na Yeye ndiye aliye kuwekeeni nyota ili mwongoke kwazo katika kiza cha bara na bahari. Hakika tumezichambua Ishara hizi kwa watu wanao jua.
*It is He who made the stars for you, so that you may be guided by them in the darkness of land and sea. We have certainly elaborated the signs for a people who have knowledge.
6:98
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْشَأَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَفْقَهُونَ
*Na Yeye ndiye aliye kuzalisheni kutokana na nafsi moja. Pako pahali pa kutulia na pa kupita njia. Hakika tumezichambua Ishara hizi kwa watu wanao fahamu.
*It is He who created you from a single soul, then there is the [enduring] abode and the place of temporary lodging. We have certainly elaborated the signs for a people who understand.
6:99
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًا نُخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّا مُتَرَاكِبًا وَمِنَ النَّخْلِ مِنْ طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌ دَانِيَةٌ وَجَنَّاتٍ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَابِهٍ ۗ انْظُرُوا إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِ إِذَا أَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكُمْ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Na Yeye ndiye anaye teremsha maji kutoka mbinguni; na kwayo tunatoa mimea ya kila kitu. Kutokana na baadhi yao tukatoa mimea ya majani, tukatoa ndani yake punje zilizo pandana; na kutokana na mitende yakatoka kwenye makole yake mashada yaliyo inama; na bustani za mizabibu na mizaituni, na makomamanga, yaliyo fanana na yasiyo fanana. Angalieni matunda yake yanapo zaa na yakawiva. Hakika katika hayo pana Ishara kwa watu wanao amini.
*It is He who sends down water from the sky, and brings forth with it every kind of growing thing. Then from it We bring forth vegetation from which We produce the grain, in clusters, and from the palm-tree, from the spathes of it, low-hanging clusters [of dates], and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Look at its fruit as it fructifies and ripens. Indeed, there are signs in that for a people who have faith.
6:100
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ الْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ ۖ وَخَرَقُوا لَهُ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
*Bado wamemfanyia Mwenyezi Mungu majini kuwa washirika wake, na hali Yeye ndiye aliye waumba. Na wakamzulia, bila ya ujuzi wowote, kuwa ana wana wa kiume na wa kike. Subhanahu, Ametakasika na ametukuka juu ya hayo wanayo mbandikiza nayo!
*They make the jinn partners of Allah, though He has created them, and carve out sons and daughters for Him, without any knowledge. Immaculate is He and exalted above what they allege [concerning Him]!
6:101
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ صَاحِبَةٌ ۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
*Yeye ndiye Muumbaji wa mbingu na ardhi bila ya ruwaza. Itakuwaje awe na mwana naye hakuwa na mke? Naye ndiye aliye umba kila kitu. Naye ni Mwenye kujua kila kitu.
*The originator of the heavens and the earth—how could He have a child when He has had no spouse? He created all things and He has knowledge of all things.
6:102
ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكِيلٌ
*Huyo ndiye Allah, Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola Mlezi wenu, hapana mungu ila Yeye, Muumba wa kila kitu. Basi muabuduni Yeye tu. Naye ni Mtegemewa wa kila kitu.
*That is Allah, your Lord, there is no god except Him, the creator of all things; so worship Him. He watches over all things.
6:103
لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ ۖ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ
*Macho hayamfikilii bali Yeye anayafikilia macho. Naye ni Mjuzi, Mwenye khabari.
*The sights do not apprehend Him, yet He apprehends the sights, and He is the All-attentive, the All-aware.
6:104
قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بَصَائِرُ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِيَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۚ وَمَا أَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَفِيظٍ
*Zimekwisha kukujieni hoja wazi kutoka kwa Mola wenu Mlezi. Basi anaye ona ni kwa faida yake mwenyewe, na anaye pofuka basi ni khasara yake. Nami si mtunzaji wenu.
*[Say,] ‘Certainly insights have come to you from your Lord. So whoever sees, it is to the benefit of his own soul, and whoever remains blind, it is to its detriment, and I am not a keeper over you.’
6:105
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ وَلِيَقُولُوا دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
*Na namna hivyo tunazisarifu Aya, na wao wakwambie: Umesoma. Na ili tuyabainishe kwa watu wanao jua.
*Thus do We paraphrase the signs variously, lest they should say, ‘You have received instruction,’ and so that We may make it clear for a people who have knowledge.
6:106
اتَّبِعْ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Fuata uliyo funuliwa kutoka kwa Mola wako Mlezi. Hapana mungu ila Yeye. Na jitenge na washirikina.
*Follow that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, there is no god except Him, and turn away from the polytheists.
