Kwa Jina La Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi Wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu. |
79:1
*Naapa kwa wanao komoa kwa nguvu,
*By those [angels] who wrest [the soul] violently,
|
79:2
*Na kwa wanao toa kwa upole,
*by those who draw [it] out gently,
|
79:3
*Na wanao ogelea,
*by those who swim smoothly,
|
79:4
*Wakishindana mbio,
*by those who, racing, take the lead,
|
79:5
*Wakidabiri mambo.
*by those who direct the affairs [of creatures]:
|
79:6
*Siku kitapo tetemeka cha kutetemeka,
*the day when the Quaker quakes
|
79:7
*Kifuate cha kufuatia.
*and is followed by the Successor,
|
79:8
*Siku hiyo nyoyo zitapiga piga,
*hearts will be trembling on that day,
|
79:9
*Macho yatainama chini.
*bearing a humbled look.
|
79:10
*Sasa wanasema: Ati kweli tutarudishwa kwenye hali ya kwanza?
*They will say, ‘Are we being returned to our earlier state?
|
79:11
*Hata tukiwa mifupa iliyo bunguliwa?
*What, even after we have been decayed bones?!’
|
79:12
*Wanasema: Basi marejeo hayo ni yenye khasara!
*They will say, ‘This is, then, a ruinous return!’
|
79:13
*Kwa hakika hayo ni ukelele mmoja tu,
*Yet it will be only a single shout,
|
79:14
*Mara watakuwa kwenye uwanda wa mkutano!
*and behold, they will be awake.
|
79:15
*Je! Imekufikia hadithi ya Musa?
*Did you receive the story of Moses,
|
79:16
*when his Lord called out to him in the holy valley of Tuwa?
|
79:17
*Nenda kwa Firauni. Hakika yeye amezidi jeuri.
*[And said,] ‘Go to Pharaoh, for indeed he has rebelled,
|
79:18
*Umwambie: Je! Unapenda kujitakasa?
*and say, ‘‘Would you purify yourself?
|
79:19
*Nami nitakuongoa ufike kwa Mola wako Mlezi, upate kumcha.
*I will guide you to your Lord, that you may fear [Him]?’’ ’
|
79:20
*Basi alimwonyesha Ishara kubwa.
*Then he showed him the greatest sign.
|
79:21
*Lakini aliikadhibisha na akaasi.
*But he denied, and disobeyed.
|
79:22
*Kisha alirudi nyuma, akaingia kufanya juhudi.
*Then he turned back, walking swiftly,
|
79:23
*Akakusanya watu akanadi.
*and gathered [the people] and proclaimed,
|
79:24
*Akasema: Mimi ndiye Mola wenu Mlezi mkuu kabisa.
*saying, ‘I am your exalted lord!’
|
79:25
*So Allah seized him with the punishment of this life and the Hereafter.
|
79:26
*There is indeed a moral in that for someone who fears!
|
79:27
*Je! Ni vigumu zaidi kukuumbeni nyinyi au mbingu? Yeye ndiye aliye ijenga!
*Is your creation more prodigious or that of the heaven He has built?
|
79:28
*Akainua kimo chake, na akaitengeneza vizuri.
*He raised its vault and fashioned it,
|
79:29
*Na akautia giza usiku wake, na akautokeza mchana wake.
*and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon.
|
79:30
*Na juu ya hivyo ameitandaza ardhi.
*Thereafter He spread out the earth,
|
79:31
*brought forth from it its water and pastures,
|
79:32
*Na milima akaisimamisha,
*setting firm the mountains,
|
79:33
*Kwa nafuu yenu na mifugo yenu.
*as a [place of] sustenance for you and your livestock.
|
79:34
*Basi itakapo fika hiyo balaa kubwa,
*When the Greatest Catastrophe befalls
|
79:35
*Siku ambayo mtu atakumbuka aliyo yafanya,
*—the day when man will remember his endeavours
|
79:36
*Na Jahannamu itadhihirishwa kwa mwenye kuona,
*and hell is brought into view for those who can see—
|
79:37
*Basi ama yule aliye zidi ujeuri,
*as for him who has been rebellious
|
79:38
*Na akakhiari maisha ya dunia,
*and preferred the life of this world,
|
79:39
*Kwa hakika Jahannamu ndiyo makaazi yake!
*his refuge will indeed be hell.
|
79:40
*But as for him who is awed to stand before his Lord and restrains his soul from [following] desires,
|
79:41
*Basi huyo, Pepo itakuwa ndiyo makaazi yake!
*his refuge will indeed be paradise.
|
79:42
*Wanakuuliza Saa (ya Kiyama) itakuwa lini?
*They ask you concerning the Hour, “When will it set in,
|
79:43
*Una nini wewe hata uitaje?
*considering your frequent mention of it?”
|
79:44
*Kwa Mola wako Mlezi ndio mwisho wake.
*Its outcome is with your Lord.
|
79:45
*You are only a warner for those who are afraid it.
|
79:46
*The day they see it, it shall be as if they had not stayed [in the world] except for an evening or forenoon.
