Sura 81 - At-Takwir

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
81:1
إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
*Jua litakapo kunjwa,
*When the sun is wound up,
81:2
وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ
*Na nyota zikazimwa,
*when the stars scatter,
81:3
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
*Na milima ikaondolewa,
*when the mountains are set moving,
81:4
وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
*Na ngamia wenye mimba pevu watakapo achwa wasishughulikiwe,
*when the pregnant camels are neglected,
81:5
وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
*Na wanyama wa mwituni wakakusanywa,
*when the wild beasts are mustered,
81:6
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
*Na bahari zikawaka moto,
*when the seas are set afire,
81:7
وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
*Na nafsi zikaunganishwa,
*when the souls are assorted,
81:8
وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ
*Na msichana aliye zikwa hai atapo ulizwa,
*when the girl buried-alive will be asked
81:9
بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ
*Kwa kosa gani aliuliwa?
*for what sin she was killed.
81:10
وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ
*Na madaftari yatakapo enezwa,
*When the records [of deeds] are unfolded,
81:11
وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ
*Na mbingu itapo tanduliwa,
*when the sky is stripped off,
81:12
وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
*Na Jahannamu itapo chochewa,
*when hell is set ablaze,
81:13
وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
*Na Pepo ikasogezwa,
*when paradise is brought near,
81:14
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا أَحْضَرَتْ
*Kila nafsi itajua ilicho kihudhurisha.
*then a soul shall know what it has readied [for itself].
81:15
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ
*Naapa kwa nyota zinapo rejea nyuma,
*So I swear by the stars that return,
81:16
الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ
*Zinazo kwenda, kisha zikajificha,
*the comets,
81:17
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ
*Na kwa usiku unapo pungua,
*by the night as it approaches,
81:18
وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
*Na kwa asubuhi inapo pambazuka,
*by the dawn as it breathes:
81:19
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ
*Kwamba hakika bila ya shaka hii ni kauli ya Mjumbe mtukufu,
*it is indeed the speech of a noble apostle,
81:20
ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ
*Mwenye nguvu na mwenye cheo kwa huyo Mwenye Kiti cha Enzi,
*powerful and eminent with the Lord of the Throne,
81:21
مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ
*Anaye t´iiwa, tena muaminifu.
*one who is obeyed and is trustworthy as well.
81:22
وَمَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُونٍ
*Na wala huyu mwenzenu hana wazimu.
*Your companion is not crazy:
81:23
وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ
*Na hakika yeye alimwona kwenye upeo wa macho ulio safi.
*certainly he saw him on the manifest horizon,
81:24
وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ
*Wala yeye si bakhili kwa mambo ya ghaibu.
*and he is not miserly concerning the Unseen.
81:25
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ
*Wala hii si kauli ya Shetani maluuni.
*And it is not the speech of an outcast Satan.
81:26
فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ
*Basi mnakwenda wapi?
*So where are you going?
81:27
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
*Haikuwa hii ila ni ukumbusho kwa walimwengu wote.
*It is just a reminder for all the nations,
81:28
لِمَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَقِيمَ
*Kwa yule miongoni mwenu anaye taka kwenda sawa.
*for those of you who wish to walk straight;
81:29
وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
*Wala nyinyi hamtataka isipo kuwa atake Mwenyezi Mungu Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
*but you will not wish unless it is wished by Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.