6:107
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكُوا ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِوَكِيلٍ
*Na lau Mwenyezi Mungu angeli penda, wasingeli shiriki. Na Sisi hatukukufanya wewe uwe mtunzaji wao. Wala wewe si mlinzi juu yao.
*Had Allah wished they would not have ascribed partners [to Him]. We have not made you a caretaker for them, nor is it your duty to watch over them.
6:108
وَلَا تَسُبُّوا الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّوا اللَّهَ عَدْوًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Wala msiwatukane hao wanao waomba badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wasije na wao wakamtukana Mwenyezi Mungu kwa jeuri bila ya kujua. Namna hivyo tumewapambia kila umma vitendo vyao. Kisha marejeo yao yatakuwa kwa Mola wao Mlezi, naye atawaambia waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*Do not abuse those whom they invoke besides Allah, lest they should abuse Allah out of hostility, without any knowledge. That is how to every people We have made their conduct seem decorous. Then their return will be to their Lord and He will inform them concerning what they used to do.
6:109
وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ لَيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَا إِذَا جَاءَتْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Na waliapa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa ukomo wa viapo vyao, kuwa ikiwafikia Ishara wataiamini. Sema: Ishara ziko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na nyinyi hamjui kuwa zitapo kuja hawato amini.
*They swear by Allah with solemn oaths that were a sign to come to them they would surely believe in it. Say, ‘These signs are only from Allah,’ and what will bring home to you that they will not believe even if they came?
6:110
وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْئِدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَارَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِهِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
*Nasi twazigeuza nyoyo zao na macho yao. Kama walivyo kuwa hawakuamini mara ya kwanza, tunawaacha katika maasi yao wakitangatanga.
*We transform their hearts and their visions as they did not believe in it the first time, and We leave them bewildered in their rebellion.
6:111
وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ قُبُلًا مَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ
*NA LAU kuwa tungeli wateremshia Malaika, na maiti wakazungumza nao, na tukawakusanyia kila kitu mbele yao, bado wasingeli amini, ila Mwenyezi Mungu atake. Lakini wengi wao wamo ujingani.
*Even if We had sent down angels to them, and the dead had spoken to them, and We had gathered before them all things manifestly, they would [still] not believe unless Allah wished. But most of them are ignorant.
6:112
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَاطِينَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ
*Na kadhaalika tumemfanyia kila Nabii maadui mashet´ani wa kiwatu, na kijini, wakifundishana wao kwa wao maneno ya kupamba-pamba, kwa udanganyifu. Na angeli penda Mola wako Mlezi wasingeli fanya hayo. Basi waache na wanayo yazua.
*That is how for every prophet We appointed as enemy the devils from among humans and jinn, who inspire each other with flashy words, deceptively. Had your Lord wished, they would not have done it. So leave them with what they fabricate,
6:113
وَلِتَصْغَىٰ إِلَيْهِ أَفْئِدَةُ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَلِيَرْضَوْهُ وَلِيَقْتَرِفُوا مَا هُمْ مُقْتَرِفُونَ
*Na ili nyoyo za wasio amini Akhera zielekee hayo, nao wayaridhie na wayachume wanayo yachuma.
*so that toward it may incline the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter, and so that they may be pleased with it and commit what they commit.
6:114
أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْتَغِي حَكَمًا وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكِتَابَ مُفَصَّلًا ۚ وَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ مُنَزَّلٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ
*Je, nimtafute hakimu ghairi ya Mwenyezi Mungu, naye ndiye aliye kuteremshieni Kitabu kilicho elezwa waziwazi? Na hao tulio wapa Kitabu wanajua ya kwamba kimeteremshwa na Mola wako Mlezi kwa Haki. Basi usiwe katika wanao tia shaka.
*[Say,] ‘Shall I seek a judge other than Allah, while it is He who has sent down to you the Book, well-elaborated?’ Those whom We have given the Book know that it has been sent down from your Lord with the truth; so do not be one of the skeptics.
6:115
وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلًا ۚ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
*Na yametimia maneno ya Mola Mlezi wako kwa kweli na uadilifu. Hapana awezaye kuyabadilisha maneno yake. Na Yeye ndiye Mwenye kusikia na Mwenye kujua.
*The word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and justice. Nothing can change His words, and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.
6:116
وَإِنْ تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
*Na ukiwat´ii wengi katika hawa waliomo duniani watakupoteza na Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hawa hawafuati ila dhana tu, na hawakuwa ila ni wenye kusema uwongo tu.
*If you obey most of those on the earth, they will lead you astray from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjectures and they do nothing but surmise.
