Sura 77 - Al-Mursalaat

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
77:1
وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا
*Naapa kwa zinazo tumwa kwa upole!
*By the [angelic] emissaries sent successively,
77:2
فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا
*Na zinazo vuma kwa kasi!
*by those who sweep along like gale,
77:3
وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا
*Na zikaeneza maeneo yote!
*by those who publish [the Divine messages] far and wide,
77:4
فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا
*Na zinazo farikisha zikatawanya!
*by those who separate [the truth from falsehood] distinctly,
77:5
فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
*Na zinazo peleka mawaidha!
*by those who inspire [God’s] remembrance,
77:6
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
*Kwa kuudhuru au kuonya,
*as exemption or warning:
77:7
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ
*Hakika mnayo ahidiwa bila ya shaka yatakuwa!
*what you are promised will surely befall.
77:8
فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
*Wakati nyota zitakapo futwa,
*When the stars are blotted out
77:9
وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ
*Na mbingu zitakapo pasuliwa,
*and the sky is cleft,
77:10
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
*Na milima itakapo peperushwa,
*when the mountains are scattered [like dust]
77:11
وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
*Na Mitume watakapo wekewa wakati wao,
*and time is set for the apostles [to bear witness]
77:12
لِأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
*Kwa siku gani hiyo wamewekewa muda huo?
*—for what day has [all] that been set [to occur]?
77:13
لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ
*Kwa siku ya kupambanua!
*For the Day of Judgement!
77:14
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ
*Na nini kitakacho kujuulisha siku ya kupambanua ni nini?
*And what will show you what is the Day of Judgement!?
77:15
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao, siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:16
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
*Kwani hatukuwaangamiza walio tangulia?
*Did We not destroy the former generations,
77:17
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الْآخِرِينَ
*Kisha tukawafuatilizia walio fuatia?
*[and] then made the latter ones follow them?
77:18
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
*Ndio kama hivi tuwatendavyo wakosefu!
*That is how We deal with the guilty.
77:19
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:20
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ
*Kwani hatukukuumbeni kwa maji ya kudharauliwa?
*Have We not created you from a base fluid,
77:21
فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ
*Kisha tukayaweka mahali pa utulivu madhubuti?
*[and] then lodged it in a secure abode
77:22
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ
*Mpaka muda maalumu?
*until a known span [of time]?
77:23
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
*Tukakadiria na Sisi ni wabora wa kukadiria.
*Then We determined; and how excellent determiners We are!
77:24
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:25
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
*Kwani hatukuifanya ardhi yenye kukusanya
*Have We not made the earth a receptacle
77:26
أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا
*Walio hai na maiti?
*for the living and the dead,
77:27
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاءً فُرَاتًا
*Na ndani yake tukaweka milima mirefu yenye kuthibiti, na tunakunywesheni maji matamu?
*and set in it lofty [and] firm mountains, and given you agreeable water to drink?
77:28
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:29
انْطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
*Nendeni kwenye adhabu mliyo kuwa mkiikanusha!
*[The faithless will be told:] ‘Proceed toward what you used to deny!
77:30
انْطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلَاثِ شُعَبٍ
*Nendeni kwenye kivuli chenye mapande matatu!
*Proceed toward the triple-forked shadow,
77:31
لَا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ
*Hakikingi moto, wala hakiwaepushi na mwako.
*neither shady nor of any avail against the flames.
77:32
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
*Hakika Moto huo unatoa macheche kama majumba!
*Indeed it throws up [giant] sparks like castles,
77:33
كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ
*Kama kwamba ni ngamia wa rangi ya manjano!
*[bright] like yellow camels.
77:34
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:35
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنْطِقُونَ
*Hii ni siku ambayo hawatatamka kitu,
*This is a day wherein they will not speak,
77:36
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
*Wala hawataruhusiwa kutoa udhuru.
*nor will they be permitted to offer excuses.
77:37
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao walio kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:38
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ
*Hii ndiyo siku ya kupambanua. Tumekukusanyeni nyinyi na walio tangulia.
*‘This is the Day of Judgement. We have brought you together with the former generations.
77:39
فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
*Ikiwa mnayo hila, nifanyieni hila Mimi!
*If you have any stratagems [left], try them out against Me!’
77:40
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao walio kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:41
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ
*Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika vivuli na chemchem,
*Indeed the Godwary will be amid shades and springs
77:42
وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
*Na matunda wanayo yapenda,
*and [enjoying] such fruits as they desire.
77:43
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
*Kuleni na kunyweni kwa furaha kwa yale mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
*[They will be told:] ‘Enjoy your food and drink, [a reward] for what you used to do.
77:44
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
*Hakika ndio kama hivyo tunavyo walipa watendao mema.
*Thus do We reward the virtuous.’
77:45
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:46
كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ
*Kuleni na mjifurahishe kidogo tu. Hakika nyinyi ni wakosefu!
*‘Eat and enjoy a little! You are indeed guilty.’
77:47
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:48
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
*Na wakiambiwa: Inameni! Hawainami.
*When they are told, ‘Bow down [in prayer],’ they do not bow down!
77:49
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
*Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!
*Woe to the deniers on that day!
77:50
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ
*Basi maneno gani baada ya haya watayaamini?
*So what discourse will they believe after this?