6:117
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَنْ يَضِلُّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
*Hakika Mola wako Mlezi ndiye Mjuzi kushinda wote kuwajua walio potea Njia yake, na ndiye Mjuzi kushinda wote kuwajua walio hidika.
*Indeed your Lord knows best those who stray from His way; and He knows best those who are guided.
6:118
فَكُلُوا مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ بِآيَاتِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ
*Basi kuleni katika walio somewa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, ikiwa mnaziamini Aya zake.
*Eat from that over which Allah’s Name has been mentioned, if you are believers in His signs.
6:119
وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُمْ مَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا اضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَائِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُعْتَدِينَ
*Na kwa nini msile katika walio somewa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, naye amekwisha kubainishieni alivyo kuharimishieni, isipo kuwa vile mnavyo lazimishwa? Na hakika wengi wanapoteza kwa matamanio yao bila ya kuwa na ilimu. Hakika Mola wako Mlezi ndiye Mjuzi kushinda wote kuwajua wanao pindukia mipaka.
*Why should you not eat that over which Allah’s Name has been mentioned, while He has already elaborated for you whatever He has forbidden you, excepting what you may be compelled to [eat in an emergency]? Indeed many mislead [others] by their fancies, without any knowledge. Indeed your Lord knows best the transgressors.
6:120
وَذَرُوا ظَاهِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ الْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُوا يَقْتَرِفُونَ
*Na acheni dhambi zilizo dhaahiri na zilizo fichikana. Hakika wanao chuma dhambi watalipwa kwa waliyo kuwa wakiyachuma.
*Renounce outward sins and the inward ones. Indeed those who commit sins shall be requited for what they used to commit.
6:121
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ ۗ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَائِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ
*Wala msile katika wale wasio somewa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu. Kwani huo ni upotofu. Na kwa yakini mashet´ani wanawafunza marafiki zao kubishana nanyi. Na mkiwafuata basi hapana shaka nyinyi mtakuwa washirikina.
*Do not eat [anything] of that over which Allah’s Name has not been mentioned, and that is indeed transgression. Indeed the satans inspire their friends to dispute with you; and if you obey them, you will indeed be polytheists.
6:122
أَوَمَنْ كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ كَمَنْ مَثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِنْهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Je, aliye kuwa maiti kisha tukamhuisha, na tukamjaalia nuru inakwenda naye mbele za watu, mfano wake ni kama aliyoko gizani akawa hata hawezi kutoka humo? Kama hivyo makafiri wamepambiwa waliyo kuwa wakiyafanya.
*Is he who was lifeless, then We gave him life and provided him with a light by which he walks among the people, like one who dwells in a manifold darkness which he cannot leave? To the faithless is thus presented as decorous what they have been doing.
6:123
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَابِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا فِيهَا ۖ وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
*Kadhaalika katika kila mji tumewajaalia wakubwa wa wakosefu wao wafanye vitimbi ndani yake. Na wala hawafanyii vitimbi isipo kuwa nafsi zao, nao hawatambui.
*Thus have We installed in every town its major criminals that they may plot therein. Yet they do not plot except against their own souls, but they are not aware.
6:124
وَإِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ قَالُوا لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤْتَىٰ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ اللَّهِ ۘ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ ۗ سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا صَغَارٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَمْكُرُونَ
*Na inapo wajia Ishara, wao husema: Hatutoamini mpaka tupewe mfano wa walio pewa Mitume wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mjuzi kuliko wote kujua wapi anaweka ujumbe wake. Itawafikia hao walio kosa udhalili na adhabu kali kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa sababu ya vitimbi walivyo kuwa wakivifanya.
*When a sign comes to them, they say, ‘We will not believe until we are given the like of what was given to Allah’s apostles.’ Allah knows best where to place His apostleship! Soon the guilty will be visited by a degradation and severe punishment from Allah because of the plots they used to devise.
6:125
فَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ ۖ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ أَنْ يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Basi yule ambaye Mwenyezi Mungu anataka kumhidi humfungulia kifua chake kwa Uislamu. Na anaye taka apotee hukifanya kifua chake kina dhiki, kimebana, kama kwamba anapanda mbinguni. Namna hivi Mwenyezi Mungu anajaalia uchafu juu ya wasio amini.
*Whomever Allah desires to guide, He opens his breast to Islam, and whomever He desires to lead astray, He makes his breast narrow and straitened as if he were climbing to a height. Thus does Allah lay [spiritual] defilement on those who do not have faith.
6:126
وَهَٰذَا صِرَاطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيمًا ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
*Na hii ndiyo Njia ya Mola wako Mlezi Iliyo nyooka. Tumezipambanua Aya kwa watu wanao kumbuka.
*This is the straight path of your Lord. We have already elaborated the signs for a people who take admonition.
6:127
لَهُمْ دَارُ السَّلَامِ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Hao watapata nyumba ya salama kwa Mola Mlezi wao. Naye ndiye Rafiki Mlinzi wao kwa sababu ya waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*For them shall be the abode of peace near their Lord and He will be their guardian because of what they used to do.
6:128
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ ۖ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمْ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا ۚ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na ile Siku atapo wakusanya wote awaambie: Enyi makundi ya majini! Hakika nyinyi mmechukua wafuasi wengi katika wanaadamu. Na marafiki zao katika wanaadamu waseme: Mola Mlezi wetu! Tulinufaishana sisi na wao. Na tumefikia ukomo wetu ulio tuwekea. Basi Mwenyezi Mungu atasema: Moto ndio makaazi yenu, mtadumu humo, ila apendavyo Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika Mola wako Mlezi ni Mwenye hikima, na Mwenye kujua.
*On the day He will gather them all together, [He will say], ‘O company of jinn! You claimed many of the humans.’ Their friends from among the humans will say, ‘Our Lord, we used each other, and we completed our term which You had appointed for us.’ He will say, ‘The Fire is your abode, to remain in it [forever], except what Allah may wish.’ Indeed your Lord is all-wise, all-knowing.
6:129
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُوَلِّي بَعْضَ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
*Ndio kama hivi tunawaelekeza madhaalimu wapendane wao kwa wao kwa sababu ya waliyo kuwa wakiyachuma.
*That is how We make the wrongdoers one another’s friends because of what they used to earn.
6:130
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِنْكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا ۚ قَالُوا شَهِدْنَا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِنَا ۖ وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَافِرِينَ
*Enyi makundi ya majini na watu! Je, hawakukujieni Mitume kutokana na nyinyi wenyewe wakikubainishieni Aya zangu, na wakikuonyeni mkutano wa Siku yenu hii. Nao watasema: Tumeshuhudia juu ya nafsi zetu. Na yaliwadanganya maisha ya dunia. Nao watajishuhudia wenyewe ya kwamba walikuwa makafiri.
*‘O company of jinn and humans! Did there not come to you apostles from yourselves, recounting to you My signs and warning you of the encounter of this Day?’ They will say, ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world had deceived them, and they will testify against themselves that they had been faithless.
6:131
ذَٰلِكَ أَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَافِلُونَ
*Hayo ni kwa sababu ya kuwa Mola wako Mlezi hakuwa wa kuiangamiza miji kwa dhulma, hali wenyewe wameghafilika.
*This is because your Lord would never destroy the towns unjustly while their people were unaware.
6:132
وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِمَّا عَمِلُوا ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ
*Na wote wana daraja mbali mbali kutokana na yale waliyo yatenda. Na Mola wako Mlezi si mwenye kughafilika na yale wanayo yatenda.
*For everyone there are ranks in accordance with what they have done; and your Lord is not oblivious of what they do.
6:133
وَرَبُّكَ الْغَنِيُّ ذُو الرَّحْمَةِ ۚ إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفْ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ مَا يَشَاءُ كَمَا أَنْشَأَكُمْ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ قَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ
*Na Mola wako Mlezi ndiye Mkwasi, Mwenye rehema. Akipenda atakuondoeni na awaweke wengine awapendao badala yenu, kama vile alivyo kutoeni kutokana na uzazi wa watu wengine.
*Your Lord is the All-sufficient dispenser of mercy. If He wishes, He will take you away, and make whomever He wishes succeed you, just as He produced you from the descendants of another people.
6:134
إِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَآتٍ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ
*Bila ya shaka hayo mnayo ahidiwa yatafika tu, wala nyinyi hamtaweza kuyaepuka.
*Indeed what you are promised will surely come, and you will not be able to thwart it.
6:135
قُلْ يَا قَوْمِ اعْمَلُوا عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّي عَامِلٌ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ ۗ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
*Sema: Enyi watu wangu! Fanyeni muwezayo, na hakika mimi nafanya. Mtakuja jua nani atakuwa na makaazi mema mwishoni. Hakika madhaalimu hawatafanikiwa.
*Say, ‘O my people, act according to your ability; I too am acting. Soon you will know in whose favour the outcome of that abode will be. Indeed the wrongdoers will not be felicitous.’
6:136
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ الْحَرْثِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ نَصِيبًا فَقَالُوا هَٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَٰذَا لِشُرَكَائِنَا ۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَائِهِمْ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَائِهِمْ ۗ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
*Na wamemwekea sehemu Mwenyezi Mungu katika mimea na wanyama alio umba, nao husema: Hii ni sehemu ya Mwenyezi Mungu - kwa madai yao - na hii ni ya miungu tunao washirikisha. Basi vile walivyo wakusudia miungu yao havimfikii Mwenyezi Mungu, na vilivyo kuwa vya Mwenyezi Mungu huwafikia miungu yao. Ni uovu kabisa hayo wanayo yahukumu.
*They dedicate a portion to Allah out of what He has created of the crops and cattle, and say, ‘This is for Allah,’ so do they maintain, ‘and this is for our partners.’ But what is for their partners does not reach Allah, and what is for Allah reaches their partners. Evil is the judgement that they make.
6:137
وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ
*Na kadhaalika hao washirika wao wamewapambia wengi katika washirikina kuwauwa watoto wao ili kuwaangamiza na kuwavurugia dini yao. Na lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu angeli penda wasinge fanya hayo. Basi waache na hayo wanayo yazua.
*That is how to most of the polytheists the slaying of their children is presented as decorous by those whom they ascribe as partners [to Allah], that they may ruin them and confound their religion for them. Had Allah wished, they would not have done it. So leave them with what they fabricate.
6:138
وَقَالُوا هَٰذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لَا يَطْعَمُهَا إِلَّا مَنْ نَشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
*Nao husema: Wanyama hawa na mimea hii ni mwiko. Hawatokula ila wale tuwapendao - kwa madai yao tu. Na wanyama hawa imeharimishwa migongo yao kupandwa. Na wanyama wengine hawalitaji jina la Mwenyezi Mungu juu yao. Wanamzulia uwongo tu Mwenyezi Mungu. Atawalipa kwa hayo wanayo mzulia.
*And they say, ‘These cattle and tillage are a taboo: none may eat them except whom we please,’ so they maintain, and there are cattle whose backs are forbidden and cattle over which they do not mention Allah’s Name, fabricating a lie against Him. Soon He will requite them for what they used to fabricate.
6:139
وَقَالُوا مَا فِي بُطُونِ هَٰذِهِ الْأَنْعَامِ خَالِصَةٌ لِذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِنَا ۖ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ مَيْتَةً فَهُمْ فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
*Na husema: Waliomo matumboni mwa wanyama hawa ni kwa ajili ya wanaume wetu tu, na wameharimishwa kwa wake zetu. Lakini ikiwa nyamafu basi wanashirikiana. Mwenyezi Mungu atawalipa kwa maelezo yao hayo. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye hikima, Mwenye kujua.
*And they say, ‘That which is in the bellies of these cattle is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our wives. But if it be still-born, they will all share it.’ Soon He will requite them for their allegations. Indeed, He is all-wise, all-knowing.
6:140
قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا أَوْلَادَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُوا مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللَّهُ افْتِرَاءً عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ قَدْ ضَلُّوا وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَ
*Hakika wamekhasirika wale ambao wamewauwa watoto wao kwa upumbavu pasipo kujua, na wakaharimisha alivyo waruzuku Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kumzulia Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika wamepotea, wala hawakuwa wenye kuongoka.
*They are certainly losers who slay their children foolishly without knowledge, and forbid what Allah has provided them, fabricating a lie against Allah. Certainly, they have gone astray and are not guided.
6:141
وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْشَأَ جَنَّاتٍ مَعْرُوشَاتٍ وَغَيْرَ مَعْرُوشَاتٍ وَالنَّخْلَ وَالزَّرْعَ مُخْتَلِفًا أُكُلُهُ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَابِهًا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَابِهٍ ۚ كُلُوا مِنْ ثَمَرِهِ إِذَا أَثْمَرَ وَآتُوا حَقَّهُ يَوْمَ حَصَادِهِ ۖ وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
*Na Yeye ndiye aliye ziumba bustani zenye kutambaa juu ya chanja, na zisio tambaa, na mitende, na mimea yenye matunda mbali mbali, na mizaituni na mikomamanga inayo fanana na isiyo fanana. Kuleni matunda yake inapo zaa, na toeni haki yake siku ya kuvunwa kwake. Wala msitumie kwa fujo. Hakika Yeye hawapendi watumiayo kwa fujo.
*It is He who produces gardens trellised and without trellises, and palm-trees and crops of diverse produce, olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of its fruits when it fructifies, and give its due on the day of harvest, and do not be wasteful; indeed, He does not like the wasteful.
6:142
وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ حَمُولَةً وَفَرْشًا ۚ كُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ
*Na katika wanyama amekujaalieni wenye kubeba mizigo na kutoa matandiko. Kuleni katika alivyo kuruzukuni Mwenyezi Mungu, wala msifuate nyayo za Shet´ani. Hakika yeye ni adui yenu dhaahiri.
*Of the cattle [some] are for burden and [some] for slaughter. Eat of what Allah has provided you and do not follow in Satan’s footsteps; he is indeed your manifest enemy.
6:143
ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ ۖ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۖ نَبِّئُونِي بِعِلْمٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
*Amekuumbieni namna nane za wanyama: Wawili katika kondoo, na wawili katika mbuzi. Sema je, ameharimisha yote madume wawili au majike wawili, au waliomo matumboni mwa majike yote mawili? Niambieni kwa ilimu ikiwa nyinyi mnasema kweli.
*Eight mates: two of sheep, and two of goats. Say, ‘Is it the two males that He has forbidden or the two females, or what is contained in the wombs of the two females? Inform me with knowledge, should you be truthful.’
6:144
وَمِنَ الْإِبِلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۖ أَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
*Na wawili katika ngamia, na wawili katika ng´ombe. Sema: Je, ameharimisha yote madume wawili au majike wawili, au waliomo matumboni mwa yote majike? Au, nyinyi mlikuwapo Mwenyezi Mungu alipo kuusieni haya? Basi ni nani dhaalimu mkubwa kuliko yule aliye mzulia Mwenyezi Mungu uwongo, kwa ajili ya kuwapoteza watu bila ya ilimu? Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hawahidi watu madhaalimu.
*And two of camels and two of oxen. Say, ‘Is it the two males that He has forbidden or the two females, or what is contained in the wombs of the two females? Were you witnesses when Allah enjoined this upon you?’ So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates a lie against Allah to mislead the people without any knowledge? Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot.
6:145
قُلْ لَا أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنْزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ ۚ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Sema: Sioni katika yale niliyo funuliwa mimi kitu kilicho harimishwa kwa mlaji kukila isipo kuwa kiwe ni nyamafu, au damu inayo mwagika, au nyama ya nguruwe, kwani hiyo ni uchafu; au kwa upotofu kimechinjwa kwa jina la asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Lakini mwenye kushikwa na dharura, bila ya kutamani wala kupita mipaka, basi hakika Mola wako Mlezi ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*Say, ‘I do not find in what has been revealed to me that anyone be forbidden to eat anything except carrion or spilt blood, or the flesh of swine—for that is indeed unclean—or an impiety offered to other than Allah.’ But should someone be compelled, without being rebellious or aggressive, indeed your Lord is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
6:146
وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ ۖ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُمْ بِبَغْيِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
*Na wale walio fuata dini ya Kiyahudi tumewaharimishia kila mwenye kucha. Na katika ng´ombe na kondoo na mbuzi tumewaharimishia shahamu yao, isipo kuwa ile iliyo beba migongo yao au matumbo yao, au iliyo gandamana na mifupa. Tuliwalipa hivyo kwa sababu ya uasi wao. Na bila ya shaka Sisi ndio wasema kweli.
*To the Jews We forbade every animal having an undivided hoof, and of oxen and sheep We forbade them their fat, except what is borne by their backs or the entrails, or what is attached to the bones. We requited them with that for their rebelliousness, and We indeed speak the truth.
6:147
فَإِنْ كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُلْ رَبُّكُمْ ذُو رَحْمَةٍ وَاسِعَةٍ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأْسُهُ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
*Wakikukanusha basi wewe sema: Mola Mlezi wenu ni Mwenye rehema iliyo enea. Wala haizuiliki adhabu yake kwa watu wakhalifu.
*But if they deny you, say, ‘Your Lord is dispenser of an all-embracing mercy, but His punishment will not be averted from the guilty lot.’
6:148
سَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكْنَا وَلَا آبَاؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُوا بَأْسَنَا ۗ قُلْ هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ مِنْ عِلْمٍ فَتُخْرِجُوهُ لَنَا ۖ إِنْ تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا تَخْرُصُونَ
*Watasema walio shirikisha: Lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ange taka tusingeli shiriki sisi, wala baba zetu; wala tusingeli harimisha kitu chochote. Vivi hivi walikanusha walio kuwa kabla yao mpaka walipo onja adhabu yetu. Sema: Je, nyinyi mnayo ilimu mtutolee? Nyinyi hamfuati ila dhana. Wala hamsemi ila uwongo tu.
*The polytheists will say, ‘Had Allah wished we would not have ascribed any partner [to Him], nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything.’ Those who were before them had denied likewise until they tasted Our punishment. Say, ‘Do you have any [revealed] knowledge that you can produce before us? You follow nothing but conjectures, and you do nothing but surmise.’
6:149
قُلْ فَلِلَّهِ الْحُجَّةُ الْبَالِغَةُ ۖ فَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
*Sema: Basi Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye hoja ya kukata. Na kama angeli penda angeli kuhidini nyote.
*Say, ‘To Allah belongs the conclusive argument. Had He wished, He would have surely guided you all.’
6:150
قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَٰذَا ۖ فَإِنْ شَهِدُوا فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَهُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ
*Sema: Leteni mashahidi wenu watao shuhudia kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ameharimisha hawa. Basi wakishuhudia, wewe usishuhudie pamoja nao. Wala usifuate matamanio ya walio zikanusha Ishara zetu, wala hawaiamini Akhera, na ambao wanamlinganisha Mola Mlezi wao na wengine.
*Say, ‘Bring your witnesses who may testify that Allah has forbidden this.’ So if they testify, do not testify with them, and do not follow the desires of those who deny Our signs, and those who do not believe in the Hereafter and equate [others] with their Lord.
6:151
قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ إِمْلَاقٍ ۖ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
*Sema: Njooni nikusomeeni aliyo kuharimishieni Mola wenu Mlezi. Nayo ni kuwa, msimshirikishe Yeye na chochote. Na wazazi wenu wafanyieni wema. Wala msiwauwe watoto wenu kwa sababu ya umasikini. Sisi tunakuruzukuni nyinyi na wao. Wala msikaribie mambo machafu, yanayo onekana, na yanayo fichikana. Wala msiuwe nafsi ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu ameharimisha kuiuwa, ila ikiwa kwa haki. Hayo amekuusieni ili myatie akilini.
*Say, ‘Come, I will recount what your Lord has forbidden you. That you shall not ascribe any partners to Him, and you shall be good to the parents, you shall not kill your children due to penury—We will provide for you and for them—you shall not approach indecencies, the outward among them and the inward ones, and you shall not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause. This is what He has enjoined upon you so that you may exercise your reason.
6:152
وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ ۖ وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ ۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُوا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۖ وَبِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ أَوْفُوا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
*Wala msiyakaribie mali ya yatima ila kwa njia ya wema kabisa, mpaka afikilie utu-uzima. Na timizeni vipimo na mizani kwa uadilifu. Sisi hatumkalifishi mtu ila kwa kadiri ya uwezo wake. Na msemapo semeni kwa uadilifu ingawa ni jamaa. Na ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu itekelezeni. Hayo amekuusieni ili mpate kukumbuka.
*Do not approach the orphan’s property, except in the best [possible] manner, until he comes of age. And observe fully the measure and the balance with justice.’ We task no soul except according to its capacity. ‘And when you speak, be fair, even if it were a relative; and fulfill Allah’s covenant. This is what He enjoins upon you so that you may take admonition.’
6:153
وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
*Na kwa hakika hii ndiyo Njia yangu Iliyo Nyooka. Basi ifuateni, wala msifuate njia nyingine, zikakutengeni na Njia yake. Haya amekuusieni ili mpate kuchamngu.
*‘This indeed is my straight path, so follow it, and do not follow [other] ways, for they will separate you from His way. This is what He enjoins upon you so that you may be Godwary.’
6:154
ثُمَّ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ تَمَامًا عَلَى الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ وَتَفْصِيلًا لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Tena tulimpa Musa Kitabu kwa kumtimizia (neema) aliye fanya wema, na kuwa ni maelezo ya kila kitu, na uwongofu na rehema, ili wapate kuamini mkutano wao na Mola wao Mlezi.
*Then We gave Moses the Book, completing [Our blessing] on him who is virtuous, and as an elaboration of all things, and as a guidance and mercy, so that they may believe in the encounter with their Lord.
6:155
وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَاتَّقُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
*Na hichi ni Kitabu tulicho kiteremsha, kilicho barikiwa. Basi kifuateni, na mchenimngu, ili mrehemewe.
*And this Book that We have sent down is a blessed one; so follow it, and be Godwary so that you may receive [His] mercy.
6:156
أَنْ تَقُولُوا إِنَّمَا أُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابُ عَلَىٰ طَائِفَتَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا وَإِنْ كُنَّا عَنْ دِرَاسَتِهِمْ لَغَافِلِينَ
*Msije mkasema: Hakika mataifa mawili kabla yetu yameteremshiwa Kitabu; na sisi tulikuwa hatuna khabari ya waliyo kuwa wakiyasoma.
*Lest you should say, ‘The Book was sent down only to two communities before us, and we were indeed unaware of their studies,’
6:157
أَوْ تَقُولُوا لَوْ أَنَّا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْكِتَابُ لَكُنَّا أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمْ ۚ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا ۗ سَنَجْزِي الَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْدِفُونَ
*Au mkasema: Lau kuwa tumeteremshiwa sisi Kitabu tungeli kuwa waongofu zaidi kuliko wao. Basi imekufikieni bayana kutoka kwa Mola wenu Mlezi, na uwongofu, na rehema. Basi nani aliye dhaalimu mkubwa zaidi kuliko yule anaye kanusha Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu, na akajitenga nazo? Tutawalipa wanao jitenga na Ishara zetu adhabu kali kabisa kwa sababu ya kujitenga kwao.
*or [lest] you should say, ‘If the Book had been sent down to us, surely we would have been better-guided than them.’ There has already come to you a manifest proof from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who denies the signs of Allah, and turns away from them? Soon We shall requite those who turn away from Our signs with a terrible punishment because of what they used to evade.
6:158
هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ ۗ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا ۗ قُلِ انْتَظِرُوا إِنَّا مُنْتَظِرُونَ
*Wanangoja jengine ila wawafikie Malaika, au awafikie Mola wako Mlezi, au zifike baadhi ya Ishara za Mola wako Mlezi? Siku zitakapo fika baadhi ya Ishara za Mola wako Mlezi, kuamini hapo hakutomfaa mtu kitu, ikiwa hakuwa ameamini kabla yake, au amefanya kheri katika Imani yake. Sema: Ngojeni, nasi pia tunangoja.
*Do they not consider that the angels may come to them, or your Lord may come, or some of your Lord’s signs may come? The day when some of your Lord’s signs do come, faith shall not benefit any soul that had not believed beforehand and had not earned some goodness in its faith. Say, ‘Wait! We too are waiting!’
6:159
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
*Hakika walio igawa Dini yao na wakawa makundi makundi, huna ukhusiano nao wowote. Bila ya shaka shauri yao iko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu; kisha atawaambia yale waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
*Indeed those who split up their religion and became sects, you will not have anything to do with them. Their matter rests only with Allah; then He will inform them concerning what they used to do.
6:160
مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا ۖ وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَىٰ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
*Afanyae wema atalipwa mfano wake mara kumi. na afanyae ubaya hatalipwa ila sawa nao tu. Na wao hawatadhulumiwa.
*Whoever brings virtue shall receive [a reward] ten times its like; but whoever brings vice shall not be requited except with its like, and they will not be wronged.
6:161
قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ دِينًا قِيَمًا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
*Sema: Kwa hakika mimi Mola wangu Mlezi ameniongoa kwenye Njia Iliyo Nyooka, Dini iliyo sawa kabisa, ambayo ndiyo mila ya Ibrahim aliye kuwa mwongofu, wala hakuwa miongoni mwa washirikina.
*Say, ‘Indeed my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the upright religion, the creed of Abraham, a Hanif, and he was not one of the polytheists.’
6:162
قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Sema: Hakika Sala yangu, na ibada zangu, na uhai wangu, na kufa kwangu, ni kwa ajili ya Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola Mlezi wa viumbe vyote.
*Say, ‘Indeed my prayer and my worship, my life and my death are for the sake of Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
6:163
لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
*Hana mshirika wake. Na hayo ndiyo niliyo amrishwa, na mimi ni wa kwanza wa Waislamu.
*He has no partner, and I have been commanded [to follow] this [creed], and I am the first of those who submit [to Allah].’
6:164
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
*Sema: Je nitafute Mola Mlezi asiye kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na hali Yeye ndiye Mola Mlezi wa kila kitu? Na kila nafsi haichumii ila nafsi yake. Na habebi mwenye kubeba mzigo wa mwenziwe. Kisha marejeo yenu ni kwa Mola wenu Mlezi, naye atakuambieni mliyo kuwa mkikhitalifiana.
*Say, ‘Shall I seek a Lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things?’ No soul does evil except against itself, and no bearer shall bear another’s burden; then to your Lord will be your return, whereat He will inform you concerning that about which you used to differ.
6:165
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ الْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
*Naye ndiye aliye kufanyeni makhalifa wa duniani, na amewanyanyua baadhi yenu juu ya wengine daraja kubwa kubwa, ili akujaribuni kwa hayo aliyo kupeni. Hakika Mola Mlezi wako ni Mwepesi wa kuadhibu, na hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
*It is He who has made you successors on the earth, and raised some of you in rank above others so that He may test you in respect to what He has given you. Indeed your Lord is swift in retribution, and indeed, He is all-forgiving, all-merciful.
